New favorite spot to grab coffee when visiting grandparents!! I was in desperate need of a "feel like home-made-coffee" and i looked up local coffee spots. This one popped up and i'm so glad!! This place has great photo ops and I love the theme. The coffee tasted just like it does back home, absolutely delicious. Came in Thursday morning for simple drip coffee that took over 20 minutes. I was the only person inside. A few minutes later about 7 people arrived after me, all got their coffee and drinks and my simple drip nowhere in sight. After 10 minutes I asked for my coffee only to be told they forgot to add water to make the drip coffee. After another 10 minutes finally got my coffee and was far from how it tasted the first time here. Very disappointed. Friendly on arrival to be let down by poor service. read more

This is one of the best ice cream places in the whole Tampa Bay Area. The workers provide some of the sweetest and best service that make it a great experience. The ice cream is amazing (the American honey is one of the most incredible ice creams I've ever had, I had it in a milkshake and it was incredible). My kids swear by the waffle cones with the peanut butter blossom, the confetti cookie, and cookie dough. The ambiance is cute and they at least had a movie playing the evening we went. Cute little local Hometown ice cream spot! We stopped in here after having dinner down the street at Finn's for a nice sweet treat! They have lots of homemade ice cream, milkshakes, pies, etc.to choose from. They even have a coffee menu, which I'd love to check out next time we come! All of the ice creams are homemade, so they're really delicious! The staff are nice and friendly and can let you try samples of whatever you like. They have a small inside seating but not much, and they have lots of tables outside on a nice turf lawn. So we enjoyed our ice cream outside on a lovely evening! What a beautiful place to be at on a nice sunny day or even a nice evening for a sweet treat. The ice cream was delicious and creamy. I got the peanut butter blossom and my sister got the banana brûlée. Staff was very sweet and patient to us as we were looking at there various of options. This has become my favorite local coffee shop, hands down! So as someone that was moving away from big chain coffee spots, I was looking for a coffee shop that also gave plenty of flavorful options. (I'm the girl asking for a shot of this flavor, a hint of this, etc. so you know I need plenty of options lol). American Honey Creamy did not disappoint whatsoever! I've gone here over the past couple of months and everything I've had thus far has been delicious. The coffee is rich, creamy, bold, yet full of flavor. I've also tried the chai tea latte and the unsweetened matcha - both are top tier choices and wayyyy better than big chain shops. They have so many flavor options that are unique. From banana, strawberry, caramel, praline, vanilla, butterscotch, etc. There is something there for every palette. The staff are wonderful and remember my name which makes me feel a lil special lol. The shop is clean, modern style, and the outdoor seating is gorgeous. All in all, this is a coffee shop that is worth the try. Given this place multiple chances. Bagels come out soggy from like a microwave, feel uncooked,they need to be toasted , asked for a drip coffee got an americano instead without any explanation. Not sure what's going on , the ice freezer they use to hold the ice for your ice coffees has a lose door that is falling on the floor and being put back without even cleaning it up first. Just stay inside and make sure you see your order being prepared. read more

I live in a food and beverage desert. When I stumbled across American Honey Creamery in Apollo Beach, I was hooked. A coffee place not Starbucks or Dunkin, within 30 minutes from where I live and close to the Apollo Beach Nature Preserve. This place became a lifeline when I had my child. A place we could go to get out and be outside but also keep a bit of a distance when they were young. The coffee is great and they have a few breakfast options, which is nice. read more

I like the ice cream and the staff is very pleasant (actually always!) but there is a area of a little inconsistency. I usually order a pint, and I check the freezer first to save everybody's time but usually I need to order it. I have seen some of the staff literally stuffing and pushing down as much ice cream as possible into the carton that I'm actually in awe and in totally appreciation and other times it's a 1/2" from the top? I love American Honey Creamery and I'm so glad they opened a 2nd location in Apollo Beach. The coffee is fantastic and the bagels are delicious. I just wish they didn't add unnecessary artificial color to some of their ice creams. The girls behind the counter are always so friendly and it's just such a happy vibe being there. The inside does get crowded at times, but outside has the cutest set up of chairs & seats to enjoy your coffee or ice cream. I've been there several times since opening and will continue to stop by for coffee when I'm in the area. Was greeted upon entry with a smile. Placed my order and waited as there were quite a few patrons ahead of me. Ice cream was good (Banana brûlée). Very good actually. Cake cone placed on bare countertop was bad. Very bad. No sleeve nor napkin, in case you were wondering. Not to mention seconds after a toddler entered that seemed to have zero restrictions and touching everything in sight was playing imaginary bongos in the same spot. Worst bacon egg and cheese on a bagel ever. Precooked microwaveable bacon, egg looked fake cheese was def microwaved. Everything in the sandwich was def microwaved and it was as dry as the desert. read more

If you are looking for a unique coffee/tea/ice cream experience, American Honey Creamery will check all your boxes! Aside from their very tempting menu items, the pumpkin spice latte is must have! The spice latte (hot- can I pretend it's fall?) is the BOMB!!! Not too sweet and full of spicy flavor. It's the real deal. Not syrupy at all like other coffee places we won't name! All of their beverages are original, HEALTHY, and couple that with their homemade ice cream, AHC is the most wholesome and authentic coffee shop place in AB. They only use fresh ingredients. So far, I love everything I have tried. This is the one place where tasting every beverage on the menu is a goal! Btw. Lots of room to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. I love the turf, the seating and the breeze hits just right. They actually want you to sit and enjoy yourself. This is one of Apollo Beach's best kept secrets and definitely one of my favorites!
