They had 5 people moving my furnitures just 3 minutes away to our new place. It took them all day to move a 4-bedroom house with a little bit of furnitures. They ruined most of my furnitures. A lot of them were chipped and damaged. Louie wanted me to pay more because it took them all day to move. It's not my fault his staff was slow. Another company would have done it half the time. He didn't even try to pay for the furnitures they damaged. I had to throw some furnitures. All the lady said was "I'm sorry". I picked them because they were cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. They have 2 young staff. They did something inappropriate in one of the bedrooms.. They thought they were being funny, but I was pissed at what they did. read more

Louie is the MAN. We needed a piano moved, and we needed it moved - fast. Initially I thought about asking family and friends to help, but moving it from one home to another, involving descending 13 concrete steps? Hmm, no. So called a couple moving companies but was given shockingly-priced estimates. Who knew moving a piano is SO expensive? Maybe call the family and friends back again? Not only was Louie's willing to accommodate our need for a quick move, their estimate came in at a couple hundred dollars less. Sold. A couple days later, having completed a heavy-equipment move for a Templeton winery, Louie called to let us know he and his team were on their way. When he arrived, he sized up how and through which doorways the piano needed to be moved out, then quickly, carefully - expertly - he and his team went about moving it. We were subsequently told that the piano's descent down the aforementioned 13 concrete steps into its new home took place without a hitch. Louie and his team handled our move expertly. Louie himself was professional and courteous, helped allay our fears about the piano arriving safely at its new location, and brought the whole experience in at a price well below the competition. We recently had to move my aunt from an assisted-living facility to a Board & Care home. Included in this move was a second stop to drop off her remaining household items that we could not include in her room at the new facility. Louie's Central Coast Movers did an excellent job! Communication with the office staff and getting an estimate was quick and easy. The staff there in the office was very communicative and helpful. The movers showed up on time & even texted me letting me know that they were arriving. I was told this company had lots of experience moving folks in and out of Merrill Gardens (a three story complex) and they did not disappoint. The movers were courteous and helpful, they shrink-wrapped the items that needed to be protected during the move. Nothing was broken. We had a new refrigerator delivered from a store and the company could not get out the old one from a second story and obviously not get the new one in. We had renters coming in the next day. Louie responded immediately and was able to boom the old one down over the outside balcony and boom the new one up. They were so careful and did such a super job. Wow! What a crew! We called yesterday and set up an appointment with the secretary. Today, Louie and his crew promptly showed up, and moved an EXTREMELY HEAVY pull-out sofa into our upstairs suite. He came by the house before making any promises, took some pictures, and measured everything to make sure he could get the job done. He offered a very reasonable price, then thoroughly padded the stairs and the piano before moving it, kept both 100% pristine. He even did a couple little cleanup items beyond the scope of work: re-leveled a sewing cabinet, plugged it in, and such. I inherited my mom's baby grand piano, but unfortunately it was up in the bay area 250 miles north. I explained my situation to Louie's and they said no problem! We met them in mom's driveway and they were very professional. They were super careful and delicate with the almost 100 year old piano. It was amazing to watch and they knew exactly what the were doing. They wrapped the piano in blankets and took extra care of loading it onto the truck. A couple of days later they delivered it to our home and they unloaded and set up the piano in the front room. They were very efficient and reasonably priced.
