Great selection, great service. We had ordered 25 Cabernet and Chardonnay plants at Moon nursery and prepaid. When we went to pick them up they only had 2 from our order because the guy forgot to order them. We called Louies and they had 12 plants. They put them aside for us. They saved us! We were so happy. Went there on a Friday afternoon. They were extremely busy. I had to circle their parking lot three times to even get a parking space. I went up to their register to ask about getting a Redbud tree and they seemed to have trouble getting someone to agree to help me. When someone did, we had to walk around to find where the trees were as he didn't know where they were and didn't know anything about the type of tree. He then excused himself to go help someone else and then never came back. I left and while I was walking out I got snippy with one of the managers, who didn't seem to care. read more

Love it! We drive over 30 miles to buy flowers, plants, pots, there are so many things for gardening. There is a big variety of plants and trees. They also have a pots in different colors, shapes and sizes at very reasonable prices. You can get milkweed for your butterflies and lady bugs for the milkweed. Awesome place! read more

I used to like this nursery a lot. I bought the David Austin roses last year. One of them died because of the fungus, and 2 have been very weak. I didn't return the died one. This year, I went back and bought 3 more on May 5th. I saw lots of powdery mildew on the plants. I told Mary, and she told me it was ok because she just sprayed the treatment. I went back on June 22 to return 2 out of 3 roses because there were still lots of powdery mildew and the plants didn't look good. Mary was upset and told me she could only give me a store credit. Why??? when I had the orginal receipt with me, and it said "90 day plant guarantee w/receipt. She added all roses were like that due to the weather. I said no, my roses were very healthy and didn't have powdery mildew. I was very upset and asked for my money back. I will never go back there again. They should have followed their return policy! Update: not Mary, but Jaime that shows on the receipt?? I messed up your names. There are 2 of ladies there. And, NO, I didn't return anything until last weekend. You must mistakenly me with another lady. I have been buying David Austin roses from your nursery since last year, and I didn't return anything until last Sat because those plants were very sick. When I first took my plants to return, you told me right away that you could only give me the store credit instead of refunding money to my credit card. Then you added my friend and I returned lots that WASN'T TRUE. I don't care about my friend or whoever, but I didn't until last weekend. Moreover, it is on your policy that you have to refund us within 90 days. I have one more very sick rose plant, but I don't even bother to go back to return. I won't go back again. read more

I been going to Home Depot and Lowe's looking for milkweed plant. They looked at me like I was speaking in different language. Call up Louie's and they very helpful and knowledgeable. I arrived and they very helpful. The Young lady at the cashier actually took me to location of the plant at the nursery. I would highly recommend the nursery. I had a great experience at this nursery today! It was my first visit, they had s huge selection of plants, pots and accessories. I bought a pot and a plant to go inside of it but there was no way I was going to be able to put it together myself! Such a fun place to visit! I went looking for some succulents and came back with that and a beautiful plumeria! There is so much to see, so many different varieties of plants and flowers. I went 2 days in a row because I just loved being there. Staff is great! Super helpful and knowledgeable. This is a place I will definitely be coming back to. On a milkweed quest. Found a Tuberosa that had aphids and whitish fungus? Everyone was very helpful except for an older lady at the counter. I asked if they had anything to get rid of these pests and she said aphids were good and wash the leaves off with water to get rid of the fungus. When I questioned her about that she said " You don't have to buy it. The other workers did not say anything and I could see this was probably a common practice. 5 freaking stars!!! I called Monday morning 1/21/19 and they advised me that sod would be in on Friday. I called on Friday and they told me it hadn't arrived yet, but they would call me and let me know when it arrived. They called me this morning saying the sod was here and I could pick it up. I went it and they were very friendly and helpful. They got my sod for my cat and got me some soil to keep it alive. read more

I love taking my daughter with me in the springtime to pick out flowers, veggie plants, and organic seeds for our ever expanding backyard garden. The staff is super helpful and the selection is almost overwhelming (in a totally good way). The only reason for four stars instead of five is that I would enjoy a larger organic vegetable section and heirloom selection. I was excited about this place because it's on my way home from work and I planned on stopping by frequently. I've been here twice... the first time was okay. I mainly look for tropical foliage and succulents/cacti and I left here with a few succulents. Their selection of succulents is kind of small and I didn't find any tropical plants I was looking for. I went here for a second time today and it wasn't very pleasant. A lot of their plants under the shade did not look healthy. I found an elephant ear plant which was something I was l looking for, but it only had about 4 leaves most of which were turning brown and was priced at 59$. The customer service is what bothered me. First, no one greeted me when I walked in and a few staff members just looked at me (one of my pet peeves). Then I was pulling a wagon with my items on it and a staff member was coming in my direction also pulling a wagon. The path was not big enough for both of us to pass by each other, and he obviously was not going to stop so I had to pull aside and let him pass... no "excuse me" or anything as he passed me but I thought to myself whatever not every man is a gentleman. Lastly, when I was checking out, the woman originally helping me had to answer the phone so another woman stepped in to help me. When I pulled my debit card out, I can't remember exactly what she said but something like "grab your receipt" and just walked away... No "thank you" or anything! I said thank you to her and no response. Not sure if she was the manager but I did see her in the back office when I was browsing the indoor section. In a time like this, it's important to support local businesses and I could've at least gotten a simple "thank you" for supporting this business. read more

We needed 3 shade trees for our backyard. After shopping around at several other nurseries we decided to purchase the trees from Louie's. Of all the nurseries I visited (MoonValley, Adam Halls, etc.) they had the best quality trees at awesome prices. Juanita and Mary were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were very patient with me, answering my 20+ questions. Once I arrived with my landscaper to pickup my purchase, their crew was extremely helpful in loading up the two - 24" box trees and one 36" box tree into our trailer.
