Called this afternoon to order a same day delivery bouquet, whole process was smooth and easy! The lady on the phone (sorry I'm forgetting the name) was super friendly and helpful! Told her how much I want to spend, what style I'm looking for and what colors to include! The whole phone call took less than 10 mins. 4 hours later my fiancée received the flower bouquet and absolutely loved the bouquet! I ordered a $70+ floral arrangement on Friday. The shop definitely charges top dollar for its flowers, but I noticed immediately the roses weren't the most fresh and showed signs of wilting on just the second day. I have been in the building for 23 years, and today I step into Louis Barry Florist store at 1 intl place. I waited 10 minutes while the lady at the store was talking on the phone, did not even had the courtesy to say to wait a moment while she was on the phone. Instead she went to a small office and she continue her conversation. 5 minutes later she came out of the office and she still saw me that I was still waiting she went back to the small office. It was then that I interrupted and asked her if the store was open to the public and she stated that it was and she will be back with me after she finish the call. Phalaenopsis. Phalaenopsis. Phalaenopsis. I love saying the name of this orchid over and over again. It is a beatuiful flower and the name makes me feel happy and tingly. Louis Barry is located in my work building and every morning I walk through the courtyard/lobby of One International Place and smile when I see the pretty flowers out on display. Sometimes I like to talk to the flowers, but I get strange looks from the fancy pants folks who stroll by. They are jealous of my flora connection. I utilized the services of LB for my Yelp Prom corsage. The staff was friendly and responsive as I excitedly explained that I was buying myself a corsage for an 80's themed prom. Bright Pink! That was my only request. It was ready and waiting for me as I escaped from work to rush home and put on my glitter for the big party. The flowers were beautiful on my wrist corsage. Five bright, bold pink roses with some greens and baby's breath on a silver wrislet. superb! It was 25 bucks, but I am worth it and the flowers are still fresh and smelling lovely now 5 days later. However, it was a hearty corsage and a little heavy for my miniature wrists. LB had some beautiful potted phalaneopsis on sale for half price. I would have purchased one, but I get more pleasure out of walking by each day and saying the name out loud. read more

My coworkers and I continue to have a terrible experience with Louis Barry Florist. We have frequently ordered flowers for various client meetings, however continue to have terrible interactions with their staff. Most recently, I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my office by 9am. At 9:30am, I called to inquire whether the delivery would be arriving soon. The woman I spoke with said there was no time on the order and the earliest they could deliver was 1.5 hours. She blamed me for not providing the delivery time information vs. taking responsibility for that fact that she or her staff did not record my time request. I asked if the order could be expedited and she hung up without any apology. In order to ensure the flowers arrived in time for the client meeting, I went to the florist to pick them up. When I arrived about 10 minutes after speaking with her on the phone, she said the order had gone out. I asked to confirm that they would be arriving at my office within the next 10-15 minutes. She responded with an attitude-filled "probably." No apology, no offering to call the driver to confirm status. Very shocking to me that a person with that much attitude and poor customer skills works in a flower shop. Owners should re-evaluate their staff and this particular woman should consider a non-public facing position if she has this strong of a dislike for customer service in such a lovely industry. read more

I wanted to send roses to my wife on our 15th anniversary. I liked the Orange roses with River Rocks shown on the website. Twelve foliage-free orange roses with river rocks arrive inside of a flared clear glass vase. I paid $25.00 extra for the DeLuxe option which according to the clerk, would add 6 more roses. I asked for just 15 premium roses, at the price, as that matched the number of years of the anniversary . The total of the bill came to $129.63. I eagerly anticipated an email from my wife as this was a total surprise for her,- something I had never done before. I got the message that she was pleased and surprised, but the image she sent me made me very disappointed. The item delivered looked NOTHING like the web image. Instead of a flared rectangular vase she received a round vase. Instead of the delicate orange roses shown in the image she received flowers that were apparently twice the size The web image shows the roses inside the vase and all at the same level. What I saw in the image from my wife's office was roses stuffed into a vase like some one was trying to push them down a garbage disposal! I immediately called the store and was told to complain and was told " we can't get the rectangular vase now" and "the flowers are bigger than we normally use." They clerk did not offer a refund of any kind, but did offer to replace the arrangement the following day with a "square" vase, and did warn me that the size of the flowers would not allow them to be fitted in the vase. This I accepted, and my wife was pleased with the second delivery. I was prepared to write this off to personal experience until Saturday when my wife informed that there were only FOURTEEN roses in the 1st shipment! Not good enough. And take that image off your webpage. If you can't supply the advertised item, don't take customers money, and then provide excuses. read more

I ordered a floral arrangement online for a co-worker because I see their store at One International all the time and the flowers look beautiful. However, I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am in what they delivered. The arrangement was supposed to look like a present (a cubed arrangement) for a birthday. What I got was a sloppy bunch of wilted flowers in a cube wrapped in the most hideous paper in the uggliest hot pink you can imagine and a tacky huge christmas bow on top. It looked nothing like the image they had online and just hideous. I was so embarrased about it that I threw the arrangement in the trash and never gave it to my co-worker. I could've gotten better at the grocery store. I paid $58 for an arrangment that probably has about 10 small flowers in it and $15 for delivery literally across the street from One International. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from there any more. I don't know if this was due to the fact that I ordered online and they don't really care but either way, I should've had something decent for that amount of money. read more

I can't say enough about what a great experience I just had with Louis Barry Florist! I had a hard time finding a florist to deliver flowers to my daughter's dorm rather than to the mailroom where I imagine they would sit for a day before my daughter received a notice that they were there to pick up. When the delivery arrived at the dorm the driver was told he needed to call my daughter as they could not be left unless she was there. He did and she wasn't as she was still in class, but he was so kind and said he would be back shortly . He returned and she received the beautiful arrangement! What incredible service with such kindness, not to mention the gorgeous flowers. I have found my Boston florist! read more

This has to be the worst florist I have ever ordered from. Okay were do I start I ordered a dozen roses for valentines day to be delivered to top of the hub and needless to say they weren't there so come to find out they lost my order and almost didn't give me my money back. My second order from them was my girlfriends prom corsage and once again they lost my order. So now I have to run around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get a corsage made with prom tomorrow night. read more
