As I commuted from upstate NY to central NJ for work, my day started at 6am. After 75% into my drive, my rear left tire blew out. I reluctantly drove 4 miles to the nearest STS tire shop, to have my tire replaced (there were other options, but given STS's breadth of inventory, I figured they would have my tires in stock). Dan and his team was helpful to educate me on my repair options and helped me get in and out of the shop as quickly as possible. After about an hour, I had two new tires installed. When I thought the dreadful day was over, I accidently locked myself out of my car. Dan first used creative ways to get me back into my car. When that failed, he offered to drive me back home (~ an hour away) to retrieve my spare key. Honestly, I have never met such a kind, generous and compassionate person at an auto shop, or at any other service center for that matter. Given that I was out of options, I took Dan on his offer. And when I tried to remunerate him, he politely declined. Needless to say, I am extremely GRATEFUL. I cannot thank him and his colleagues enough at STS. Again, Thank you!

That in itself is beyond worth it in terms of the experience. The transparency is what I value most. I had requested a tire rotation. I feel like most places, especially when they are busy, would just rotate the tires and call it a day. In this case, I was told they would not rotate my tires because my 2 back tires were super worn and wearing unevenly which would not be a benefit to my car if I rotated them. They made their recommendations and were not pushy at all about what I did or did not do for that matter. They told me they honor their estimates for 30 days (if memory serves me right) and that I could call ahead any time if I wanted to do any of the repairs that were not done then. I love the attention to detail too. I had come in right around Halloween so they left me some candy in the car when they were done! You know I will be back!
