Instead of trying to help, they rushed through interactions and made me feel unwelcome. I had to repeat myself multiple times, and they still didn't listen carefully. Three years ago my SUV broke down in Phillipsburg. They towed it to Rossnagle's for an alternator and an axle. It took three hours for labor to fix it. The alternator went again and although it was like pulling teeth to get an answer, the part is covered under a lifetime warranty. The dude quoted another 3 hours for labor. That's bullshit. This place thinks women know nothing about vehicles. Rossnagle's sees an easy to make $$$ of us. Even the most complex alternators take 1-2 hours to replace. Take your vehicle elsewhere. read more

I hit a deer on Rt 57 on a Saturday after 10pm. I called AAA and they dispatched a towing company. I called the local police to look for a suggestion where I could bring the car since I could not do anything until Monday. Although I told the police I already called AAA and they were on their way, he called Rossnagle's. They came, rushed me away from the scene and took my car. When I called them on Monday they said they didn't have my car. This went on for 3 hours. When they finally agreed they had it they charged me 316.00 instead of using my AAA. After arguing back and forth I had to pay to get my car released since they were holding it hostage and would continue to charge me if it wasn't removed. I called the police and they stated I shouldn't have been charged. This company committed extortion, plain and simple. read more

Awful experience! I used AAA to tow my car there because it was a AAA repair shop. I was told I would get a discount and a call once my car arrived. I never got a call. I had to call 3 days in a row and was told they would be looking at it soon. I then called again on Monday afternoon and once again was given a vague update. The man became rude when I kept asking questions. He then told me to go to another shop because it sounded like I would not be satisfied. Do not use this shop! Our vehicle broke down near this AAA-rated service station. So when the wonderfully helpful (seriously) tow truck driver suggested he tow it to Rossnagle's, we agreed. Two weeks and two days later, they finally put the car on a lift to diagnose what was wrong. No phone calls or updates; we had to keep checking in with them. In the future, we'd use the towing service again but can't recommend the service center. read more

But then cancelled on us after waiting 45 minutes on their arrival which is almost the hour they claimed to have arrived by. This place saved the day! I was driving in torrential rain on a Saturday in heavy traffic when my DRIVER side wiper blade broke and popped off. I had my kids in the car as well, driving back to Ohio from NYC. I called and 30 minutes later my car was on the back of the tow truck. We arrived at the garage and fortunately replacement blades were in stock. Very friendly reception, waiting area and service. I've had nothing but great experiences with rossnagles, as an owner of three cars i trust only them to do an exceptional job and a trustworthy price. I was quoted way over what they charged me by other service stations. I was told my car would take a week, it was ready the next day and ran wonderfully. I have not been back since but if i ever have another problem with a vehicle i will certainly give them my business. I also found out the last time i was there that the police station uses them for all vehicle repairs. I have to say I went to Rossnagle's because their AAA towing service helped me out a couple of times and their guys are very considerate and helpful, truly service oriented. I decided to use their garage and was nervous about it because obviously not all garages are trustworthy. I must say they really helped me in my time of need and were willing to accommodate me because of my circumstances having only one car and needing it for work. They rescheduled other less urgent repairs for mine and even charged less than the quote. For this I do recommend them as a good garage and will plan to go back to do the repairs I myself am not equipped to do. I am glad I found a good garage. read more

If you want damage to your car go to rossnagles they damaged my oil pan and tried toblame it on me. We went to court and they favored them. I feel sorry for deals with them. They are not honest when they cause damage.when ever they tow your car always take picture of how they tow your car .they used tow truck on mine and in court they said they used flat bed truck.they bounced my car from east on to pburg and tow bar cracked oil pan. On Jan 2nd I was at a local WAWA in Pohatcong NJ, filling my tire with air when the clip that holds the valve stem in place was damaged. The car had a slow leak and I attempted to drive the car the 1/2 mile home. But as I got to the first stop sign about 200 yards away, I realized the pressure was dropping to fast. I decided to play it safe, pulled over and called AAA. The tire went flat while stationary at the sign. At first Triple AAA had ordered a Tow from Washington Twp. I had it changed to Rossnagle's for I knew they were much closer and dealt with their tow drivers in the past. (As far as the tow guys are concerned they are very good.) I live within 3 miles of them. They have done some minor work on my cars in the past and I had no complaints. I told the tow driver that it was the stem that was broken, and was assured that they would take care of it the next day. The only time the car was driven with the flat was the few feet it took to get it on their flat bed. The next day I called and was surprised when the mechanic told me the tire was ruined from being driven on, the tire pressure sensor was broken, and a lug nut was striped. At first I thought the mechanic had his cars confused, but after discussion he assured me he was correct. I told him not to do the repair and just put the spare on the car as the tires were fairly new and I had hazard insurance on them. The mechanics description of the damaged bothered me knowing the condition the tire was in when I left it with the tow driver. I told my wife something wasn't right, and that something happened to the tire in the lot for the tire to be as damaged as the mechanic described. Either way it wasn't worth getting into a debate with them. Just get the car and I'll bring it back where I got the tires. When my wife goes to get the van, the mechanic comes out and proceeds to again tell her the tire is ruined from being driven on the highway, and so on. 15 minutes of BS. Completely ignoring her as she tried to relay the facts that the car was not on a highway but in a parking lot and never driven on. My wife calls me informing me what happened with the mechanic, and by this time I'm thinking that when I see this tire it's going to be bad. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the tire and there was not so much as a scuff mark on the sidewalls. No damage whatsoever. I brought the tire back to my regular repair guy who inspected the inside of the tire and he too doesn't see any problems, BUT the tire sensor in not in the tire at all. My mechanic now explains that the sensors can be repaired with a valve replacement kit, depending where the break occurs. But with nothing to work with he would have to order a new sensor from Chrysler. I called Rossnagles trying to find out where the sensor was. The original mechanic got back on the phone and told be it was broken into pieces and had fallen out of the "hole in the sidewall" from being driven on. Again I couldn't believe we were talking about the same car... The guy was just defensive and augmentative and left me with no other choice to conclude he was either incompetent or just looking to screw who he believed to be the next guy passing through on 78. Now I can understand if there was damage and it was a matter of a difference of opinion as to whether or not the tire was still serviceable, and again after talking to them the first time I figured it was either driven on at the shop or something happened coming off the flat bed. But NO DAMAGE? How the hell can you reconcile that? Not returning the sensor / the remaining "pieces" or mentioning he took it out just made matters worse. I have nothing to gain by claiming the tire is good when it isn't, as I stated earlier I have the hazard insurance, but being left feeling I'm being played isn't going to fly. Not only did they have my car for a day, waste my time, insult my intelligence, but now I'm beat for a additional $100.00 for a sensor I probably didn't need. If you are stuck on 78 and need a hook, Rossnagles will do a good job towing. JUST HAVE IT TOWED ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

My opinion is that the owner is horrible, not just unprofessional, service lacks and repair was $400 more than local franchise that provides excellent service. While scheduling towing, said repair could be done right away; after they had the car in their possession, they kept it for the weekend and the following Monday! Employee did not finish repair on car, but they said it was done. When I found damage done to the engine because of this within the week, I drove back to speak to the owner. When I said that the repair was not completed and showed him the part that I had to have repaired locally by another AAA facility, he yanked it out of my hands, called me names, insulted me, yelled at me and insisted it wasn't possible. His behavior really frightened me. I called AAA immediately, but they would not call to check on the situation while they could see how he was behaving. I chose him because of on the AAA approved list, but AAA won't do anything to resolve the matter, after details in writing were submitted, nor will they pull him off the list. I have since heard he has a very bad reputation amongst other dealers and consumers. read more
