If I could give zero stars, I would. I left this store feeling judged, unwelcome, and heartbroken--and no one should ever feel that way while shopping. I've bought two bags here. My first visit was fine, but during my second, I was treated completely differently--like I didn't belong. It felt like the staff only showed kindness to those who looked wealthy. The judgment was obvious and painful. My son was recording me on his phone, just capturing a special moment. An associate approached us rudely and completely ruined his joy. The manager even asked a sweet associate, Asiah, to move us away because I was "taking pictures"--I wasn't. I was showing her a product from their website. Moments later, a white woman stood in the same spot, and they didn't move her. This isn't about luxury bags. It's about how people are treated--with dignity, or without it. Asiah B. was the only one who treated us with kindness. If you choose to shop here, ask for her. She made me feel seen. Please don't judge people by how they look. I was given my Louis Vuitton bag a few years ago as a Christmas gift and it has since started to crack. I was told there was a warranty on all bags, but when I went to the store the warranty was for leather only, not canvass. So those of us with monogrammed bags are out of luck. Disappointing when thousands are spent on a bag only to not offer any type of warranty. read more

Wandered in with my husband to show him some suggestions for this Christmas ... A lovely sales woman introduced herself, informing us of what was located in each of the rooms here. I told her about a purse I loved at the King of Prussia store and she brought it out for me to look at. We didn't make any purchases but this has to be the nicest salesperson we have ever met. This review is about the service. In high end boutique stores, the staff are often quite snooty. They tend to be judgmental and decide if a customer doesn't look like they can afford an item, they won't buy and hence it's a waste of their time. They won't treat the potential customer with respect and be very dismissive. I've seen this enough times at a variety of different boutiques. This place is the complete opposite. The staff here are super nice and very respectful. They pay attention to everyone who comes in the store. I love that! They don't look down at anyone, even if it's teens wanting to have some fun. Because why can't they have some fun? I've had the pleasure of coming here a few times and the staff have been wonderful to me each and every time. My first time in this boutique store and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I had to wait for about forty minutes to enter and was texted on my phone. The staff are very nice non judgmental and friendly. The whole experience was pleasant and enjoyable. I was on a mission for a special gift which I secured within minutes and the staff answered my questions. The store is beautiful with a nice selection of bags, wallets, sunglasses shoes etc. Of course, branding is plastered all over the products because apparently that's what people want. If that's what you are into then this is your spot. As we were leaving, a long line had formed outside the door. Never felt so mistreated in this store like ever before. I was standing there waiting to see, and purchase, the gray bag, the CarryAll Dark MM, that was in the main room. Both sales associates at the counter, not helping anyone mind you, never stopped to ask if I needed help at all. One of them said I would helped shortly...10 minutes later still no help. They put you in a wait list and make you sit around to be helped which is just ridiculous! I have been in plenty of high end stores and never had to go on a waitlist. I wouldn't go back and I wasn't the only one that walked out annoyed. They definitely need to work on customer service. read more

I had a great experience here today! Clayne was so incredibly helpful while I was making my first luxury purchase! I came in on a mission and knew exactly what I wanted, but I still poked around for a bit to check out everything this store has to offer. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the store was spotless! Everything is displayed just so and the lighting is perfect to showcase all of the pieces. Clayne grabbed the bag I chose to let me inspect it and then promptly went and packaged it up. My transaction went smoothly and the bag I chose was wrapped up so beautifully that I didn't want to unwrap it at home! He even made sure to grab the door for me on my way out! I'm sure I'll be in again because not only do I love the pieces, but the service here is incredible! Great job! *edit* I just unwrapped my bag and found a note from Clayne inside! I decided to take a trip downtown to see if they had the Toiletry Pouch 19 or 26 in stock. These items are like trying to spot a unicorn. I don't think I've been in this location since around Christmas. I only saw one Sales Associate when I entered. She was with a customer so I browsed around the store a bit. While this location isn't large, they offer a nice selection of merchandise. When I went back to the front, a gentleman was standing behind the counter and he asked if I needed assistance. While they did not have the items I was looking for, he offered to check when the next shipment will be. The next shipment was coming tomorrow!...ugh!!!...How I wish I didn't have to come back downtown. He was kind enough to offer his card and he told me I could call tomorrow to see if any came in for sure/if they are sold out before I drove back. The young lady at the door with her pad and nose in the air was just a complete turn off to the brand. I'm not sure why upscale stores are doing the most disservice to loyal customers. I needed to buy quickly one small item for a dear friend it would at most taken 5 minutes. But her response was simply I can give you an appointment tomorrow evening it this rude ways. There is no way in the world I would drive 15 miles the next day, find parking to buy an item for less than 1k after being spoken to like gum on her shoe. In my reviews you will see other locations I've given 5 stars too so I'm not a one off customer. I'm no more important than the next person. But this was utterly disappointing. read more

It was terrible... we had to wait in line because they had restrictions on the number of people in the store at one time. Which is fine, totally understandable. Except, we were told the wait was 15 mins. Nope! More like 1 hour! And the most frustrating part was no one was paying attention to the tally of people. You'd see 7 people walk out and no one would go in... and so on. Worst part, after aaaaall the wait... we get to the front..... so tired, but still excited... we get inside and the stock was horrible. I walked by a few purses and heard the sales girl say "this is our purse selection". Moving into the next room preparing to see much more.... I say "is that it!?" Visited this store two weeks ago and was promptly greeted even though client advisors were all helping customers. I only had to wait about five to ten minutes before a CA was available. This gave me time to browse the beautiful displays and narrow down the handbags I had in mind. Tiana was the CA who helped me finalize my decision. I worked with Melanie 2 weeks ago. She was annoyed to help. She lied on timing and shipping of a purse to make a sale and did not provide her direct contact number. This was to be my 3rd LV purchase and I have never had an experience before with LV like this; and definitely never with Chanel, Gucci, or Saint Laurent. Despite saying I was still going to be on vacation and confirm the timing of my return she said it would be no issue and I could change online the UPS signature required (you can not unless the sales associate allows this). The purse arrived while I was still on vacation. It was returned to sender. I was unable to call this location directly. I've spoken with 8 different people; provided the UPS tracking that shows it was returned (confirmed they see it too); and still no return call to get my purse either resent or refunded. I have waited 96+ hours. I have spent over 5 hours on hold and calling. I am out 3k with no purse and no way to get it for I need to hear from this sales associate and store. To say I am extremely frustrated is an understatement. I would be extremely weary of shopping at this LV location and with that sales associate - I would strongly advise not too. read more

I enjoy shopping at Louis Vuitton Charleston at Charleston Place. It is fun to look at all of the cool accessories and other items they have on display and see them all in one place. I really like the design and the way this store is organized with different spaces and rooms and how all of the different items are categorized and displayed. I am selective on the items I have purchased here for gifts so it is good to be able see everything in person and touch and see it. The staff here is very helpful and accommodating in being able to help you and answer any questions you may have. I have had a positive experience here every time I have shopped here and it is always worth coming in here to see it all. read more

I love this store and while I usually give the other locations of Louis Vuitton four stars compared to the Flagship on the Champs-Élysées at 5 stars, THIS store will remain near and dear for giving me my FIRST true Louis experience. Thank YOU! Lauren was my Sales Associate (SA) for a couple of years and she left but every time I come in, the SAs are friendly, warm, kind, and helpful. When I graduated and I wanted to buy my first bag, I called my fellow lover of luxury, one of my sorority sisters, and we made a trip downtown. She wanted a Gucci bag, so we went there first and they were so rude that we shortly left and headed to Louis. When we arrived, we were prompted greeted, we told her which handbags we were interested in and she informed us of which bag would be best for our frames and which sizes. We finally settled on two different bags and we got matching Bandeaus to commemorate the event. SO cheesy I know but I like what I like. We have since loved our bags 5 years later and drop into the store when we need/want something nice. I have brought two other friends for their first experience there too and they have been happy customers. We were downtown and the wife wanted to get our daughter a new bag so we stopped by to see what was new. We were greeted by Emily who is really nice and extremely helpful. She showed us what was new and we explained what we were looking for. She pulled out a few items for us to check out and also offered us some bottled water since it was a pretty hot day. We explained we wanted our daughter to choose what she liked and she would be coming shortly. Emily took it in stride and was understanding and super patient with us. Shortly after arriving our daughter looks at what we have selected and tell Emily she is looking for a cross body bag and not anything we have laid out. Good thing we had her come down to select her bag. Emily knew exactly what she would want and after showing her the cross body bag my daughter said I love it and we headed for the register. We have been to several LV stores and this one is standout. Very stores we had been to they were impatient and kind of snooty. The Charleston location is by far the worst LV I have ever shopped at. I visited in late April 2021. They did not have the Dauphine MM in stock, which I understand and is not an issue. My displeasure lies with the deplorable behavior of the SA. She was dismissive and not helpful in any way. When I asked if I could order the bag she told me it would depend on my purchase history, then proceeded to try to sell me something I didn't want. I asked if she could take my information and notify me when one came in stock, but never heard from her again. Based on the behavior of this SA (who shall remain nameless out of courtesy) I will not shop with LV in the future. I went to Chanel in Atlanta a couple of weeks later, received excellent customer service and was able to purchase one of the CF's I was looking for. The second one was unavailable in the color/ hardware I wanted, but the excellent SA contacted me within a week and had the bag for me. That is the difference in a true luxury shopping experience. LV is ranking somewhere with Michael Kors these days, except that MK probably has much better SA's. read more

Rude! Greeted by door person. Took my cell number to call me when to come back to shop. They txted my phone, I was in Gucci store just a few doors down. I promptly showed up at LV, the greeter said I arrived too late and I would need to get back on a wait again. They are not logical! I waited 20 minutes and followed their protocol. They would not consider that they could possibly be wrong. Never again! I will never give this brand another dime if these are the people they think should represent their name. Almost a year later and I'm happy to update my review of the Louis Vuitton store in Charleston. Although I vowed to never go back, I just am too loyal to LV and can never stay away when I'm in town. Anyways, I've been back a couple of times and have been very impressed. Their client advisors (and store manager) have been more than friendly, and I've even developed a relationship with one of their client advisors (Trisha). She's awesome and helped me score a total unicorn bag that I'd been clamoring over for months. Just be carful when you buy a item that isn't in stock, don't let then ship it to your house, just pick the item up at the store. This is actually one of the best Louis Vuitton stores I've been to. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by Clayne, (the client advisor). He gave us a little history on the classic Louis Vuitton trunks. The store is small but they have a lot of merchandise. I looked at a couple of bags and Clayne was very helpful. He wasn't pushy at all. We actually had no intention on buying anything, it was my moms birthday, so we were just browsing. I ended up purchasing a few things thanks to Clayne. When he wrapped up our items, he also included a birthday card for my mom. I would definitely return to this location! read more

"Fake News" When I read several of the reviews inference to the sale associates at The Louis Vuitton store in my town I was appalled. I have never had a problem at that location. I am always greeted with respect and kindness from all the associates. I am under the assumption that people become angered because they have used the bag and want their accounts credited or cash back. It doesn't work that way people. When you purchase a luxury bag use common sense and return it within fourteen days and do not use the bag. It's your property when you take ownership and walk out the door. It's just like buying a new car and you decide that you don't want the car, and you pay cash for it and you can't get the full retail value. Why shop at the store if your going to report fake news about these lovely ladies and gentlemen. Abby is sweet and you must have a serious problem to say people don't have a life. Do you??? The Manager of the store is a racist. I will go to the local news to report her. Recently spent 2600.00 in the store and had the worst experience. Tam whatever her name is she is racist and only cares about a sale. will make sure blacks don't shop there. I purchased several items from the store which i was happy about however the manager knew that one of the items i purchased which was the wallet i was not really sure i wanted because i wanted the zippy. she assured me that it would be no problem returning if i wanted to as long as it was within 30 days. NEVER DID she say not to put my card in the wallet, which i only had my card in it for like a couple of days. i would never have purchased it if i knew i could not return. she dropped the ball in advising such. i returned to the store only to be told nothing she can do nor did LV client services help. no one cares about my first time experience so i will not say anything nice about the store and i will tell everyone i know about the fact that it was a horrible experience. i planned on purchasing more but not after this experience. Out of 2600.00 she could not even let me get store credit to purchase something else. the only reason i wanted to return is because my husband got me the zippy a couple of days later for Christmas. I am still upset that this lady works in customer service because she only cares about herself. i have included pictures of this 545.00 wallet that i cannot use nor return, even though the policy shows the only thing you cannot get a refund for is the watch or jewelry. 6. We just stopped by to look around my wife Karen has had a Louis Vuitton purse that I bought her a few years back. There was a few cracks that had developed on the edge of the purse so we were looking to replace . The sales associate noticed the cracked and immediately told us that Louis Vuitton stands behind their bags and we could get full credit for a new one. We are standing there blown away like we hit the lottery! My wife leaves with a new bag that we slightly upgraded. I can't say enough about this store and the customer service we received. Had such a good experience at this location! When visiting Charleston, I really wanted to purchase a memorable gift since they have a Louis Vuitton store in Belmont Charleston. My best friend and I stopped in and were greeted by this lovely sales associate (So sorry I forgot your name, but will update when I find my receipt). She was really sweet and showed me the pieces that I was thinking about, even thought I was being super indecisive. We ended up putting one of hold so I could think about it, and came back the next day since we were about to leave Charleston. She was there the next day and was great like before.
