Always stop for this store. It is a nice size store and the staff is amazing here. It is on the second floor of the mall. They have a lot of the latest items and a nice selection. If you need engraving on your purchase they have the machine right out on the floor and can do all the engraving you need pretty fast. Just a tip for those who travel internationally . Louis Vuitton has engraved stamps for each country so if you buy a passport holder you can go to a store in another country and stamp your passport holder just like a passport. The wife had purchased one last time and she can't wait to do it when we hit another country this year. Just an added perc to shopping with the brand. I'm a huge LV lover so I have no complaints when looking around the store. They had a nice selection of bags that I haven't seen in CA. Sales tax is 4% and most items are $15 and even up to less than $300 off. I'll be back next time and get something time stamped with Hawaii on it. We stopped by Louis Vuitton in Wailea in search of a specific belt my husband was looking for. The client advisor assisted us in bringing out so many belts from the back and let him try on a variety of them to see what size is the best fit for him. Fortunately, we know what size fits him best but unfortunately, the store did not have the exact size in the style he preferred. We were in town doing a bit of shopping during a birthday trip to the island and my love interest insisted I got a new belt. We came to the shopping center with plenty of parking, super clean and lively area in Wailea, making it so easy to flow from store to store. Louis vuitton was at the top of the list of places to go and I believe they were fixing a new location but the store front we visited was still pristine. We looked around and were approached by a young gentleman that asked if we needed help in a kind and professional manner. He showed us a few belts, even some that were not on display and helped find the item I needed. Something sleek yet subtle. Stylish and not too gaudy for my liking. The game ball goes to this gentleman, named Gian. He also showed us a few wrist wear accessories that I will definitely be buying very soon, unfortunately at a different store but we hope to have the same wonderful experience at the closer location for us. All of my Louis Vuitton purchases have been from the Ala Moana Center location as it's more fun to purchase them while on vacation! This time, however, I wanted to see a bag I've been researching online in-person. I popped in prior to having dinner at nearby Lineage. My current bag is a Tumi messenger bag that's about 10 years old. It held up wonderfully sans for one of the zipper pulls that fell off and replaced by a paperclip (hey, it's shiny and matches the chrome accents, LOL) and part of the plastic piping that lines the opening flap is cracked from usage. ATMOSPHERE: Located in the Shops At Wailea, it's Maui's second location (the first is at Whaler's Village in Ka'anapali). Compared to the boutique on the west side, this one is a bit fancier due to being newer but it's nothing compared to the beautiful 2-level Ala Moana Center location nor the flagship behemoth in Paris on the Champs-Élysées. There aren't any vintage trunks on display, which only adds to the appeal of your purchase. But on the upside, it's not as busy either so you do get very attentive service. THE GOODS: Avenue Sling Bag (Damier Graphite Canvas) - $1,700.00 LV does sell a messenger bag but it's so small that it looks like a women's bag, bleh. The Avenue Sling is a modern take on the traditional backpack. A lot smaller than I wanted (can't even fit my iPad in it) but looks so sharp. I decided to think it over dinner but came back to purchase it a few minutes later. Unfortunately the display model was the only one in stock (and the only one in the state) so I declined. My name is on a callback list if one ever shows up. SERVICE: Yumiko was terrific. Friendly and professional; definitely going back to see her when the time comes. FUN FACTS: The Damier Canvas (checkerboard in French) is the only pattern sold today that was designed by Louis Vuitton himself (along with his son Georges) in 1888, that covered his beautiful trunks. Every pattern after that, including the most recognized Monogram Canvas, was designed by his descendants. A vintage trunk in Monogram Canvas can be seen up close at the Ala Moana Center store. Look closely and you'll see why it was called "canvas" as the deteriorating coating of intertwined LV initials and geometric shapes gives way to exposed cotton fibers underneath. Extremely cool! While some products are made of real leather, today's "canvas" pieces are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which is lightweight, supple and waterproof. Yes, plastic! Purchasing a Louis Vuitton piece in Hawaii will afford you about a 10% discount for some reason. The Avenue Sling retails for $1,900 online and the rest of the planet. I recently purchased a Slender Wallet in Damier Graphite for $430, while the online price was $479. OVERALL: Frivolous fun with a historical backing. read more

We visited this LV location twice during our recent Wailea vacation, and had tremendous experiences each time. The first visit was to acquire a purse, and the salesperson (dark short hair with glasses - I wish I had gotten her name) was extremely and genuinely cordial and highly professionally, going the extra yard to make the experience very memorable for my wife. I even got a glass of sparkling wine while I waited! The second visit was to purchase some perfume my wife sampled during our first visit, and again the service was impeccable and friendly. I came here already with intentions on purchasing a purse but was already met with a dissatisfied look from the asian lady at the front door on 9/10/24. Immediately she looked at my coach purse and felt profiled right off the bat. I asked if they had a specific purse in stock and she looked at me like i was stupid because it was a spring collection. Walked around while she looked on her ipad then didn't even walk all the way to where i was standing and began to tell me they don't have it ... she is saying this from across the room. I'd been ordering handbags and wallets online. Never actually been into the store myself. However, the latest handbags on my wishlist are ALWAYS out of stock. So, we're out cruising around at the Shops at Wailea after a day at the beach and awaiting our dinner reservation. I stumbled by this store and usually I'm pretty shy/intimidated to even go in a LV store especially the ones on the Bay Area CA. The hostess here was sweetly smiling and greeted me. I thought, what the heck, nothing to lose. So she put my name down and within 20 minutes or so, I received a text saying they were ready for me. I was sent over to Kristel Keisa who greeted me with a smile and she asked me what it was I was looking for. I asked for something with the bandolier for convenience. I also shared with her that on my wishlist is the Monogram Pochette Métis. However, it was always sold out online. And, within the last week, the prices went up and I thought I'd never be able to get it. Kristel said she may have it in the shipment coming in that day and she'd find out within the hour. She reviewed her list of the few items that were arriving and there it was, the bag with my name on it. She highlighted the handbag on her list, put my name on it and my phone number to text me if it arrives. I paid for it before leaving and mentioned to her if it comes, awesome! If not, no worries. Just wasn't meant to be. And I'll get my refund. When she charged me, the price was what it was before the latest increase and the taxes/excise fees were only ~4.12%. I was thrilled to know this. I felt like I hit the jackpot! Kristel made me feel so welcomed and valued as a customer start to finish. If I experienced customer service provided by women like Kristel, I wouldn't feel so shy or afraid to roam luxury goods and purchase them. I'd continue to be the secret online shopper and never really get what I have longed for. Well, right after we completed our dinner...I received a text from Kristel that my Pochette Métis arrived!!! My lovely husband made a U-Turn and took me back to LV to pick it up. As soon as I got there, the awesome hostess sent me straight back to Kristel. Such sweet people and a wonderful purchase, indeed! I was helped prior by a woman who, let's be honest, could work on her attitude (maybe it was because I wasn't buying anything from her) but throughout the whole process, Casey's customer service was 100%. All my future purchases will be from him. * Apparently, they've been open since March 2020 (so most of the pandemic). So far, they're good about limiting people inside at once and offer hand sanitizer at the front. The Shops of Wailea site says they open at 11 am on a Saturday, but their store sign says 10, so perhaps call prior? I took my wife and 3 friends here, and the staff literally ignored us, for whatever reason. And when we asked questions that came off annoyed, but the service they were giving someone else made me laugh at how ignorant they looked to me. My wife, who has Louis V bags, was explaining to her friend how a clasp works, the attendant made a sly comment about the price and at that point my wife wanted to leave. We literally went next door and browsed at Prada (Low inventory), Gucci (Great service and great inventory), and Bonneta Venega (think I spelled that right, but same as Gucci with inventory and service) and bought bags from BV and Gucci. In BV we were given champagne and sparking water while she selected the bags she wanted, and was treated like a human being. Gucci sold our friends bags, but wifey said she has too many of those.....if LV keeps it up all it takes is one person to record their actions and clear discriminatory practices to cause a major stir. read more

You cannot go wrong with Louis Vuitton for top notch merchandise that's incredibly well-made, fashionable, and long lasting. Pair that with outstanding and gracious customer service (thanks to Miki!), and you have a five star experience. Being a huge LV fan and always looking to add to the collection, it was impossible to miss a stop upon seeing this store at the elegant Shops at Wailea complex. We had heard a rumor that LV Hawaii prices are lower than mainland prices, but we thought it too good to be true. Fortunately, the rumors are true! Miki explained that LV Hawaii is independent from the mainland. The item we selected was $780 in the Hawaiian store vs $855 on the mainland. That, combined with Hawaii's low sales tax rate (about 4%), made this a steal! The store is on the smaller size, but Miki explained that before visiting the island next time we can call or email her. She can then find any items we are looking for and have them at the shop at Hawaii prices! She graciously offered champagne to sip while considering different items and could not have been more awesome. The first LV wallet I bought about 10 years ago is still in excellent shape (although retired in favor of a newer item), so the quality of the product is excellent. Then a store associate checked out if the the most wanted bag was in the upcoming shipment, and it was there! While on vacation, I told my boyfriend we have to stop by since I heard the LV bags here are somewhat cheaper than the ones on the mainland. In Hawaii, sales tax is 4 % while in Cali it is 7.25 %. It makes a huge difference since you can save a couple of hundreds on your purchase. This LV store is located in the shops at Wailea which is in close proximity to the Andaz Maui Resort which we stayed at. Upon entrance, we looked around and were greeted by Irene who helped us with the purse I was looking for. She provided great customer service and I was able to purchase the purse of my dreams for now lol..I love how she packaged my purse and she gave me a sample of the LV perfume. At the LV store in the Bay Area, I feel like the sales associates can be snobby and judgmental especially if your not dressed nice. Moreover, most LV stores also have a mean muggin security guard but not this store which is surprising but I guess they have a more laid back vibe. We visited LV soon after my 1st purchase and were lucky enough to be helped by Irene again. My boyfriend purchased a wallet for his friend which was around $330. A tale of two Louis'. My first visit to to this LV was in May '19. I believe we had two visits to this location on that trip. Neither were memorable but on the second trip we were able to locate a bag my wife had her eye on that she missed out on from Lahaina store. The associate who helped us (let's call her "Karen") wasn't warm or engaging, just the typical going about her day in the way she assisted us. This last trip in the COVID era took place this week. After waiting for them to open their doors at 12pm we stopped by and gave our name and number to be notified when it was safe to visit. About 10 minutes later I received my SMS and we headed over. We were greeted warmly but quickly escorted over to the women's section. They didn't ask why we were there initially and no one was on the men's side of the store. Truth be told my wife was looking for a particular wallet but we were really there for me. It took a few moments but I realized the associate assisting us was the same "Karen" who assisted us the year prior. I asked for two specific bags by name, she didn't know what I was talking about. Now I don't expect you to know the name of every single product LV sells, especially when it comes to men's bags when you're primarily selling ladies handbags and purses all day. But don't make the customer feel like they don't know what they're talking about when they call out a bag by name. Truth be told since the previous trip I had been narrowing down which messenger bags I wanted and knew which products to ask for. "Karen" was able to locate one of the bags, though it wasn't the one I was interested in (Roman PM). When I informed her I was looking for the blue one she kept insisting I wouldn't be interested in that one ("Are you sure? It's blue?"). Yes, I know it's blue I've been staring at that bag periodically over the past several months and felt confident that was the one! "Karen" wasn't very helpful with my wife either. We asked to view a few specific pieces but she wasn't forthcoming with what other colors were available and trying to locate them for us. Basically if it wasn't in store it didn't exist is how she made us feel. As my wife was looking at a few items I noticed there was NO ONE in the back corner near the bags I wanted to see. So I slowly made my way over there. Now everyone that was in the store was on the left side as you enter. We were not 6' apart from other customers. As I'm glancing at the mens bags, maybe for 30 seconds another associate comes up to me and asks me to return to my party, even though no one was on this side of the store. What frustrated me even more was when "Karen" came over to fetch me she didn't inquire if there was something specific I'd like to see. She wasn't helpful in the least. I was so frustrated at this point I was ready to walk out and leave my wife there, but I waited a few more moments, my wife saw the look in my eyes and made an excuse for our departure. We then headed back to Lahaina where we visited the LV at Whalers and hand an extraordinarily different experience. An experience that was so positive I ended up purchasing a few pieces I had not even thought about. We left with my order for the Roman PM (w/signature), my new Alpha Wallet (yes "Karen", you do carry a few bags with the Alpha name), 2 purses for my wife, a key holder/bag charm, and a silk wrap for the bag my wife purchased in '19. I doubt I will return to this LV again, I prefer to do all my business with the Lahaina store. It's obvious this is a job to "Karen" and she doesn't really enjoy what she does. If management wants to contact me to learn "Karen's" real name happy to do so, I'm not going to call her out in a review. read more

I've done business with LV Wailea in the past. My past two recent visits have not been very welcoming. The staff are a bit rude, VERY unfriendly and not helpful at all. They also have a extremely low inventory. The lady Sarah who was "kinda" helping me pulled every drawer open to see what inventory was available and every drawer was empty! Basically what you saw on display was what they had for sale and that was not much to chose from. I asked when they would be getting new inventory in and her response was "soon, but we don't know what we are getting". I find that hard to believe that they don't have a manifest of incoming inventory, especially fir a shop very, very low on inventory! I was given the option to order online, but not ever seeing the purse made that not a option! Staff needs to work on being more helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and inviting! read more

Sabrina was awesome! When walking in it didn't look like they had that much in inventory, I was looking for a specific bag the Siena PM. I asked Sabrina if they had any in stock, she was able to look at the inventory that was coming in their shipment for the day and they had the Siena MM. I was a little hesitant to have her take my information to come back and try it on once the shipment was in since the MM looks big online (which it wasn't as big as I expected it to be) I gave Sabrina my information and asked her what time the shipment comes in, said it varies everyday. I told her that we had luau reservations and needed to get on the opposite side of the island by a certain time. Waited for a couple hours for the shipment to come in and Sabrina texted right away to let me know the shipment was in. The bag wasn't even checked into their system yet that's how fast she was with getting back to me on the delivery since she knew we had luau reservations. The Siena MM turned out to be the perfect size since I'm a mom of a toddler I can fit his stuff in it. And Sabrina stated that the PM is really small in person. I only waited for a few minutes in line and once in the store he spend quite some time trying to understand my needs. I was buying a bag for my b-day. I ended up getting the Alma.
