I was surprised when I was told they didn't have plain mayo, so I decided to go with something else. I ordered the fried okra ($11.90), which I didn't enjoy. It was very heavily breaded and overcooked. We also tried the fried chicken ($18.95) with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes, and unfortunately the chicken was another miss for me. My guest did enjoy the steak salad ($17.95) with grilled tri-tip, so that was better received. One definite standout was the complimentary cornbread they brought to the table.
