Order 10 piece dumplings with a value dragon fruit drink and a steak plate with double dumplings and a large mango dragon fruit drink and asked for both the drinks to have no ice due to me traveling a long distance and not wanting the drinks to be watered down. I was told by Juleisy that they would not fill up my cups of if I wanted no ice they would only be able to fill it half way. I have been to many WaBa grills and other restaurants and have never been told this. Horrible experience. Wow! Honestly best customer service from Yesenia (GM). I placed an online order on my phone to pickup a bowl and some gyozas . My time says 12:28 and I arrive around 12:30pm. There was so many people in there and also like 4 people in line. I get to cashier and she says to wait it will be out soon. I wait till 1240 nothing and give the benefit of the doubt to wait another 10mins which was already making me late to work. I was then upset, got up and asked for a refund. Later that day Yesenia called me, apologized, told me to come in next day to get the whole meal on them. She even gave me a receipt of the refund they issued me. I don't know who's the blame is it the owner is it the manager? Is it the way that the employees are trained but this is the only Waba grill and believe me I'm a huge lava grill customer whenever I'm in a different city. I do stop at Waba Grill. This one just happens to be the closest one to my home. And out of all the lava grills I've ever been to The portion size here is absolute thievery. The care that goes into my bowl is absolute garbage the way it's package presented the portion size like I'm so disappointed with my experience at the one Waba Grill. That's close to my home that I couldn't help but leave a review. Hopefully the sparks change that you guys stop robbing your customers, especially once they shop there on a daily and weekly basis That you give the right portion of rice, veggies, and meat that the avocado is properly cut and I just squished into my plate that you guys follow basic instructions like no sauce on my order please. And that the meat is properly cooked and that the rice is properly cooked. These are all experiences that I've had with this particular place. Came in to try to get something healthy and the guy at the register kept trying to upsell us and kept trying to add stuff to our order when we were insisting that we were not trying to order that. My girlfriend got the signature rice bowl and they charged us for a veggie bowl. Despite the fact we did not say that we wanted that and on top of that they gave us the completely wrong order. Staff were friendly ... courteous enough to tell me that I can eat in even after closing time. I would give it 5 stars but why do they close so early ? My co workers and I were half way with our bowls so we just threw the rest away. When back at the location the manager picked up the fly from the dumpling and acted like it was just something from the grill. Mentioning it was pepper. Pepper does not have WINGS! The Lady cashier which i didn't catch her name has an attitude problem. I came to pick up my order and i always check my bag to make sure my order is correct and i noticed utencils were missing so i told her and she got all fiesty saying it's in there and i said it's not and shes like show me the bag. Been to this location several times without incident. Food is always consistent and a healthier alternative to typical fast food. I came in tonight to place an order for my friend and I and total came to $28.82. They typically bag everything and include sauces (packets) without asking customers what they prefer. Before leaving I asked for a few extra sauces. I was told that there would be an extra charge for sauce packets. I was not happy at all about this. I'm in here spending over $28 and I'm being told I have to pay extra for a few sauces. REALLY?!! I mean, I know times are tough, but this is outrageous!! I was then told that this was a new policy. Well, this "new policy" was not posted ANYWHERE and I addressed it with a manager after I left. On top of this, order was incorrect! Ordered a chicken bowl with white rice and received brown rice, which I do not like. Perhaps they should have more attentive and knowledgeable staff taking orders.
