Completely disappointed and angry with how they have changed their Baker's Dozen Rewards Program…read more Instead of rewarding you your "free" bag of pet food immediately, you now have to wait a month or more for it to show up in the mail, on a flyer, so anyone can steal it. When I spoke with someone at the store, they said that once a month, corporate mails out all the rewards they have for that month. Really? Then, you get an email that says "Your free bag is on the way"! (Well, not really on the way because you're given a window of 30 days for it to arrive) 30 days for something to be mailed by a company with 32 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana? When we contacted "corporate" to let them know we hadn't received our certificate, they said they'd send out another free certificate right away. One week later, when we called to find out why we still hadn't received our certificate, we were told they can't just send out another one, as the company they are using can't print out just one certificate at a time, we'd have to wait another month for the next batch of certificates to be printed and mailed. Our expected delivery date: April 13th. Logged onto the system last night and now it's April 24th for the dog food, May 2nd for the cat food. To make it even more confusing, if you buy a large bag for a the price of a small bag, you get credited only for the small bag in your Baker's Dozen Account. So after a while you'll have credit for some small bags, some large bags, and you're that much further away from getting to your 13th free bag. So even though I bought large bags of cat food at a discounted price, I'm only going to be credited for 1 small free bag of cat food. I've talked with other friends who shop there and are having the same exact problem. Sorry Jack's...whoever sold you on the idea of making your customers wait more than a month to receive something "free" based on being diligent, dedicated customers, probably has cost you those same diligent, dedicated customers. Can't you just email a certificate?

Feeders is a newish pet store in the Eastgate area. They took over the previous space from Pet…read moreValu, which closed. There is plenty of parking out front, that is not too far away if you are carrying heavy pet food bags. Upon walking in, I was instantly greeted by 2 different people in the check out area. I then wandered a few feet and was greeted by a 3rd person, and then a 4th. Now this is not a very big store, so they seemed to have a lot of employees working. I politely told each one thank you, I was just looking. I made my way around just browsing and kept being offered help. When I went back to look at the live creatures they have, I swear I was literally being followed. I truly appreciate good customer service, but this felt a bit uncomfortable. The store has everything you need for various types of pets including dogs, cats, birds, lizards, and small mammal. Things such as toys, leashes, collars, bowls, beds, food, and treats are just some of what youll find. They offer a dog wash, but at around $12, thats quite pricey. Live animals can be found here too including quite a few reptiles, crickets, hamsters, mice, rats, ferrets, hedgehog, guinea pig, and even a chinchilla. I'm not sure if their live animal prices are high comparatively or not, as I usually adopt from rescues. Overall id say their prices on most things do seem high compared to other pet stores. They do offer sales and buy so many bags of food get 1 free. I guess my final opinion is if I was looking for something specific, I might look here, but there are better options around the area when it comes to pet stores.

She mentioned they were in the back to the right and I couldn't locate them so she finally ended up helping me and then mentioned she was the only clerk in the store...I didn't have an attitude or rush her. I just simply needed help locating the free treats that they emailed me about in the first place. I get to the register and I can't find the email! So I ask if they can still honor it since she saw the email when I first walked in anyway, she proceeds to say she needs to check with her manager. The manager says no we need to see the email and didn't honor it. I was extremely disappointed because the only reason I came there was because they emailed me for free birthday treats and I just feel like because the store clerk saw the email when I first walked in, she could have just honored it but they didn't. They're pretty big with lots of pet supplies for any pet. They're pretty also do grooming, bathing, and nail trimming for cats and dogs. Juliet, one of the staff there, was very friendly and helpful to me in my search. She made some nice recommendations on sprays and ideas for scratching posts to put on my furniture to help too. Overall, prices on everything are pretty nice. I have a feeling I may return here for goodies for my cat.

Upon opening the box, I was a bit taken back by the flimsy nature of the materials. As the instructions state, the house will become solid once it is completetly constructed, and they were absolutely correct and the house was very sturdy. When the house came, I noticed it had a triangular mounting hole. My inspiration for this project was finding a round groundsleeve in the front yard from the previous owner. So I then purchased an S&K triangular adapter for round poles. https://www.bestnest.com/ver2024/RTProduct.asp?SKU=SK-RPA The next item I ordered was the Nature House DuraCraft Purple Martin House Pole (round pole). https://www.bestnest.com/ver2024/RTProduct.asp?SKU=NH-DP-16 It took 3 deliveries to get me a complete kit, as their packaging was allowing the metal pole to create a hole where the hardware kept falling out. Now it was time to finally put the house up! I was surpised how high the house was after being installed, it looked amazing! However the fitment between the round pole and triangular adapter was less than tight. I had to drill a pilot hole into the metal pole and use a stainless screw and washer to attach the plastic adapter to the metal pole. I then noticed there was a bunch of wiggle room between the adapter and the house and between the adapter and the round pole, causing the house to wobble more than I'd like. I drilled 2 holes in the plastic adapter and placed stainless screws to keep the house from wobbling on the adapter. On the round pole side of the adapter, I had to place 3 different sized dowels into the negative spaces in the triagular adapter to prevent that side of the connection from wobbling. The house is now up, looks great, and is not wobbling! I installed it yesterday and birds are already building nests in it :) While the fitment of their products could use some refining, overall the quality is high and I am happy with my purchase.

I came recently as they are offering order online for curbside pickup which is nice! The bigger box stores ARE NOT doing this! The employees here are friendly and helpful. The store is always organized and clean. I find the inventory between online and in store to be fairly accurate. Watch for their sales, as those are the best deals. Also make sure to register for their rewards, as you will receive extra coupons and deals such as the cool free reusable tote bag I got!
