She repeated that I had to select "gift wrap" during online checkout, but from a customer's perspective, after waiting in a long line, receiving 10 gift items stuffed into a small shopping bag was extremely disappointing. I understand store policies, but I expected at least a simple wrapping option or even an extra shopping bag. The way I was spoken to and dismissed made me feel very uncomfortable, and I couldn't help feeling that I was being treated differently--possibly because I'm Asian. I definitely won't be returning after this experience, and I regret not asking for the employee's name (short-haired lady with not-so-fluent English).

I especially appreciated how the staff was working so hard to get people shoes to try on. The place was so packed and the staff here was very helpful. My advice is to come the first few hours that this store is open, when things are freshly stocked. The ladies section seems to be missing sizes beyond L and that is a problem for women like me who love to buy XL for my fit. Great place to buy special gifts for the athletes in my family, thanks.

The store itself is a hodgepodge of clearance items. Good luck trying to put a cute workout outfit together here because it's pretty much impossible. But what is possible is to find deeply discounted Nike items. Another tip of note - ALL SALES FINAL. They make it very obvious going through the store, signs at the cash register, and the staff let you know before swiping your card. The store has items for all ages. The women's section is pretty underwhelming. All of the clothes are pretty much on circular racks within the store and very close to one another. One rack had sports bras, another had shorts, another had tanks, and another had active outdoor wear. If you dig enough you probably can find a deal. But like I mentioned earlier it's hard finding coordinated outfits because everything is just all over the place. Shoes are in the back while men's is to the right of the entrance. Fitting rooms have 3 stalls and during a busy Saturday afternoon, they were pretty messy. However, staff were very nice and helpful. If you're on the hunt to find a deal then definitely check the store out. Your patience and time will reward you. Park at entry 8 to get here the quickest and the store itself is within district 9.

I wasn't too excited about going into the mall for just one stop at first, but it ended up being pretty easy. As long as you go in through the right entrance, you don't have to walk the whole mall, although we love the huge size and selection at Great Lakes! We used the map right by the door and found GameStop quickly. The mall felt welcoming and had a lot going on, so it's definitely a place you could spend more time if you wanted to. Even though we didn't need help from mall staff, we were greeted by a few people as we walked through, which was nice. It turned out to be a smooth and easy visit overall.

I also appreciated that they had Christmas Carolers from a local church group singing live here. The food court was not good. We had a family member get sick from the Japanese food place, so please be careful. The variety in the food court is also a range of different options, which was good. This indoor mall is now my fave here.

Elisha was super friendly and did her best to go through the stock - going up / down the ladder, checking the backroom etc for my size. (And multiple times - every time she came back I had shortlisted a few more) Unfortunately on the ones I selected, the smallest size available in stores were big for me. At this point Elisha suggested weekly days that they get restocked (few other styles have smaller sizes but they get sold FAST). However we live a good hour away and it'd have been difficult to come back. Determined to help she looked up the system and said she can put in a special online order for my size and it will be delivered at home. There was one particular pair I had my heart set on and listening to this had me super duper excited.. ORDER placed! As I was headed back to get the right size I asked if she could check stock for a particular width. She told me they're all back there and motioned toward the aisles. They maintain the cleanliness and arrangement of the shoes, boxes, bags, hats, fancy jewelry and more for men's women's and kids. The clearance stickers were updated. I could kick someone and really hurt them if I wanted to with the steel toe, hahaha. The worker was very friendly and he placed the order for me online for the color I wanted and they fit perfect. I highly recommend this shop if you need quality boots. I will definitely come here again and this location specifically for the customer service. The boots are pricy but worth every penny. I don't see them falling apart anytime soon. My boots came when they said they would and they called me to pick them up. Thanks guys!

When discovering several scuffs on the last pair of shoes, she was not willing to give a discount. I left and bought a really nice pair of Cole Haan for $50 less. I guess I will change my wardrobe from Johnston Murphy to Cole Haan. Very disappointing sales experience. Correction We went back another time to give it another chance, since Johnston and Murphy shoes are quality shoes. This time we were greeted and attended to like you would expect it from an upscale shoe store. The store Manager and one Sales Associate took the time to understand what we were looking for and to find and optimum fit. We ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes, plus received one pair for free. The Store Manager apologized for the previous negative sales experience and noted that the error had been corrected as apparently other customers had similar observations. Based on the last visit and experience I decided that 5 stars are appropriate again.
