The customer service here was amazing, and it always has been. It was extremely personalized and engaging. I appreciate the sales representative not trying to upsell other things to me. I made it clear that I was here specifically for new denim, and he respected that. He did everything he could to give me the best service in finding all the denim that I desired. The absence of the upselling made this experience much better for me because it did not distract from what I intended to be there for.

I was undecided between Oakley and Maui Jim, so I bought both pair so I can take them home for my wife's opinion. We both liked the Maui Jim's better so we decided to return the Oakleys. When I purchased the Oakleys they were running a Friends and Family sale. No mention of the restrictions on Friends and Family, just a better price. I go to return the sunglasses and Justin the manager said they can only do store credit on Friends and Family sale items. I was a little shocked since I just spent 300 dollars on these Oakleys. I asked where this policy was stated. He said this should have been told when I made the purchase. I notified him that this information was not communicated and I read nothing on the return policy that is located on the receipt that states this either. I then had to wait for him to read the entire fine writing on the receipt, which I felt he was trying to force me into a corner and stand behind his statement. After Justin couldn't find this information, he decided to complete the refund. I would understand if an item was on clearance and not allowing refunds on those items, and items without a receipt. But when you hold a "Friends and Family" sale on all regular price items, why would you have this policy? Isn't that trapping the customer into not getting a refund on any return? This is poor and unethical business in my mind so buy at your own risk. I, for one, will not be back into that store which is too bad because I was diggin' the new Ski goggles that have the Heads Up display in them. Guess I will steer away from Oakley. Not only are the prices great, this is a quality product! The people who work here are also very friendly and helpful. They offer a large variety of styles, patterns and products. They even sell their face masks here now. Yesterday we found some Pura Vida bracelets which are most often found online. I was always interested in these products, but love seeing them in-person, so it was a great find. The masks and Pura Vida products are not included in the discount prices. But this is a great place to find gifts, especially in the back of the store where they offer steep discounts. I believe they have up to 70% off products on a regular basis. A couple things, if you join their birthday club they offer additional discounts, but often run out of the birthday gifts. Since this is the outlet, you only get the birthday discount on one item instead of the entire purchase, but they discount the highest price item and not the lowest, so it always ends up the best deal around. The other thing is that I am not up to date on their latest patterns, so I would not know if they are selling past patterns, current patterns or both. If you have a special pattern in mind you may want to check in advance. I am less picky and more about value, plus they have too many adorable products to choose from. One thing I wish could happen is I would love to see Vera Bradley offer the Disney patterns outside of Disney. For now, you can only find them on property or shopping Disney online.

One staff member was very kind and tried to help by finding boxes, but another employee (possibly the manager) came out, took them out of my hands, and firmly said no. She repeated that I had to select "gift wrap" during online checkout, but from a customer's perspective, after waiting in a long line, receiving 10 gift items stuffed into a small shopping bag was extremely disappointing. I understand store policies, but I expected at least a simple wrapping option or even an extra shopping bag. The way I was spoken to and dismissed made me feel very uncomfortable, and I couldn't help feeling that I was being treated differently--possibly because I'm Asian. I definitely won't be returning after this experience, and I regret not asking for the employee's name (short-haired lady with not-so-fluent English).
