As long as you go in through the right entrance, you don't have to walk the whole mall, although we love the huge size and selection at Great Lakes! We used the map right by the door and found GameStop quickly. The mall felt welcoming and had a lot going on, so it's definitely a place you could spend more time if you wanted to. Even though we didn't need help from mall staff, we were greeted by a few people as we walked through, which was nice. It turned out to be a smooth and easy visit overall.

I also appreciated that they had Christmas Carolers from a local church group singing live here. The food court was not good. We had a family member get sick from the Japanese food place, so please be careful. The variety in the food court is also a range of different options, which was good. This indoor mall is now my fave here.

She repeated that I had to select "gift wrap" during online checkout, but from a customer's perspective, after waiting in a long line, receiving 10 gift items stuffed into a small shopping bag was extremely disappointing. I understand store policies, but I expected at least a simple wrapping option or even an extra shopping bag. The way I was spoken to and dismissed made me feel very uncomfortable, and I couldn't help feeling that I was being treated differently--possibly because I'm Asian. I definitely won't be returning after this experience, and I regret not asking for the employee's name (short-haired lady with not-so-fluent English).

I was here for the holidays and the lines went to the back of the store both times that I visited. The merchandise was selling out so quickly. I especially appreciated how the staff was working so hard to get people shoes to try on. The place was so packed and the staff here was very helpful. My advice is to come the first few hours that this store is open, when things are freshly stocked. The ladies section seems to be missing sizes beyond L and that is a problem for women like me who love to buy XL for my fit. Great place to buy special gifts for the athletes in my family, thanks.

The store itself is a hodgepodge of clearance items. Good luck trying to put a cute workout outfit together here because it's pretty much impossible. But what is possible is to find deeply discounted Nike items. Another tip of note - ALL SALES FINAL. They make it very obvious going through the store, signs at the cash register, and the staff let you know before swiping your card. The store has items for all ages. The women's section is pretty underwhelming. All of the clothes are pretty much on circular racks within the store and very close to one another. One rack had sports bras, another had shorts, another had tanks, and another had active outdoor wear. If you dig enough you probably can find a deal. But like I mentioned earlier it's hard finding coordinated outfits because everything is just all over the place. Shoes are in the back while men's is to the right of the entrance. Fitting rooms have 3 stalls and during a busy Saturday afternoon, they were pretty messy. However, staff were very nice and helpful. As I was headed back to get the right size I asked if she could check stock for a particular width. She told me they're all back there and motioned toward the aisles. Why yes they are, stacked like Jenga with 6 point font on the width and color. No wonder all the Birkenstock displays look like a Kindergarten block party. I was so annoyed I left. Lots of available parking. It is not as wide as the Southfield location, but I like that they have a lot of clearance shoes for every sizes. Same with the kids sizes, there are a lot of selection on sale. Staff are friendly. They maintain the cleanliness and arrangement of the shoes, boxes, bags, hats, fancy jewelry and more for men's women's and kids. The clearance stickers were updated. They have the colors for 30, 40, 50 and 70% off. No more 80% off . Anyways, I'll still be in a look out for bargains. One happy shoe lover coming back to this location!
