I was never contacted directly, despite having an upcoming event scheduled. The only way I found out was through Instagram, where they posted they were "taking a short pause for training, updates, and a few exciting changes" and reopening June 19th. After seeing that, I finally understood why my messages had gone unanswered. I completely understand that unexpected closures happen, but not notifying clients with already-booked events caused a lot of unnecessary stress, especially with guests traveling from out of town. We were then told we could still use only the patio space, without access to the inside of the venue, which felt unreasonable for the cost of the rental. This was not just a misunderstanding, there was simply no communication about an important event planned in advance. I truly hope the business does well moving forward, but I also hope communication with customers improves in situations like this. I hope this does not happen to anyone else.
