Bert's has a wide selection of beer, mostly of the craft variety. I had no issue finding my preferred IPA. (Fort George 3-way IPA if you're curious.) There's both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your beverage of choice. They have food as well, that sounded great, but I cannot attest to as I wasn't hungry. read more

Bert's is a must-visit anytime I'm in the area. The drinks are consistently great, and the menu has enough variety that everyone in your group will find something they love. The owner is often there and somehow seems to know almost every regular by name - it gives the place a true family-run feel that's hard to fake. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is pure, nostalgic Americana. The old-garage aesthetic is done right, and the vintage cars that make regular appearances inside the bar add a seriously cool touch you don't see anywhere else. The staff is always friendly, and there's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, so it works just as well for a casual pint with a friend as it does for a larger get-together or event. After a six hour road-trip, we stopped at Bert's for dinner. There's not a lot of outdoor seating for as popular as it was but we managed to find a spot for us and our dog. The staff was above and beyond friendly, waiting on us while we were in line for the counter and offering a water bowl for our dog. The beer selection is huge and there's some wine options too. As vegetarians, we appreciated the veggie wrap with a garden burger and also the crispy fries. We will definitely make this our stop on our way thru town! read more

What an awesome taproom and bottle shop in Ontario. OR. Really nice vibe with a hot rod theme. I really enjoyed my first visit. I am visiting my son in Idaho. We are close to this place so we stopped by after some shopping near by. The atmosphere is very welcoming. It had a decent crowd and appears to be popular. They serve some pretty solid food. I had the Cuban sandwich and a small order of sriracha fries. My son had the beer battered fries. We both enjoyed our meals. We both had a pint of Hazelicious from Reuben's brewery. Very solid we both liked it. I also picked up a couple 4 packs of some Melvin haze bombs and a few sour beers to go. All in all I loved the place. I am looking forward to visiting read more

This is such a cool spot in Ontario. I plan on coming back again, but it was our first time, and it was a Saturday afternoon. We got two pints and some lunch. About $30, but that seems to be the norm these days. It's super clean, very decorative, and a wide variety of drinks and food. It had a very relaxed atmosphere, and seemed like it would be a nice hang out spot. Needs a few more arcade games or some additional 'bar' games to go with the shuffleboard. read more

This place is mostly a place you would go to because you want to try a variety of beers in a relaxed atmosphere. The service is good. The food is average; there's nothing bad to say about it; it's about the best you can expect from an air fryer in a limited kitchen. If you think of this place as a tasting room with way better food, you would be on the right track. Still, it's a decent little place to check out if you want a beer and a bite. read more

i have been by this place several times. Finally stopped in for a drink and to eat. By far the bext place to get a drink in Ontario. Lots of choose from... Ales, Ciders, etc etc... I had a Second Sight Scotch Ale - Black Raven. It was fantastic. They have a great list on tap. They have nasty Kombucha that people some how choke down. Lets talk about food now. I had the Beef Brisket, macaroni salad with a side salad. The salad was good. Nice mixed greens, Cheese and sunflower seeds. There was no tomato, like it says on the menu. My bleu cheese dressing was good. The Brisket comes with choice of Side, (Salad, Marcaroni salad, or Potato salad) and BBQ sauce or Horserasdish. I was offered Fries, but chose the Mac. The Macaroni Salad was good. I suspect it was a pre-packaged item like Resers or someting like that. The BBQ sauce tasted alright but was not amazing. The horseradish sauce was very tame. No heat or bite at all. The Brisket.... I have had brisket all over. When I was traveling more I loved to try BBQ brisket everywhere. Never ever have I ever had brisket that was cubed and served in a bowl. It tasted ok. it was a little chewy. I would not order again. Would like to try some other items. read more

Ontario was our halfway point between Park City Utah and PDX, so though I don't have a lot of nice things to say about this city, Berts is a gem! We stayed in a trash motel (budget traveling takes away your self respect, let's be real), but we're thrilled when we saw this place a few blocks away. Sunshine, beer, good snacks, and nice folks. First time stopping in between Boise and Wesier. The reviews looked good and they have a great selection of craft beer and ciders on tap. Food is very good. Love beer batter fries. People thar work here are post Covid masked but they are very friendly. A little off the freeway but way worth it. I will try and make this a regular stop. Also the atmosphere is garage grunge cool. Way better than Applebees. Feels authentic. It was probably an old car garage. read more
