Down a star. Forced here as Sansotta was closed, and wanted a simple ham and egg sandwich on a seeded roll No seeded rolls. Poppy or sesame. Ok, I say, "then please pull the dough out of a regular roll, double ham and one egg." Server, "ham and eggs?" Me, "no, one egg and double ham." Server, "right, so ham and egg." Me, "double ham" while holding up two fingers. "One egg, extra ham" Server, "yes that is ham and egg" I surrender, and receive a full roll, no dough out, with ham (single) and one egg. Super bummed on many accounts. I grew up with this as a staple deli in our community and while I know it is no longer that I was still hopeful. They are still using Styrofoam coffee cups which is horrible for the environment and when you pick this cup up the top pops off, coffee goes everywhere and leaves you burned so beware of that. Also, a panini is only served on a roll not the ciabatta of focaccia bread they advertise. read more

I have been going to this deli for 23 years since I moved here. They used to make the best sandwiches and have the best service. When the new owner was here the service and the sandwiches remained as good as they were. Now this is what you get a slice of each piece of meat and a bunch of salad. This joint has the strangest hours EVER! I could be driving by on a Thursday at 6pm and its closed and yet Sunday at 10pm its open.. whats goody w that? Okay, look... English isn't the primary language used here, and probably not even the second! You may (accidentally) get hung up when calling in an order and ignored at the deli-counter. But, THIS PLACE MAKES THE BEST (insert swear words) ITALIAN COMBO you're ever going to have! Additionally, they have a great single beer selection! Ownership has definitely changed hands a few times in recent years, but whoever sells the place continues to hand-off the Italian Combo manual! Maybe you'll even bond with the townies working there. The prices are pretty good for soda, milk, and eggs. The sandwiches and breakfast food are decent too. The quality depends a lot on who is working. The old guy who has been there for 30+ years thru 4+ sets of owners makes THE BEST sandwiches. The Spanish girls in the morning serve half raw eggs all the time. The Indian woman in the early afternoons is nasty. Didn't want to stop, but they were calling my name. So rather than go food shopping while hungry, the wife and I ducked in for a quick bacon, egg & cheese. Both came with the eggs cooked all the way through. Both of us like a little yolk running around the samitch. I ordered ketchup on mine. I think the cook simply said "Heinz" as they waved the bottle near my roll. Anyway, the place is much cleaner and brighter than before and hopefully, the new bollards will prevent it from becoming a "drive-in" again. Anyway, I'll go somewhere else for my BEC. read more

The service is getting worse every day. The employees are rude, they are nasty when they can't understand what you are ordering. Constantly getting orders wrong. The last straw was when My brother brought in a winning scratch off and an employee insisted that it was not a winner. Another employee pushed her aside and scanned the ticket and paid my brother. Very rude people! I had a bill of $6.68 I gave the lady $6.67 and would not except! On top of that they don't except credit card under $10 luckily a very nice gentlemen behind me gave me a 1¢. They messed my order up (not first time). Terrible customer service and food is not that great. Would recommend people that can speak and understand English. read more

Sent daughter to grab a gallon of milk this morning since we ran out. Big mistake! Date on milk was for next week but the milk was chunky & smelled bad. It was obvious that it was left out. Sent daughter back to show them & get my money back & she was told it was fine, all she had to do was shake the gallon! The milk was rancid. The moment you opened it you could smell that it was bad & they continued to insist it was fine. They did NOT give her back her money but sent her home with another gallon which was also bad. I called & was told that the milk was fine & that they don't make the milk, the date was good so the milk was good. Never going there again. Service & rudeness of employees has been going downhill for a while now but always gave them a pass because of the convenience of the store, not anymore. read more

I love coming here for my usual egg and cheese on a roll with lettuce, tomato and hot sauce It's a little more expensive than I'd like, but it's really worth it. Service sucks. They don't get the food correctly done and they show favoritism towards other per say customers. I have been here many times and after placing an order someone else would come in afterwards and place an order, they would end up leaving before me, mind you they ordered from the grill too. read more

But to no avail the food is just absolutely disgusting the employees barely speak English and are extremely rude!
