Absolutely HATED the pharmacy cashier/ tech's disgusting attitude. Erika, has absolutely NO customer service experience, with a disgusting dismissive attitude. Lacks manners towards customers. I had went to this cvs location with my grandmother to pick up her prescriptions. Erika was high upon greeting with an absolute reek of marijuana. Very dismissive and ignorant towards the needs of CVS' patients. CVS should be more responsible, and drug tests their employees to make sure they're up to par and capable of at least doing their job. I would rate the pharmacy, at mohegan-lake-ny a big fat zero if I could. I initially thought they were having a rough day, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, my experiences there have only worsened, with unbearable attitudes and frequent hold-ups on my prescriptions. When I ask someone at the counter, I often get a blank stare as if they don't understand, then they go back and laugh with coworkers, mocking customers repeatedly. This has persisted for over 15 months, and no matter who manages the pharmacy, it's clear they tolerate this unprofessional behavior. The one in Yorktown, ny not much better. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I'm incredibly disappointed with the service at this pharmacy. The pharmacist couldn't explain why my medication was backordered or offer help in locating it at another CVS. A staff member even muttered something under her breath after I asked for more information and incorrectly claimed my prescription was recalled--which it wasn't. There's an evident lack of care for customers here. I won't be returning and strongly recommend choosing another pharmacy in the area. read more

This is one of the worst CVS' I've ever been to. The employees have piss poor attitudes , never have a smile on their face and treat you like they're doing you a favor. Outside of the pharmacy , the store and upfront staff is fine. I cant understand why the pharmacy staff is so unhappy and miserable, I know its long hours and they're dealing with constant customers , it's a busy location, but on several CVS hiring websites, they say CVS pharmacist's in the New York area make a six figure salary...that should be enough to put a smile on your face!!!! Also what's up with the pharmacy closing for lunch? This place is awful! Each month I get the same prescription and more often than not, they can't fill the whole prescription. Their drive-through is frequently closed for no reason at all so I'm told. Some of the staff can be quite rude, especially the female pharmacist. There is no organization or management at all causing this to be a very unreliable place to receive my life-saving medication's. As, Anger as I am this review pains me to say. The Mohegan lake CVS PHARMACY has hit a low time low. Where you call for a refill, and a pharmacist saying we tried call your doctor and have him send for a refill. Then when you do and get confirmation that the script was sent, Then when you go several days later, you go and pick it up, your told by the pharmacy that there's a hold. No calls to let you know, just, nothing. You, call the manager and after your told the manager he claims they told my son than wait 15 mins, after holding off on the script for several days, prior, enough is enough! My pharmacy in Yorktown did not have enough of the prescribed medication last night so they told me to pick it up from Mohegan Lake this morning. I'm here at 10:15 and it's not ready, have to wait 20 minutes because they did not fill it. Additionally, perhaps Robin in the pharmacy area call people by their name, sir or madame, not the honey, sweetie, hon, darlin or my dear that she calls everyone. read more

Please tell your employees in the front of the store to put their personal cell phones away. The woman in the cosmetics is sitting in the ear piercing station with inventory stacked around her on her phone. Check your security cameras. I asked her twice where certain products were, second time I got an eye roll and comments to whom ever she was on the phone about not looking first. The cashier at the cash registers is telling everyone how sick she is and please use self check outs. She is also on her phone telling someone she is sick. The woman who I believe is the manager was telling a customer the young lady is allergic to everything. You are in a drug store, recommend something for her allergies or send her home. Also please clean and fix your self checkout machine, they are dirty and you have to bang your purchase down for it to register.Also give the gentleman who was working a bonus. He was helping with check outs, advising where products were, not on his cell phone in addition to stocking shelves. read more

This might be the worst CVS in all of Westchester. I'll go 20 minutes after my courtesy call (which btw says my prescription is ready) and still have to wait another 20 min. Today they told me to come back in 20 min. I came back at 6:50 and the pharmacy was closed. It's supposed to be open until 10pm. You're better off driving to Peekskill or Somers. I think this is the worst CVS I have been to. The staff at the front of the store is always friendly, however the pharmacy is a different story. Every time I go pick up prescriptions I am greeted with the worst attitude and lack of patience. Never had a good experience. As a person who has worked in costumer service, and always makes sure I approach every situation with the best attitude, I am disgusted at how I get treated here. This is without a doubt the worst CVS pharmacy on the planet! Every time I go their drive through window is always closed. I've called in advance to make sure the window will be open they say yes but it's not. I am currently on hold with the pharmacy, no one having picked up yet, for 63 minutes! After beeping and tapping my cain on the window they refused to open the drive through window for me even though I told them I am unable to walk due to neuropathy problems limiting my walking they said, even though all 8 Of the prescriptions I needed were in their hands all packed and ready except for their refusal to open the drive through, they'll forward my prescriptions at another pharmacy 5 miles from my house when Im one mile from my house at this one and all ready there...... to a pharmacy that always has a line around the building, and this CVS is probably the reason why....but the other cvs wouldn't have had my prescriptions ready until at least the following day anyway. And ever since Danny left everyone I've been forced to deal with is unsympathetic rude and does not want to do anything to help. I've had it with this pathetic excuse for a pharmacy. This review is for the pharmacy... In the past I've had a number of issues with my prescriptions not being available or ready on time. Today when we went to pick up our 3 prescriptions (hubby, myself and baby girl) they had 2 of the 3 prescriptions. Apparently our daughters prescription was not though the Dr called in all 3 at the same time..... Hmmmmmmm :-/ disorganized maybe? Idk... It was irritating to have to leave and go back....get your act together CVS!!! This isn't the 1st time this has happened to us either. The nice thing about them is the drive through pharmacy. Pharmacy service is the worst. Every subscription pick up requires multiple visits as staff either doesn't know how to process coupons, is going on lunch break, etc. Fill your subscriptions elsewhere if possible. read more

Absolutely awful! Horribly understaffed! Doesn't matter what time of day you walk in here you will be standing for 20 minutes at the very least! I had deliveries from CVS specialty pharmacy. I get them once a month they lose them every time !you think you would learn after the first 3 to 4 times The procedure and not to lose the medicine. I've made three appointments for Covid vaccines. They've canceled all three when I got to the store they text me nonstop before hand to remind me of my appointment but nobody calls or texts me to let me know that the shot or the medicine is not available Till I get there. And they won't agree to give me a call when the medicine is available for sure, so I don't waste my time! CVS is greedy and they treat their patients like cattle. I don't blame the staff. It is clear they are overworked and not equipped to deal with the volume of customers They have .CVS as a corporation is just greedy and wants more and more money. They have no concern For the health or the well-being of their patients. If you can find a small mom and pop pharmacy, you might pay a little bit more but it will definitely be less aggravation and probably safer. This chain is the worst for prescriptions! Their customer service is a nightmare. I had a total hip replacement, go to get refill of pain meds and if they don't have the full amt of the meds so they won't partially fill it. They won't get some from their other stores or tell u where to go to get it in one of their other stores. They will not transfer the rx...you have to call your doctor and have them call it in and then you call that store and see if they have it. WTF?!?! If your doctors office isn't open you're out of luck. This chain has lazy heartless rules. It's bad enough I had my femoral head sawed off, am relying on others to care for me now you don't even have the meds for me? And we are just supposed to bend over and take it! Pay them for BS service? Today, my husband went to pick up my meds that the doctor called in on Friday and it's Sunday...I spoke to the pharmacy rep on Friday and she said I could pick it up Sunday...SURPRISE!!!!!!!! It's not ready! A while back, I called for a refill of my dogs meds I go to pick it up, 1 day after they promised it ready and SURPRISE!!!!! not ready. On several occasions I waited 4 days to pick up my prescription. At which time the counter person tells me its not ready and come back. The lines in the store and drive through are too long. I transferred my prescriptions to a mom/pop pharmacy where the prescriptions are filled in a timely manner and there is better customer service. Great staff keep me coming back. Danny is the man! He remembers my name and my wife's. Always asks about the kids and is great with service recovery when inevitably something goes wrong. The prescription process isn't always the staffs fault, it can be the system. Of note is at some point I was getting calls that meds were ready through the automated system and when I show up to get them the staff would work quickly to get it together for me. I don't know why I would be called about it being ready if they are going to wait for me to show to fill it. It seems to have stopped but I think only because now I call and confirm that the bottle is filled and in the basket waiting. I like the convenience of where the pharmacy is in relation to my house and the drive up. But if Danny ever left out would be the incentive I need to look at ordering meds online. As far as CVS stores are concerned, this one is pretty good. The pharmacy folks are helpful and patient, and quite overworked. The staff at the counter is generally very friendly and helpful. The store can get a little sloppy, especially around holiday times, but I'm sure it's because they're understaffed all around. read more

It's nice to deal with a pharmacy who employs efficient, friendly and confident employees. In particular Danny and Kevin. No matter when I drive thru or come into the store to pick up my prescriptions Danny greets you with a smile, he makes you feel good that he cares about your needs and goes out of his way to make sure you got what you need and are satisfied. I enjoy dealing with these two employees in particular. As for Kevin, he's efficient on the drive up and very nice when answering your questions over the phone and also makes recommendations to help better assist in the flow of your medications. I feel he's professional and always makes you feel like you matter. Management should really look at them as successful mentors and be pleased that they have two sincere employees employed by CVS. read more

The worst for prescriptions! Went to urgent care on 3/21. The doctor sent in a prescription which I decided to pick up the next day and did exactly that. Fast forward to today 4/2, I went on the CVS app to refill a prescription that I'm running low on for a different medical reason. I happened to notice that on 3/21, that the urgent care physician actually sent in 2 prescriptions which I did not realize nor did the morons at CVS inform me of this when I went in store two pick up the other medication in 3/22. Apparently there was an issue with the 2nd medication stating "contact you pharmacy to fill your rx". Well how the hell am I supposed to contact my pharmacy when the damn pharmacy didn't contact me to let me know there was an issue and didn't say a word when I was in store the following day. Somebody needs to get their head out of their ass and pay attention before something bad happens because of their incompetence!!! And time for me to change pharmacies read more

Just called because my Rx was accidentally filled at the Mohegan Lake instead of the Scarsdale pharmacy, and holy cow was the lady rude on the phone. She essentially passive aggressively chewed me out for not understanding the CVS protocol and knowing that I was supposed to call Scarsdale instead of her. What a gem. read more
