This was my second time having jersey Mike's, and I ended up trying 3 things! Everything was a 10/10. I wish I got the names of the guys working at this location, but they were all so sweet and helpful. My friend recommended the double digit sandwiches, so I ended up deciding on the big kahuna (i think that's #58) but with chipotle mayo, it's a (#99) & w bag of salt & vinegar chips. DELICIOUS! It was a hot sandwich, a cheesesteak ughh so good! While I waited, the nice young man asked if I ever had a cold sandwich, which I didn't so I had him recommend one but a mini! Which was perfect for lunch the next day. I think it was an Italian combo, but I'm not too sure about the number, but it was so good and softy just like I like it. He also gave me a cookie, chocolate chip, and it was so good! I had it with milk that night lol it was a nice treat after the sandwich for dinner, I absolutely will be back. Especially to that location because they were also nice there, it was really clean inside as well. Plus I always love when a place has the game on, basketball or football. I have been to this Jersey Mike's several times since it opened and have tried most of the items on the menu without ever being disappointed. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the subs are always fresh. I also enjoy the Mike's "point system" where you acquire points for each purchase and when enough points are accumulated, you receive a free sub. I would much rather go here instead of a deli or Subway. read more

The table were filthy, the floor was disgusting and full of crumbs. The food was ok not as good as when the opened. They cut the sandwiches with the same knife. A worker behind the counter sneezed and I asked him to go wash his hands. The staff is young and needs more training. read more

First let me say, No Way some of these negative reviews are legitimate..I wouldn't be surprised if they can traced to every Subway franchise owner in the area. I have never been to a Jersey Mike's so I didn't know what to expect. So this was my experience: The second we walk in the door, I get greeted by all 5 employees behind the counter ( not like a " hey " ), but a " Welcome to Jersey Mike's, how are you today? "..it was very surprising and welcoming. Next, I go to order and I ask for a second, explaining that I'm not familiar with the menu because it's my first time...that simple statement gets all the employee's attention and they all start applauding and welcoming me as a first timer..( some people might think that's silly but I love stuff like that ) I ordered the Orginal Italian sandwich ( my wife got the same but in a bowl )..they let you customize your order or you can just get it " Mike's way ", which did..with lettuce, tomorrow, and those signature oils..folks, this Sandwich was absolutely delicious!!! So fresh, with the meats sliced right in front of you to order..and built to perfect. The bread was fresh baked and could hold its own against any deli's rolls or heros. The restaurant was clean and spacious with a big screen TV showing sports..I couldn't care about sports but it gave a very inviting vibe..like asking you to sit and relax..unlike subway which are usally built very linear by design with very little seating encouraging you to to pick up and get out. Of course as we finish and go to leave ( before I can even say thank you ), all the employee's thank us and wish us a pleasant day. We could not be more impressed with this place and am happy to add it to our rotation of local eateries. If you find yourself across the street at the Movies or Home Depot and you don't feel like taking out a second Mortgage on your home to eat at Panera Bread..lol, then Definitely come try Jersey Mike's..ENJOY! read more

Since I wrote my original review, I've had to go gluten free due to an autoimmune condition. I've maintained a 100% gluten free status for almost four months now. I was shopping at the Verizon store when I had the idea of getting a great cheesesteak. Since Jersey Mike's offers gluten-free bread as an option, I could order there. I was the only one in the store at the time, which was after lunch but before dinner. I asked the guy behind the counter if they could make any size sub with gluten-free bread and he said they could. I asked for a giant cheesesteak and affirmed the gluten-free bread option. The sandwich was delicious. However, the symptoms that my wife and I experienced the next day made it obvious to me that I did not get the bread I ordered. I ended up dealing with five days of sore joints and fatigue and my wife saw the return of the headaches she had vanquished. I want to point out that anyone can make a mistake, but if a business is going to offer gluten-free food, they have to be diligent about getting it right. The stakes are high. Neither my wife or I have Celiac Disease, but we do have a serious gluten sensitivity. I blame myself because it's unrealistic to expect a bunch of teenagers to take something like this with the gravity that it deserves. It's unfortunate, but I no longer feel comfortable going there. I just can't take that chance. Those of us who are off gluten have a loose-knit community and I want other gluten-free folk to know that if they go to Jersey Mike's, they need to make triple sure that their order is correct. It requires being very vocal and assertive and if possible keeping a close eye on the sandwich maker during the process. I'm shy and introverted. I don't have that assertiveness in me, so it's best that I avoid not just Jersey Mike's but other fast food outlets that have gluten-free menu items. read more

Started on the Jersey shore... PLEASE, GO BACK! I'm typically never harsh but this place stinks! Went there for the first time a week after they opened. The line was almost to the door and it moved at a snails pace -- maybe slower! Seriously! There were 13 workers behind the counter and I believe another 2 (maybe 3) in the back where the grill was. It looked like lunch time at the local jr. high school behind the counter and again, SLOWER THAN MOLASSES with '13' workers all in a state of lazy. The kid on the slicer and the girl bagging the sandwiches were the only one's doing anything requiring breathing! Stupidly, I went back at dinner time a few days later. This time I ordered in-advance online! I went to pick-up 30 mins. later rather than the 15 mins. the ticket said I could pick-up just to give them ample time. NOPE! The order wasn't even started when I got there and they never looked at the options list so my sandwich wasn't even right! That's okay... Jersey Mike's is far superior to the other sandwich chains we have in Westchester. They may cost a little more than Subway but give you more than double the meats. Subway is a few pieces of meat with a salad on top. Also Jersey Mikes topping are fresh sliced and look much better than Subways that sit in a container, for what appears to be days. read more

Visited Jersey mikes for the first time, don't get what's the big hype! Don't get me wrong the place is very clean (just opened) the staff are very pleasant and friendly and well decorated. The choice of cold cuts are of average. Nothing spectacular. It's just like Subways no difference just a few dollars more. I wouldn't call it ' A Sub above' it's your average sub I would still recommend Jersey Mike's but they should go back to Jersey. read more

Disappointing & Expensive! Got the Italian Combo with 5 types of meat and provolone cheese. Well these 5 meats were only about a half inch on the regular size sub and it cost $10.95, Giant sub was $18.50! Even the lettuce, tomato, & onion were skimpy & the oil & vinegar "juice" tasted like oil. water and salt. I spoke with Manager & he added 3 more paper thin slices of ham. I told him he needed to put more meat on for the price and he didnt seem iterested in my opinion. He said they have done very well so far & I said thats because you have been open 2 weeks but you will not get repeat business when we have good deli's all around. Stopped in on a rainy day with a friend and we were craving a Jersey Mikes sandwich, Mikes Way. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is clean and the staff was even cleaning and sweeping behind the counter. We ordered a #8 and #26, one cold one hot. #26 was soo good we did that happy food dance in our chairs lol second one was so good especially with the spicy dill pickle chips they have there. Food was fine, but the service is not. Ordered online and they estimated 15 minutes so I gave them 20. Arrived and it wasn't done and the cashier said they're making it right now. They were not making it right now since it took another 10 minutes to make and it doesn't take that long to make a cold sub. It's about time one of these opened around here, I'm tired of the same fast food places everywhere. Like we needed another Wendy's a mile away from the first one. And Subway sucks because they barely speak english and don't accept Subway coupons that come in the mail. Sandwiches here are great, and customer service is always superb. I went a few days after they opened and was shocked at how many people were in line, but we got thru pretty quick. They had a superstar lineup in from all over, working the counter and training all the new hires. One of the guys was staying in a hotel because he worked at a Jersey Mike's far from this place, somewhere in Connecticut. They greet u upon entry and will actually start conversations while making sandwiches. And they're quick to accept AND give out coupons, unlike the Subway across the street. They were doing a fundraiser for something local and told me that if I donated 5 dollars, I'd get a free regular sandwich, so I did. A regular sized sandwich for 5 dollars is a good deal. They actually speaky English in here, unlike the Subway across the street. Roast beast and provolone loaded with the goods, the juice, and Chipotle mayo is my favorite but their Philly cheesesteak is good too. Their reward program quickly adds up the points towards a free sandwich, I highly recommend it in today's economy. Very clean and appetizing store. not once but three times did they butcher my name plus it's such a easy name it feels almost intentional the forth time we came in it took almost 45 minutes for one order and we were the only two online with maybe 9 people working today again half the order is done half of it isn't after maybe 15 minutes of waiting than they somehow butcher the name again another simple name not even the same one I used the first three times but my friends name they called the wrong nam twice causing my food to sit on the counter maybe 9 minutes after it was done simply because they keep messing the names up. foods ok service is odd read more
