It all started when the linoleum split and we needed to put in new flooring. The projects came one after another. So second to last was the mini blinds. Most worked OK - some were bent and one or two just messed up. Apparently, it didn't bother the hubby - but since I work from home and often want to put the blinds open/shut/up/down, it really bugged me. We went to the home and garden show and got a couple leads. We personally spoke to Brian at the show and made an appointment for him to come and measure/explain options. The communication every step was excellent. Brian showed up on time and was efficient but thorough. He covered the options and started measuring - I went back to work while he finished up. In a day or two we had a proposal. I had no clue what blinds cost and was very pleased with the price tag. However, I always get at least one more proposal to make sure the good is good and we're getting the right product. About a week later, another lady came to the house and showed me her product. Right away, I thought the Gotcha Covered blind was superior quality. Also, the lady charged me for labor to take down the old blinds and dispose of them. I guess that was OK if you wanted to save money - but I wanted to avoid the hassle. When I lined up both proposals and compared them apples to apples, they were just about even. In fact, I think Gotcha's Covered may have been a little more. Regardless, I did not hesitate letting Brian know we were going with him. I was surprised how quickly our order came. Brian contacted us to make an appointment for the installation. Again - I was blown away how quickly and efficiently the old blinds came down and the new ones went up. Payment was very easy - half up front on credit card and the rest by check. I cannot tell you how much I like our new blinds. I am opening/raising them daily and take the down every night. It is so simple - literally a click of a button and a little muscle. No more pulling strings and trying to get them even and to lock in. I highly recommend this product and this company!!

The patio is not level in a couple areas and the custom stamp and cuts they made in the patio were not lifted up causing a bubble like look. Also, while completing the project, I called in numerous times to complain, I would have people come out at the end, but after several services calls and nothing accomplished, I finally stopped fighting and said I would leave a review. Nice phone conversation…read more However, with the stressors we've had I didn't quite put it all together until tonight when finally looking at my receipt that I was correct when I was given a price and then it become much more expensive with so called taxes and fees as the excuse when I questioned them and that's what I'm told. $40 mirror plus $16 and change for backing plus $6 and change surcharge and tax isn't almost $90. Our glass was also packaged up so we couldn't see it upon arrival. I wanted to see it but was informed it's hard to mess up up a mirror during the somewhat awkward in person pick up where we wasn't acknowledged until we hesitantly rang the bell lightly after a long time standing waiting. When we took it out IN THE PARKING LOT it was very dirty with stuff we thankfully was able to see that it was moving off of the glass BUT never thought about looking at the backing. After we was home we removed it completely and with alot of scrubbing we got it somewhat clean. This should have been presented to us professionally and clean and we should have been shown the product before packaging it up . However, they was aware we wasn't planning on using a backing on our project as long as their work looked good we didn't expect anything less as they are a professional business. LOL but the contact paper was put on sloppily and now we have to use a backing. We are afraid if we try to fix their sloppy creases it may ruin the mirror finish so costing us even more from poor work. I tried my best to smooth it myself but the photos shows what I still have that is not as bad as it was but still sloppy. We were taken on around $20 in addition to sloppy unprofessional work. It's our fault we didn't press harder against their excuses on costs. We don't typically get ripped off by local businesses and I'm usually a lot more inquisitive and this is why. Can't trust no one. Hope you enjoyed screwing us. I don't mess with karma however you all do. Glad it's not my karma. Probably should watch our statement close and change our numbers. We needed this mirror to move forward with our project but it only put us further in the hole and more behind. We should have waited for our favorite glass company an hour away from us that we usually use and next time we will. Update: I just read through google reviews to find multiples who was quoted and overcharged. Wow just wow! I knew I wasn't wrong. Crooks!! I expect a 50% refund due to the poor product of what we should have been charged on top also the extra $20 fake fees charged. Around $55 refund expected back to my card. Update: was refunded more than I asked for after an email to the owner. No apologies but lady in office when I called told me it was the owner who I had to of worked with due to the day of the week he's the only one working there then but there was two guys so ‍) but who she believed I worked with on the order and she did verbally apologize for our experience and took care of me based upon the owners email. She was very nice and professional and sent me a copy of the refund receipt.
