The adult and kids clearance section in the back of the store is well worth a look see for a great discount. The service is always good! I like to stop in weekly to a nearby DSW to donate an old pair of shoes to apply toward my DSW reward points. They add up quickly for dollars off of my purchases. Check out their Soles4Soul program. Then, when I asked about the sale for a couple bags which had sale signs above the bags, she told me they weren't on sale and that there was nothing she could do. I went to the Ann Arbor DSW and the bag was on sale. So, I knew I was correct but didn't cause them any trouble because I'm a good person. Unfortunately, since the terrible customer service and respect for their own co-workers, I will never return. That was my first time at that location. Not very smart of them as their job in retail is ending as these kinds of stores are closing because everyone is shopping online. I would suggest to have better customer service even if you don't like who the customers are because we are paying customers that keep you having a job!

There was nothing eager or badgering about this experience; clearly different from any other shoe salesmen looking for a commission and to hit the sales goal. I never touched the shoe! He removed my current sandal, measured my feet, retrieved the new shoes, PUT THEM ON ME, and then once I chose the right pair he put the old shoes in the box and asked if I wanted to wear the new shoes out of the store. For every pair of shoes that I tried, she asked questions about fit, feel, space, etc., and brought out socks that varied in thickness, so I could see how they felt with the boots on. She never hesitated to grab more styles or sizes from the back. She seemed far more interested in helping me find the right boots than she did in selling me something. They also give a student discount (saved me about $40), and they do price matching if you find the same shoe online for a better price. I should mention that I went during an off time, so I can't speak to the service when there are a lot of other shoppers there. In any case, I had a great experience there.

If they were upfront and notified me about the incomplete order and the missing boxes and accessories, I would have obviously just cancelled the order and order from somewhere else but they shipped out the botched package anyways. I contacted them and they assured me they would look for the 3rd pair or "take care of me" for the issues. After some more back and forth, their only resolution was for me to ship the shoes back to them but they refuse to refund the original cost of shipping the shoes to me even though they botched the whole entire thing. So they wasted all my time and won't even refund the original cost of shipping i paid to have the order sent to me even though they messed it up.
