Such a friendly, welcoming place - Melinda, Laura and Giselle are so sweet and show great concern and care for every client's hair. I was a first timer today and was made to feel comfortable from beginning to end. Laura did my color and i thought it was so awesome that after mixing a few colors, she brought them to me to ask if I was ok with them, before applying. She painted them all on carefully - a combination using 3 different reds/violets. Giselle washed my hair and was always checking if the temperature was ok, wiping the water splashes from my face and removing the color that stained my skin. Melinda cut my hair, which I desperately needed and was so careful not to go too crazy as this was my first time. Her main concern was that I felt comfortable with the color and cut. Bonus was that she curled my hair without me even having to request it! She even spent over 30 minutes with me a couple days before on a consultation that believe it or not, allowed me to learn so much about coloring and just my own hair. Do yourself the biggest favor and come to this salon! After 2 disasterous tries with another salon my hair was fried, over bleached, and the color was just absolutely terrible. I was unsure if anyone could even fix it at this point. But Laura came in and saved the day. She was so kind and patient and miraculously saved my hair. Melinda, Laura, and the ladies at Love Bomb are incredible! After getting a haircut that I wasn't in love with, my friend referred me to Melinda to touch it up. She had been going to her for years and so had her mom. Melinda added a sharp angle to my shoulder-length bob that I LOVED and was super friendly and welcoming the first time we met! Fast forward a year or two later and I contacted Melinda after an ombre gone wrong. The girls at love bomb had me come in right away, evaluated my hair situation, and Laura was able to do an incredible color-correct to exactly what I wanted within the next few days. I've since been back for a touch-up and deep conditioning and my experience there is always a great one. The ladies at Love Bomb are so sweet, knowledgable, and always do an incredible job. Found this place via reviews on Yelp. Located in a building, 3rd Floor, small, busy, cute. Consult with Owner, Melinda, did color, too light. I initially wanted dark. She was hesitant. Redid it and love the color. Also cut a few inches off and feels healthy. 4 Stars just because I know what I want. Left previous Salon because my Stylist left. Melinda and Aimee did my hair and my daughter's hair for years. Their skill matched their intuition for knowing exactly what we wanted and what looked great on us, while their personal charisma & charm lights the darkest corners of every space they are in. My daughter is over flowing with character to the point Aimee is the only person to come near her with scissors and walk away with every hair perfect & even. I would sit in amazement and watch the two of them bop around and chit chat and even dance and there was never that one chunk a bit longer or shorter than the rest. I could give Melinda some abstract adjectives, a phone picture or ten (all very different, with aspects of each that I wanted), and she would make it happen, perfectly, every time. I never took them, their outstanding talent or amazing personalities for granted, but now that I am +800 miles away I realize how spoiled I was to have had them and what a high water mark they have set that no one else can reach. Having had Melinda style my own and my two daughters' hair for over two years, (we followed she & Aimee from a former salon,) we have never looked back. Melinda & Aimee have done my longish, wavy hair at various lengths, with and without layers; my one daughter's very long-curly hair both straight and with the curls/layers; and my other girl's long and dramatic cut to a short style and now back to long hair and bangs, up-do's and blow outs, and every single time they do a wonderful job. Leann did such an incredible job with my hair! I never go into a salon with high expectations, my hair is fine and straight and I generally keep it long. After years of trying to have it do something interesting, I'd resolved to it just being what it is. I was just getting a trim but after taking about an inch off Leann asked what I thought about going shorter, a bit past shoulder length. I took her suggestion and I'm so so so happy with the result! The length works so well for my hair texture, and she even got it to curl without loading it up with product. And something that's never happened before, it didn't fall completely flat in just a few hours! How she accomplished this without a ton of hairspray is beyond me. I cant say enough good things about Love Bomb Beauty! My boyfriend swears by Melinda and has been getting his haircut by her for years. When I got a bad dye-job at another salon my boyfriend recommended I see if they had any openings - the team was able to fit me in the NEXT DAY (thank god) and Elyssa did AMAZING fixing the botched job and creating exactly what I wanted. Melinda cut my hair a few days ago and gave me an awesome shorter cut for the summer. The atmosphere at this salon is so laid back and fun, and all the staff members are incredibly nice, professional, and accommodating.
