She's wonderful. She listens to me and helps me think about what look trying to achieve. Together, we've tried them all! She's never steered me wrong. I've also been enjoying having Sammi blow dry my hair. She's a junior stylist , but is clearly very talented and skilled. Its just a happy place to be. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I brought my 19 month old daughter in for her first every hair cut! From scheduling the appointment with Dina to the actual haircut with Samantha S, the entire experience was picture perfect. They were so wonderful with my daughter making what could have been scary instead a very new & fun activity !! It was all smiles from This little girl thanks to the amazing woman working at Everythings Hair! Every employee at the salon was cheerful, friendly and made my little girl feel like a princess. Samantha was great. I was very pleased. But I asked the cost before we started and what I was told was not accurate. The price at the end should never be a surprise to the customer. If there's an upcharge for things - glaze, haircut - that should be made clear. And the prices are high compared to comparable places. But overall it was very good service. read more

Just wanted to add to the praise of this shop. I'm a guy - not a particularly young one. My 11 year old son wanted to dye his hair weird colors, and he "earned" that right over time pursuant to a deal we struck. So I decided to do it right and take him to a salon. My wife suggested this one. I'd never really spent time in a hair salon (as opposed to barber shop). Wow, these places are fascinating. It's a whole culture. I sat there for over two hours, quietly watching the boy get his hair done, and taking it all in. I found the place strangely calming, it has a really nice atmosphere. The stylists all seem to have very nice relationships with each other, and with their customers. Everyone was really friendly. I can see why women like to go to these places. It's not just about the hair, it's overall a really nice experience. The woman who did my son's hair is named Rachel, and she's really very good. She took a lot of time and care, trying very hard to do a nice job on what is probably not a very typical ... um, assignment. The hair was done half purple, half light blue, and it came out great. Everywhere we go, we get compliments. Plumbers, carpenters, lawyers, dentists, waitresses... everyone loves it. The boy is very very happy. So thanks, Everything's Hair, and especially Rachel. I highly recommend this shop. Sadly, I don't actually have any hair, so I'll have to leave it to others to enjoy these luxuries. m read more

I have been going to Everything's Hair for years. Once I am happy with a salon and my stylist I am loyal and stay with them. The location is convenient to where I live in New Rochelle and the results are always great. Mayra is my stylist and she never disappoints me. She knows my likes and dislikes and I trust her opinion if I am looking for a change. The other stylists are great also so if she is not available I feel confident with anyone else. Everyone is friendly and if you want to talk or just remain quiet they all respect your mood that day. Unfortunately I need to color every 3 weeks since I am about 90 % grey and my roots come in quickly. It does get costly but that is the price I pay for vanity. read more

I had my hair wrecked by another salon in Larchmont...that I won't name. I went to Everything's Hair, hoping that they could save my over processed and bleached out hair..and they did!....Ginger was AMAZING! Not only did she do a corrective color with their wonderful Ammonia free color line, she made my hair look and feel like it did when I was 25! I can't thank her enough for all the work she put into making me feel beautiful again. Color and cut decent BuT I got a phone call 15 minutes before my first ever appointment there saying my stylist wasn't available due to an issue with another client, did I want to reschedule for Sunday! I hadn't gotten hair done in 10 months and had childcare arranged and my daughters baptism the next day. I was like what?!! I made the appointment a month prior. They said they had someone else who could do my hair. I agreed and went. When I arrived it was too busy and everyone seemed to be rushing around. Not a relaxing vibe as I like when I'm getting hair done. My stylist stopped several times to do someone else's hair. Unacceptable. Then I went to pay and cash only! No one mentioned anything when I made appointment or when I confirmed. I won't return. Way overpriced for what it is and service received. read more

3 stars for consistently good cuts and beautiful products. the cons may outweigh the pros. The salon vibe feels a bit gossipy/ tense. Not a warm welcoming salon vibe. Stylist made promises and did not deliver. Customer service is definitely lacking & you want to have an all around positive experience. Everything's Hair is the best salon in Westchester...or maybe NY! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are extremely attentive to your needs, including coffee. The best reason to come here is Ginger- she's a fabulous hair stylist with enormous talent and experience. The continuous compliments I receive about my hair on a daily basis are the greatest testimony to her color and cuts. When I called for an appointment I was told I could see a junior hairstylist for $60/$60 cut and color. She did a good job. When I went back and went to pay the bill I expected to be $120 I was charged $180. Suddenly my junior hairstylist had transitioned to a senior hairstylist. Clearly a tactic used to get you in the door then jack up the price. I didn't appreciate being treated that way and never went back. Now for a little less I get amazing service, a great haircut, and beautiful color (which includes a gloss) at the Red Door in the Westchester Mall.
