Since January, I am truly impressed with the outstanding care she is receiving from Miss Lorie and Miss Angela. The teachers keep me up to date with how she is doing developmentally all the time. I introduced the sippy cup recently, and the teachers were very happy to continue to help her practice using it while at school. They figured out a nap and feeding schedule that I can adhere to on the weekends. Everyone has been very responsive to my questions, and get back to me in a timely manner. My daughter comes home clean every day. I am very impressed that everyone knows my husband and I by name. I see how everyone interacts with my daughter and it warms my heart. I feel comfortable leaving her here knowing she is going to be well cared for. Not to mention, they still do a lot of activities with families after school despite COVID. Right near Valentines's Day, they had a Sweetheart Dance that we attended on Zoom. It was so nice to see families dancing, singing, and listening to stories. The food is prepared in house as opposed to other daycares who give frozen foods. I was assured my toddler will be getting fresh food with variety and she will be exposed to lot of cuisines. But KinderCare has proved worth it. KinderCare was the sixth place I toured when trying to find a place that could take all three kids, but most importantly a single place that I felt could care for my infant as well as two toddlers. Walking around with Sarah, the center director, I was struck by how she knew every kid in every room, and they knew her. There's a tremendous warmth to this place and that starts with Sarah and her amazing staff who all enjoy children. KinderCare does not have the technology that most places have that show to-the-minute updates on when your kid eats, sleeps, etc. My personal opinion is that those features are really just a crutch for daycares that perhaps place more value on "checking in" on the app than connecting with my kids. At KinderCare, I know that my kids are *seen.* They're not boxes on an app that need to be checked. We call daily to see how our kids are doing, and always appreciate how patient and accommodating Sarah and the team are in sharing those updates. The wonderful teachers hug our children, they support them, help them through hard days, and celebrate their accomplishments. The biggest endorsement for this place came from my 4 y/o. Maybe week three of their being in daycare, I go to pick up the kids. Upon seeing me, my daughter says, "Mom, why are you here?!"
