We found a new child care center that values families and the well being of my child. It's frustrating because as a parent it's your job to advocate for your child but we felt like we had no voice when it came to the matter of our child , at their facility so we had no choice but to move him . We are so taken care of here, our feedback is frequently requested.  Any questions I've had, are answered within hours - day or night.  And I have to give Jamie, the Director, major props because not only is she cool, calm, and collected with great communication skills, but she's also fashionable, stunning, and super funny. In addition to the amazing employees and the beautiful and bright space, this is a quick list of what I love so much about A Child's University: *It is accredited - It is extremely difficult to achieve and maintain academic accreditation.  It shows in all levels of the education. Yes, even my 11 month old had a daily curriculum they follow including themes, art projects, science, math, and health/motor skills. *Daily art projects.  Yep, even in the baby room, they do art! *They exceed the state's teacher ratio standards by staffing more educators in each room than the state requires.  Full time educators have their degree. *It's clean.   *They play music entering and leaving the building, and in the baby room. *They use an app that sends push notifications so I know the minute my son goes down for a nap, has a wet diaper, and how much of his lunch he ate (or threw on the floor as the case may be). *They send several pictures daily and have a live stream camera. *They have a nurse on staff daily. *The staff is so loved, and in return they shower our babies with love.  It makes me smile to see all of the love notes and gifts that the teachers received.

You worry about whether your baby will like the caretaker...whether s/he will like them more than you...whether they will care for your baby as well as you could...and whether they will be kind enough to not tell you that they witnessed your baby's first word/crawl/gurgle/etc. If you're also in tune to the importance of early childhood education, you likely also want to know whether they follow the standards for care and that they are fostering your child's social, emotional, and educational learning and expanding your baby's gross motor skills. Whew. It's exhausting, thinking about all those things...and, as a new parent, I thought of all those and more when trying to decide where to enroll our daughter. A Child's University was seriously one of, if not the, best place we could imagine. Each and every day, she loves going to 'school'. I also love that she can grow there and maintain continuity, as the school goes up until Kindergarten. I have full confidence that she will develop mentally, socially, and emotionally under their watch. They do wonderful craft projects, even with the teensy babies, and every time I pick her up she is happily playing with the various toys or other children - always with one or more of the teachers sitting watchfully. All of this allows you, the parent, to feel good about the fact that your child is engaged all day long. And, while they do have a ton of rules and protocols to follow, I know all are done with safety in mind. The teachers are outstanding. I am not joking when I say that a primary concern of mine is whether they will be sensitive to the conflicting emotion caused by leaving your baby with another caretaker. For that kindness, and for the kindness they show to my daughter each and every day, they get an A+ in my book.

Child's Play is such a special community because of the parental involvement. It's so comforting for me to know that my daughter has both incredible teachers and fellow parents in the classroom to support her when I am not there. I cannot stress enough how truly dedicated and experienced our teachers are at Child's Play. My child requires some additional support. Between offering additional resources for her in the classroom to attending IEP meetings on their own time, the teachers at Child's Play have played a vital role in our daughter's growth and development. A maximum of 5:1 child:adult ratio has allowed her teachers to take the extra time with her when she's needed it. We are very grateful for this very understanding, knowledgeable and autism-friendly community.

The classes are small and personalized. The staff is very friendly and so good to the kids. My oldest has some special education needs and they were also very flexible in working out a schedule with us so that he could attend a specialized program in the morning and then attend the center in the afternoon. They send daily updates about activities and hold special programs and events for the kids to make their experience extra fun. Both of my kids loved attending, and we loved knowing that our babies were extremely well cared for. You can't go wrong with TNN!

The school does have a number of rules and is very structured, which can be offputting at times, but trust that there is a reason for everything that is done at this school. I have seen my son learn to count, add and subtract, recognize and write letters. I've noticed his artwork become more colorful and his creativity soar. The school is more expensive than some others and with this year's winter weather, it was closed more than we would have liked. Alas, you can't put a price on a good quality education and we are proud of the thoughtful boy that we have thriving at BFP.

The Director will constantly gossip with her employees and talk about employees with other employees and start drama between them. it is extremely unprofessional and causes hostile work environment. when the Director gets called out, she doubles down and lies saying that the accusations aren't true and she doesn't know what you're talking about. it is to the point where she is letting employees go who she knows well stand up to her and spread the truth about her. The Director does not want the word getting out that she is the cause of the workplace drama so she is "cleaning house". it's a shame because the children are the ones who are suffering. they are becoming attached to teachers then having to get used to new staff over and over again. even with $1000 hiring incentive bonus on the website nobody wants to work there.
