Barista was very kind, and quick. We ordered a chai and a small coffee, both were hot, and delicious. And the prices were very reasonable.

They have a huge book selection that dominates the area where it could be useful for seating and more accommodating patrons. They do have a counter area where you can sit. One very large couch and chair. Actually felt a little stressed because of the claustrophobic nature of how they have it arranged. Overall, I would go back.

Just imagine a book store meets a coffee shop that also has delicious looking sweet treats (chai donuts was what caught my eye). Telling my wife those little bits about it made her eyes light up with excitement! We showed up and thankfully the major rush already passed and snagged a parking spot. Be mindful it is a small place with minimal parking. We walked inside and looked all around, my wife jumped to the books to browse (pictures of those can be seen on the Antidote Books listing). She did have lots of time to browse, because they only had one barista taking orders then also making them. This would be the only negative I would have to say of this place, I felt bad that it seemed the worker had too much to do. It resulted in quite a wait and I could see them losing some business during rushes from this. I know the space is small but having someone take orders and one making drinks could help. Despite this I still feel they deserve five stars! I got their Golden Sun Milk Iced Latte and my wife got their Iced Matcha Latte. Both were very tasty, expertly made for sure. Also we were lucky enough to get the very last chai donut, and it had a rose frosting. It tasted like gingerbread because the chai spices, wish we could have had more than one. A spot we would definitely return to and try more drinks and bites! No books that we wanted to buy but glad to have found a combo coffee shop/book store. Stop here and give it a try!

Food- 4/5 Overall experience- 5/5…read more It was a fun spot to stop at to break up our drive back to Boston. The lot was small but many people were coming in and out so we didn't have to wait long to get a parking spot or outdoor seating. There are two shops: the deli and market with different vibes and items inside. The market is a quick shop with some snacks, drinks, coffee, and knickknacks. The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Pass on the general tso(?) and the potstickers in my opinion unless you're really craving it. The desserts looked amazing and would definitely get one next time

We were able to get a spot in front with no issue, but I imagine that this was because it was a week day. We chose the Mac and cheese and the maple pulled pork. Both were worth the hype in my opinion. The mac and cheese was super creamy and paired well with the tender pulled pork. The baked goods were nothing to write home about. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.

They are the sister eatery to Echo Restaurant & Lounge. They offer breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, omelettes, waffles, French toast, and breakfast sides. They also offer BYO deli sandwiches & wraps, hot sandwiches, & wraps salads, loaded spuds, wings, and fried foods. The place is order at the counter and there are a few tables inside nearby. There is also outside seating area (on nicer weather days). I've stopped by here twice over the past month. On the first visit, I got here around 1:30 pm, but unfortunately the grill & kitchen closed early. I was able to purchase some baked goods on the counter including a cinnamon roll and a strawberry cheese danish. I was also given an extra cheese danish at no extra charge. On the second visit, I arrived here around 9:15 am and ordered breakfast takeout. I ordered a BYO French Omelette ($12 plus tax) with baked tofu and Swiss cheese, with tater tots and Portuguese muffin. My ordered was ready to in about 10 minutes. I grabbed packets of ketchup and hot sauce on the way out. I already picked up my coffee nearby before stopping here. The omelette was a fluffy folded egg filled with tofu and melted Swiss cheese. The golden tater tots were hot and crisp. The sweet Portuguese muffin was toasted and buttered. Overall, this breakfast was fairly filling to eat and I was all set for the day ahead of driving over Hogback to NY.
