I LOVE LOVE! It's hard for me to put into words how amazing this studio is. To even say it's just a spin studio isn't doing it justice. Love is so much more than that. When I first moved to Austin, I didn't know that many people and was looking for an exercise class. I found Love through Yelp and started going regularly. After only a few times, Morgan knew my name. She would always be the first person I saw when I came in and the last person to say good bye to me when I left. I felt seen in such a huge city and started to feel like I belonged. When I enter the spin room, I'm immediately greeted by Marcus. He always has a huge smile on his face no matter what. Even when he's running around making sure everyone is set up or setting people up in the complete dark. Right before we start, he gives everyone a high five. I can tell he loves being there and that contagious energy always pumps me up for class. When I'm in Megan's class I feel like the world around me stops. The only thing I focus on is myself and the bike. Megan taught me that. Her positive, fun energy lights up the room and she creates a space where you can be whoever you want to be. I've laughed, I've cried, and I've left all my anxiety, fears and stress on the bike. Every day I walk into that room, I'm so grateful that I have crossed paths with her. I work right by here and have been wanting to go for awhile. I moved here last July and haven't done a spin class since I left Chicago. So glad a friend talked me into trying this place with her. Best class I've ever been to! Megan was our instructor both classes and I will definitely be back! Bring lots of water! These guys are the best! I was on the waitlist for a sold out class and the front desk was super helpful in coordinating to squeeze me in for my first class and making sure I got the right shoe size. They even helped adjust my bike so that I could follow the correct form. The instructor, David, was a rockstar too. Love classes are super fun and full of good energy. You will leave feeling exhilarated! I have been a few times and really enjoy the entire experience. I love that the instructors encourage you to challenge yourself but to also make modifications as needed. I'm not as strong a rider yet so I sit in the saddle more during the classes. I went to Higher Love with Megan and was truly blow away by the class. It was so fun, hard, and rewarding. The studio clearly has a great following. Every participant was so pumped up and contributed a lot to the energy of the class. I was in shock at how much energy the instructor brought to the class. Gorgeous studio with killer instructors. Very clean and spacious! The studio offers free bananas, hair ties, ear plugs, and towel service. Wow - I have never had so much fun working out that hard! I had no idea what I was getting into when I signed up for a class at LOVE. The instructor, Morgan, was so energetic and made me excited to push myself. The bike tech, was so helpful - and made me feel like it was perfectly normal to leave my rental cleats snapped-in on the bike. I couldn't for the life of me figure those darned things out! The music, instructor, light show, locker room, post-workout snacks and coffee, and the eucalyptus towels sealed the deal for me. Heaven is a place on Earth aka I love LOVE! Whenever I am feeling down and out in my fitness/health journey, I book a class. So far, I've had classes with Bryan and Melissa. I've cried tears of joy every time. Each class I feel inspired to push myself and temporarily let go of whatever is bothering me. It sounds so corny but it is so true. I never knew I could feel so free and light while exercising! Also, the music is so good! It's great to see my progress as well because my first class I was in the saddle a lot but overtime I have definitely been able to keep up with the instructors and that is definitely rewarding! SO FUN! I'm a veteran Ride rider and an enthusiastic Cyc attendee so it took me a while to get here - but a friend suggested we torched some pre-turkey calories on thanksgiving morning so I took the Beyoncé Vs Gaga class - which was tough, and sweaty, and hilarious - we loved it - and left completely exhausted / totally pumped / definitely planning to come back. It's clean, friendly, has great free parking and is at the right end of 6th for me - Austin definitely didn't need another spin studio, but I'm glad it has one. TLDR : Don't spend your fitness $$ at corporate Soul Cycle - come here instead. read more

I am a serious cyclist training for two big events next year. Saw this place online while visiting Austin and quickly made a reservation. Had my doubts. They don't have bikes that measure power output, cadence nor have a board that makes the class competitive BUT damn! Take a class with DAVID GARZA and be prepared to be flogged!!! HIGH ENERGY, relentless intervals out of saddle and in. Lots of tap backs and arm work in the hour long workout. The space is small but has it all. Showers, lockers, shoes, free bananas and coffee. I have been going to love for over a year now and as cheesy as it sounds, I'm in LOVE. The staff members are fabulous and the classes are even better (if that's even possible)!!! I have a few recommendations on instructors who I personally think have killer classes: Katy: if you want to get jiggy with it, not to be confused with jiggly...this girl has got it going on in the music department AND her high intensity class is a booty lifter and leg killer. It's a great mix of cardio and strength, her hip hop Sunday class is the perfect way to wrap up the weekend. Morgan: uhhhh can you say fast jog? This woman always has the latest and greatest music and will really get those legs spinning faster than you would think they could ever possibly go. She always reminds you about perfecting form, which is oh so helpful. Megan: I'm on that "megang" she is a great instructor and is not afraid to call those veterans out if she doesn't think they have enough turns on their bike! If you want something a little different, yet intense, she's your cup of tea. read more

A competitive swimmer most of my life, I'm no stranger to cardio in many forms. That said, I always DREADED cycling. I tried it once in college and thought "No way I'm ever doing that again." Insert Love, and I'm hooked. I moved to Austin from Chicago a little less than two months ago and since I have been introduced to Love by a friend, I've been coming almost every day. And I mean every. Day. When I'm not traveling for work, I don't miss a day with this amazing group of humans and I couldn't be happier about it. I've even found that traveling back home for the holidays frustrates me, not because of airport security and crowds, but because it interrupts my Love schedule. I mean, who am I? I'm a former barre instructor and while it still holds a special place in my heart, I've been prioritizing Love over any other workout. I just can't get enough! The studio is immaculate, they are ready and waiting with much-needed cold towels outside the studio door, and the overall vibe leaves you feeling like your experience actually matters to them. The instructors are amazing, so inspiring in the best way possible, and I haven't had a less than stellar experience yet. After only a couple weeks of cycling with Love, I've built up the strength and bettered my form enough to be able to hold the interval bursts, a feat that I once thought entirely impossible. This studio is great however as a cycling novice I would have appreciated a little instruction as to proper alignment, positions, and what tap-backs were. Otherwise a phenomenal studio - I always leave feeling great! I highly recommend taking a class with David or Melissa. They both have awesome energy and are kindly pushing you to work at your personal best all the way throughout the class. Unfortunately, I can not recommend Jennifer C. I attended one of her classes and will not make that mistake again. She was basically screaming so loud I couldn't ascertain what instructions she was saying at all throughout the entire class. I left with my ears ringing for hours, which made going to work after class very uncomfortable. read more

After hearing rave reviews from cycling friends about Love Cycling Studio I decided to check them out. First off free parking! Free parking is hard to find downtown but they have it. Upon walking in it was a tad chaotic but the space is modern and nice. There is complimentary fruit, coffee, ear plugs and gum too. I was most excited to see they sell Topo Chico and Clean energy drink, my two favorite non alcohol beverages. The locker rooms have everything you need. Lockers (with USB plugs), blow dryers, sundries, towels and showers. I took a hip hop class and sat from & center. It was cool to see folks of all fitness levels walk in and ready to sweat. The class was super challenging and we spent what seemed like most of the time out of the saddle. It was intense and the instructor made sure we made the most of the 45 minutes we were there. They do have an upper body portion of the class with weights which I do not prefer to do on a bike as it puts pressure on your spine to sit up on the bike without having your hands on the handle bars. However this is all the rage right now and gives you a full body workout and a good workout at that! read more

Love Cycling is the whole package when it comes to cycling studios. The facilities are top notch (sound system is amazing), the equipment is always clean/working, and the staff is always kind. Whether you are a regular attendee or dropping by for a class, you can't go wrong here. You will feel welcomed and energized after a great workout. Some might even say, lit. I have personally taken 5 different instructors and they have all been good. You will find favorites based on class times, intensity, or music preference. Megan is especially good and brings incredible energy and music. Her classes are not easy and will challenge you to achieve goals that were once unthinkable. But why settle for less? Her smile is electric and her beats are fire, so go take her class. Additional notes: Parking is easy, free, and always available. The bikes are very nice. I love LOVE! I've been coming here several months now and have really enjoyed the experience. The staff is helpful and friendly and I have always felt welcome. The staff is available before each class to help set up new riders on their bikes to make sure they have a good ride. Shoes are available to rent for $2 - don't forget your socks because otherwise you'll get dinged and have to buy a pair. And don't ride without socks - that's just gross. They also have Daily Juice available to order before class and drinks are ready after class! Make sure you arrive before your class starts so you can get set-up on your bike. Instructors here always start their classes promptly (thank you!) so don't arrive late! read more

Took my first class yesterday afternoon and am amazed! LOVE has created a beautiful, empowering space with creative and thoughtful amenities! There are USB ports in the lockers so you can charge your phone while you work out. I was handed a cold towel following the class, and they have plastic bags to put your sweaty clothes into so your whole bag isn't stinky or wet from your clothes! It's plain to see that so much thought was put into building this amazing space. Also, the staff at LOVE is top notch! It can be daunting to try something / someplace new. But each and every member of the LOVE staff was friendly and supportive. It was so clear that they all love what they do and are happy to have you be a part of it. That being said, this workout is no joke! You will sweat, you may curse the instructor , but you'll be glad you went. And I can't wait to go back tomorrow! read more

I've road at cycling studios all over Austin -- some seem a little too cliquey, others cater to a younger, college demographic. For some reason, Love does a wonderful job at welcoming all riders and making you feel as if you're part of them -- whether you're an experienced rider or a newbie. I've really enjoyed my rides at Love. I think the pace is great, the teachers are entertaining while on the platform, and the staff does a great job at making sure you're setup properly and have the right equipment. I tend to be a person who usually only enjoys music that I know and can sing a long to but the Love team incorporates old favorites, remixes and new songs that are always catchy and upbeat to perfectly pair with each sector of the ride. I've never been bored or disappointed. I also really enjoy the studio's atmosphere and locker room/shower commodities. It's very spa like in the locker room, with clean soft towels, great smelling products, and charging stations in the lockers. To add to the 'spa' atmosphere, a cool towel greets you as soon as you jump off your bike. It's glorious. read more

This is my go-to spin studio in all of Austin. They are always so helpful and have the best attitudes! You can tell they all love spin and their passion is evident in the work. My friend just asked me why people love LOVE and I realized that I had to post what I responded (ignore punctuation as this was chat people): - If i had a million dollars, i would go there all the time. . . - its a super intense workout, and they have a good attitude - they (the instructors) aren't snobbish about it, they are like "yes we are goddesses up here in our perfectly ripped bodies, but its all about loving yourself. .. " - David will be like "you can do anything, because guess what, you already have" - and i am crying and thinking "gosh darnit, I CAN pedal some more" - oh and then you get a nice cold towel with some sort of herbal stuff on it at the end as you collapse and curse the power of believing in yourself Seriously, I work out all over town, and along with Castle Hill (love me some Castle Hill) this is a home away from home. In my journey to obtain my Basic Bitch certificate, I've hit up a lot of spin classes in this city. Like, a lot. And Love has (no pun intended) won my basic little heart. Obviously, David is a fan favorite. His cult following is well deserved because his classes are intense and awesome, minus the fact that he will call you out for not following his command (but you're right, I WASN'T tired yet). They also have music video classes offered with a few of the instructors, which is a distracting and fun change of pace. Overall, the classes are the same caliber as Ride (obviously because of the overlap of staff) except only 1 block from my current apartment, so I'm obsessed. Minus 1 star for not being on ClassPass. Like I GET IT, but still. Love me some ClassPass. read more

Their front desk is incredibly kind and helpful (especially if you're new), they help you size your bike settings correctly to prepare for class. And the instructors are AWESOME! I attended Ginsa's alternative-rock themed class today and I loved it so much!! I have attended Soul Cycle in the past but wanted to try Love Cycling to try a less expensive alternative. This is the friendliest and cleanest workout in Austin Texas. New to Austin? Or just short on exercising buddies? Not for long if you come to Love. The classes are amazing . Like a group ride. A real sense of community . Did I mention killer workout? KILLER. Great calorie burn , leave feeling exhilarated and ready to kick ass on the day. I have been to quite a few other studios in the Austin area but this one takes the cake. The facility is immaculate and beautiful. All of the staff were very helpful and welcoming.
