Go for sweat class (versaclimber) if you want it fast paced and sculpt class (modern Pilates) if you want to take it relatively slower. Either ways you get to feel the muscles burn the next day :) I personally prefer the Sweat classes , though in my first class I was dead exhausted and planning in my mind to give up in the first 10 mins . 15-classes later, I'm here recommending this to everyone :) Instructors are helpful and friendly, and the crowd is also energetic . Such a great first time experience at S2 today! Lexi was an amazing and attentive instructor, providing great energy and modifications as needed. The staff is kind and helpful as well. They provided a free bloom drink and water for my first class. The sweat foundations class was HARD (in a great way!)...their classes are 30 min, but they are designed to be so efficient and high intensity that you burn a ton of calories and get a great sweat in. This is a full body workout - combo of cardio and working out various muscle groups. SWEAT class is on a versaclimber, while SCULPT class is a modern Pilates reformer. Great music, ambiance, and studio. They ended with a refreshing cold towel & a very thoughtful personalized note from the S2 team. Looking forward to coming back! read more

As a runner/triathlete I'm always looking for new ways to train my body. I've always heard about what a great workout Pilates is so I wanted to give it a try. I also figured that as a guy, I'd be one of or the only guy in the room and I was a little concerned about feeling out of place. Well, let me tell you that wasn't the case at all! I was greeted at the door and as a newbie, instructor Raven gave me an overview of the machine before class. And what a great class! It was easy to get in the groove and follow along, thanks to Raven and a class filled with experienced practitioners, while being a challenging (but body working) 45 minute upper and lower body workout! I was so appreciative that after class Raven sat and asked about how the class felt/went, handed me this card and told me all about S2 and the other classes they offer. Such a pretty, clean, welcoming space too. Now I just have to figure out what package to buy moving forward! Can't recommend this place enough! read more

I started Pilates here at the end of December 2024 after my doctor recommended I try it for my back pain caused from severe scoliosis. I tried a drop in class and was extremely humbled. I am a CrossFit girl/weightlifter and I have learned how much I have great "big" muscles and lack the smaller supportive ones. Raven is the instructor that I've seen the most and she's fantastic. I've never felt out of place and I've been talked through the movements and transitions with clear guidance and explanations. I've taken a few other instructors and they've also been excellent. I do recommend you try the foundations class if you're new to Pilates; there is so much lingo that is slowed down a bit before advancing into the other faster moving classes. On the note of my scoliosis and back pain - this is helping so much and I'm attempting to make one class per week. I definitely will keep this up because my body is so, so much happier! read more

S2 Fitness Studio is everything! I came to visit family and was looking for a workout class I would genuinely enjoy. I went to S2 and was blown away. The young lady working the front desk was so kind and eager to answer any questions I had! From there, Molly was able to show me and 5 other new people how to use the Sweat machine. Molly turned the workout ALL THE WAY UP! She kept us BEYOND motivated and hype the entire 30 minutes. Class concluded with a cold towel, a first time complimentary water, and hand written card thanking me for coming. Side note: their merch is so unique, cute and good quality! I loved the class so much I came back and brought my friend and her mom with me! They loved it. Pia, the owner, is so nice and inviting! I really didn't know what to think of S2 when I curiously booked a Sweat class using GymPass. I barely even knew what a versaclimber was, but it was 30 minutes of something new so I didn't have much to lose. Upon arrival, the front desk was very kind, encouraging, and informative. The instructor/owner, Pia, took me into the classroom and got me well acquainted with the machine. It was simple and intuitive, plus Pia relieved some of my anxiety with her easy temperament. She helped me set a goal, other people loaded in, and class began! The playlist was fantastic and I found myself moving to the beat effortlessly. Pia was encouraging, motivating, high energy, and FUN! Before I could even establish how burned out my legs, booty, and arms were, the class was over! I had doubled the goal we set, burned 400 calories, and left with a red face all in under 40 minutes. Warning... the burn happens so fast that you do not realize how sore you will be the next day- ha!!! I work out hard often and this is a seriously awesome butt kicking. I would make this less than 1 star. they do not pick up their phone so if you start a membership, you have to show up in person. There's nobody at the front do have a QR code where you can scan and download their it did not work and they said they were having issues contracts. which now makes sense. I did a two week trial with them. They made so many errors in the app where I was being charged $15 when I was on a waitlist to get into the class I charged another $15 the next day and then another $25 charge which they say you can cancel within a two hour period and reschedule. None of this is true and if waitlisted and decide to cancel, they charge you lots of side charges.This company is NOT upfront or honest about all these charges that they will charge you. They say if you have an issue just to email but nobody email. The whole experience has been hands-down. The worst experience I've ever. No thank you! read more

I've been a member of S2 for a little over a month and have had the most amazing experience. The studio is beautiful with great equipment and showers, but the community is even better. Every instructor I've had takes the time to get to know me and challenges me to get stronger by providing real-time form corrections and high-energy encouragement during classes. (Shout out to Amanda, Raven, Ang, Molly, Pia, Trevor, and Zaina!) The Sculpt (Pilates reformer) classes provide challenging resistance training that you can feel yourself getting stronger on as you keep going. What really sold me on the studio though is that they also have Sweat (versa climber) classes. I had only tried the versa climber once before, but I am addicted! It's great cardio but works out your entire body and is SO FUN! All the workouts I need are covered here! I highly recommend giving both classes a try! My first class of each I was very out of my comfort zone, but looking back, I'm so glad I stayed with it. Lastly, I'll circle back to the instructors because I can't say enough about how great they are. I'm excited for every class and feel so strong and accomplished whenever I finish a class. Pia makes sure to provide a welcoming and challenging environment, and has built a great team to support that. Being consistent and disciplined in my fitness journey is so much easier now that I have the S2 team supporting and cheering me on. read more

I've been going to S2 since they first opened in December and I have to say I was initially very nervous about starting because it was all very new territory for me. However, from the initial class I felt the warmth and encouragement from everyone in the studio, they really do try and take the time to get to know you personally and are so patient in class. One thing I really appreciate is how they prioritize making sure each student is in the correct form. I have been doing the workout you will find in the sculpt room for 8 yrs now and it has been the reason that my back and core do not go out anymore. I've been going to S2 since early Feb. Totally new to versa climbing and virtually new to Pilates. Pretty well out of shape. The instructors are equal parts warm, welcoming, challenging and motivating. Going to S2 has also greatly improved my strength training at home because my form is so much better. Molly is especially motivating and has high energy. I genuinely look forward to Saturday mornings in her Sweat class! Maddy has super fun themes! I've been going to S2 Fitness since January, and I really like it. The place is very clean and welcoming. Coach Pia (the owner) explained the different sessions and helped me get out of my initial nerves. Coach Trevor is super nice and supportive. The workouts, especially in sculpt sessions, keep things interesting with daily changes for different body areas. Sweat session is more focused towards cardio.
