She quoted me one price but as soon as she realized it was wedding related it went up $100 then she tried to sell me her hair extensions which were astronomical. Then proceeded to tell me she WOULD BE KEEPING THEM lol. She also told me I didn't know how to style my own hair and that she would "teach me". Crazy behavior. Stay away. Go anywhere else. read more

You attend a wedding and you see a facet about this event that stands out above everything else, something so remarkably beautiful and you think: This. This is what I want. This happened to be my experience when attending a good friend's wedding. Above everything, her bridal hair was the most stunning vision that entire evening. A dream come true when I saw it! The deals including multiple services for bridesmaids were very reasonable and the payments made it easier for me on a tight wedding budget. Laura completely elevated my entire bridal experience - she is so talented, an absolute joy to spend time with, and is super professional, while still being so much fun. She captured my 3 bridesmaids' personalities with different, yet cohesive hair for each of them and made both MOB and MOG look and feel gorgeous. Also if she recommends extensions, you should listen to her. She's extremely skilled with extensions, no one even knew I got them. Booking Laura was one of the best decisions I could have made for my wedding! She has such a great eye and is a truly an amazing hairstylist. During our trial she really took the time to understand how I wanted to look and feel, and we tried out a few different types of curls to get it exactly right. Change your hair = change your life. Laura gave me the most wonderful gift in healthy, glossy hair and wedding photos that still make me smile every time I see them. I feel like I struck gold finding Laura, the absolute best hair stylist I've ever had. I was new to town and getting married quickly- I met Laura through Lacey and 805 Makeup (see my separate, rave review for that one!). From our initial consultation, Laura worked to really understand my vision and guide me towards what would flatter and represent me best. Easy to talk to and rocking her own super-cool aesthetic, Laura recommended a series of gloss treatments for my hair and steered me away from trying new color right before my wedding day, just to be safe. I was intrigued, and thus began a beautiful friendship in hair. The day of my wedding, Laura did my sister's, my mom's and my hair- the 3 of us never looked better. My mom's hair is short and Laura made her look stunning (my mom always complains about her hair and she looked AMAZING), and my sister's insanely awesome fishtail braid is still discussed regularly in our family. My look came out exactly they way I wanted- natural, "easy" and elevated. I don't know how Laura did it, but my hair, down and flowy, stayed absolutely perfect and unchanged the entire day- from a 3p ceremony out on windy bluffs (we're talking Beyonce-at-the-Superbowl levels of wind), dinner and dancing until 1:30a, and my look stayed flawless (see attached pictures). Never once did I need a single touch-up. I have never felt so confident and beautiful as Laura made feel that day and I can't thank her enough for it! I'm so happy I have pictures to prove it was real. I continued seeing Laura for glosses and we gradually moved on to color glosses- holy cow, LOVE IT.
