I love perusing this place due to the local goods, friendly baristas and the calm atmosphere. I ended up purchasing a couple of local products. They usually have new local artists who showcase their paintings throughout the year. I ordered their new specialty drink honey cinnamon latte which pairs well with dessert, like cake. The hot honey cinnamon latte (12 oz.) was balanced with the taste of coffee and cinnamon. The pricing are on par with other coffee shops. I look forward to my next visit to Love Local. read more

Cute little spot! I got the honey lavender matcha which was pretty tasty! It was more on the pricey side sitting at $7, but good. The place is small and intimate, so if you are going to study or work there just know that they do play music which seemed a little loud to me that day. read more

So aside from the fact only 1 person was working. Multiple tables were dirty with dishes and food... had to move them myself to sit and make room for my family. The restrooms stunk so bad and the trash cans were overflowing. Please hire a second person to work here to help. Definitely needs more than 1 person. I could tell the lady working was in a bad mood. She didn't greet us or say sorry for the mess. Also the coffee wasn't that great either. Espresso tasted burnt. Took the red eye from Honolulu and landed in DFW--I was in dire need of a coffee fix and definitely wanted to check out some cute coffee shops. I stumbled across this biz while browsing through Yelp and was blown away by the colorful interior of this shop. Like a bug attracted to lights, that's exactly what happened here--the colorful murals in addition to this shop's mission to support local makers, creators, and artists, was all I needed to hear to make the trek to camp out here to get some work done. Clean, friendly, and and bright... what more could you ask for from this adorable shop. I opted for a regular latte and was thoroughly impressed by the coffee being served. Adorable shop! Very Instagram worthy with adorable local goods to buy. I felt there was ample seating inside with just a couple tables outside. Menu was vast but a little pricey. I got a seasonal honey cinnamon latte hot and it was beautiful and tasty. My friend got regular drip coffee and enjoyed hers as well. They have a few pastries, including some gluten free options. So excited to finally see this lovely local (and near the office) coffee shop on yelp so I can give them 5 stars! This is the cutest little coffee shop. Not only does Sara serve up a delicious brew - hot or iced - but also has breakfast tacos, sweets and pies (sweet Lucy's) all from other locals. The shop also supports local artists and artisans which makes my heart so happy. You can shop while you wait on your order and after too! There are several tables for dine in, baristas rock, and she has a couple reserved parking spaces out front. There are also a couple of tables for outdoor chilling. Sara also does pop ups if your business might be interested. Happy to say I drop by at least once a week! You should too! read more

This gem in Ft. Worth is worth a visit. It is the cutest coffee/art shop. They have so many cute pins,stickers, and gift items. I came in to get some work done on my laptop and ordered a chai tea. I love this spot! My only complaint is that they close too early. If you get off work late or can't make it out for a lunch break, you'll have to come back on a Saturday as they have shorter hours than your typical Starbucks or Dunkin. Complaints aside, the coffee is worth it! Every drink I've tried here has been delicious. When I order coffee, I prefer to try their specialty drinks as I only drink boring black coffee at home. If I'm going to pay $5 for coffee anyways, I might as well make it special. They have your usual lattes and mochas and such, along with some of their own specialty creations. The shop is amazing. It's like a real life Etsy store with handcrafted goods from local artisans and makers. Perfect place to pick up a gift for that person who has everything, or even just some art for yourself. Places like this are what gives Fort Worth it's unique local flavor and I hope they stay in business for a long, long time! This area needed a good coffee shop and Love Local knocks it out of the park! Previously I had to drive all the way to Magnolia if I wanted a coffee that wasn't burnt or over extracted. I went to Love Local and got their single origin pour over. There were no burnt flavors. The coffee had fruity notes and a smooth velvety texture. No milk or sugar needed for sure. Plus they have a variety of local gifts you can peruse while they make your drink. My only suggestion to Love Local would be to add info about the beans they use to their website. I was a bit unsure of the quality of coffee to expect before I went, but the coffee I had was more flavorful than many pour overs I've gotten from third wave shops both here and in San Francisco. By adding info to the website they could probably capture more attention from the coffee nerds around here. Great coffee! We will be back. :) read more
