The old lady did a horrible job on my pedicure. She didn't bother to clean under the nail and filed them with no concerns on how it was shaped. When it came to the bottom of my feet she definitely didn't put any effort into smoothing them. I stopped her before she tried to rush and polish them . So I could voice my concerns about the shape and texture of my feet, of course they didn't see the problem not to mention that my service was Paid in Full before she started giving me back $10 off my feet. I went to Loves Nails on Dixie Highway on a Saturday, before Mothers Day, to have gel nails put on my fingers. The older female technician provided the service. The next day, the nails looked absolutely horrible from the cuticles to the base of the nail polish. It chipped and pulled away from the base of the nails and the work looked raggedy. On Monday, when I went back to let the owner see the work that was done on my nails, l was told  to pay an additional $25.00 and next time let them know that I want my cuticles removed before they work on my nails.  I believe that prepping the nails which includes: cutting, filing, cleaning, dead cuticles removal, was part of the cost of getting gel nails. Maybe the reason for getting in and out quickly at nail salon is poor quality of professional service, poor customer service and only a few customers were there on the day that I visited this place. read more

I wish I could give fewer stars. My girlfriend and I went to get pedicures. The water to soak our feet was cold, the store was dirty, we asked for certain services in english and vietnamese (my girlfriend is vietnamese) and they did not acquiesce our requests. They tried to not cut our nails saying they were already short. I didn't realize i was paying for a critique of my nail length. Overall it felt like we paid someone to do a substandard job of washing our feet. We will never return and suggest you steer clear. read more

First let me start by saying I stopped going to this place years ago because they were rude, sarcastic and very condescending. However I decided to give them another chance first time bacK was fairly descent but I went on the 7/3/19 and it was total humiliating. First when I walked in the door I was ask what I wanted I responded fill and peddy and took a seat. Then the lady who does the pedicure looks at my feet and says something (their language) and the man looks around his station and says something as well (again their language). It was my time to be service so I start to walk to the station the man says something (their language) and she races over to grab one of the iron chairs (I'm plus size) to replace with the computer chairs at the station totally unnecessary considering I have the same chair at home and I fit just fine. Embarrassed at this point I sit down and the wife of the man started my nails and half way in she says "I don't know how to do pedicure and she's busy (pointing at other lady)" so we can't do pedicure for you, you come back and we'll do. This should have been stated before starting my nails because I wouldn't have got those done their either. She saw the look on my face and started trying to ask me questions to see how upset I was. Adding insult to injury she she asked two other people were they getting pedicures that came in after me! She must have thought my feet was bad being that I'm plus size because once she finally look down at them up close, she all of a sudden knew how to do pedicures and told me "I do for you" but I told her NO. They have all ways made sly remarks like "you THINK you look sexy with long nails" just uncalled for remarks! read more

I went here on the recommendation of a client of mine and she said they're very clean and professional and she wasnt lying they were. This salon is owned by a Korean husband and wife. I was worked on by the husband and he did a hell of a job on my fill in because the girl that did my manicure at a different salon didnt do it right because I had a lot of hang nails and the guy said it was a terrible job. He proceeded to strip the old gel off my nails and refinish with a new coat of gel. My nails look much better than what the other nail tech did. I will still go to my regular salon which is in the city, but this place is where I'll come to for work on my nails when I am with my client. Very few salons are clean and organized and this was one of them. It was roomy and not cramped for space like many salons and not having a waiting area littered with out of date magazines. Work stations were clean and organized even when they were not in use. Today was not busy so I was able to get in and out within about 45 minutes to an hour. It's right off Dixie Highway when you come south into Harvey inside of a strip mall with a small mexican restaurant and the Harvey Market and O'Reilly's auto parts store so you can't miss it. You have the choice of making appointments or be a walk-in either one works. I know I'll be asking for the guy who did my nails today again since he made them look really nice and corrected the work of an incompetent tech who needed to spend more time training to learn how to do a proper manicure. If you live in Harvey and are looking for a clean salon this is the place to come to. Most complain about the discomfort of how techs treat your nails. I didnt have any discomfort the man who worked on me was very gentle and worked patiently to do his best work. In reading past reviews of salon customers for other places you read about unclean salons and work stations and techs not doing a good job and even injuring the customer while doing a nail job. You want to go someplace where the staff is friendly and courteous and the environment does not scream ghetto. The clientele that come to this salon are working professionals and not ghetto hoodrats. Always get a feel for the kind of clientele a nail shop gets which can tell you what level of service you will get. read more

Manicure was very nicely done - didn't get gel but no chips yet! Not too expensive either. The place was hygienic. I did not get a pedicure but noticed they used liners in their foot tubs. I'd go here again. read more

This nail shop was excellent:) I was looking for a reasonable place to get a full set of acrylic and French pedicure and I decided to check this place out because I called and they said it would only cost $46 for a full set French manicure and French pedicure. They were awesome! I was getting a pedicure and getting my nails done all at once. I came at the perfect down time. They wanted to ensure I was in and out and my nails were perfect when I left . I even got my eyebrows waxed for $7. They did a perfect wax!! I will most definitely be back . read more

I went in there and the place was not real clean, I looked past that thinking it was due to being busy - THEN they told me to sit at the pedicure station and I did when one of the women was finished with the lady next to me she RINSED out her foot bowl -- NO SOAP, NO BLEACH NOTHING and then she went and RINSED OFF THE TOOLS SHE USED TO WORK ON HER FEET AND WANTED TO USE THEM ON MINE! - WAIT IT GETS WORSE!!!!! When she was finished using different tools on my feet another woman getting ready to start someone else's pedicure grabbed the tools she used --- NEVER WASHED THEM OR EVEN RINSED THEM AND STARTED USING THEM ON HER CLIENT!!!!
