Unless you get one of the 2 decent nail techs, the nail service isn't that great. Also if your sign says you're open until 8pm, yelp says 8pm, google says 8pm maybe you should not lock the door at 5:30pm when I can still see people getting serviced inside. Called before I drove here, and was told on the phone that I was ok to come in for a pedicure at 5:30. Got there at 5:30 and was barely greeted when I walked in. Told the guy at the first station closest to the front desk that I called to come in at 5:30. He says they're busy and that it will be 20-30 min. I let him know that I called and was told that 5:30 was ok, and he said "yea you can come at 5:30 but were busy right now". I said thank you and walked out. I stopped in on a Saturday morning about 9:20am. There were 8 people ahead of me. There were only 4 workers. I waited over an hour before I was able to soak my feet. I still had to wait an additional 20 mins after sitting in water. Once I was serviced everything was fine. The staff wetr pretty nice. I usually feel rushed when I go to nail shops but not here. She took her time and did a neat job. My no chip manicure was just as nice. The shop was pretty clean and the prices were reasonable. I'm giving 4 stars because of the long wait and because the eyebrow lady was on vacation. There should always be a backup. read more

I went here based off the great reviews for Ken. I called and made an appointment. When I got there he didn't introduce himself and seemed like he had an attitude. I tried to lighten the mood but no budging with him. Long story short, because I don't need my technician to talk but at least be pleasant in greeting me. My nails looked horrible when I left and even worse now almost 2 weeks later. The color I chose for my no chip was some bootleg brand I've never heard of which is why I guess he needed to do 3, yes 3 top coats. I've never had that many and my nails look too thick. I asked for square round and I have square. The polish wasn't even or all the way up to my cuticles so i walked out looking like I needed a fill in. I'm SO sick of paying for crap service and then tipping on top of it. Foolish me. And yes several of my nails polish have chipped and would be off if I picked at it. Ugh. So annoyed. read more

Brucelee is Great and super friendly; my go to. I would definitely recommend asking what the price is of the services that you want and details of your nails prior to getting anything done. I've been looking for somewhere new to get my nails done because I'm very picky. I decided to try out the new TKT nail salon because I heard it was pretty nice. The technician I had, T, was super kind and he was very talkative which I enjoyed. I could really tell he was paying attention to what he was doing. I had a full set acrylics done and I absolutely loved it. I accidentally grabbed the wrong color and he immediately got up to grab what color I meant to pick without hesitation. I stumbled upon this nail salon after deciding to get an impromptu manicure. The salon was crowded when I arrived but I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be serviced. A nice young lady did my manicure. She wasn't very talkative but she was polite and swift. She did a beautiful job on my manicure in a short amount of time. It's been 4 days now and the polish has yet to chip. The salon is a decent size but they could definitely expand given how crowded it was. By the time I left there was a long line of customers waiting to be serviced. The salon looked reasonably clean and all the utensils they used came out of sealed containers. They offer a small selection of nail polish to choose from which ranges from cheap to high quality. Best of all the manicure only cost me $12 which is a fantastic price for the area. I'd checked out some salons further south that were charging twice that for the same service. I'd definitely visit again if the opportunity presented itself. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They didn't even give me a chance to go in. It's 7:20 and sign on door says they close at 8:00 and they would not open the door when I knocked. They simply looked at me and turned the other way. I knocked about 3 times and they continued to not even pay any attention. I walked to my car and someone walked out then a couple tried to go in and they sent them away. Again way before closing. No sign on door was available saying they were closing early and they didn't even have the audacity to come tell me at the door. I'm writing this as I sit outside the door. Horrible JUST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The brothers are awful people and treat the clients with absolutely no respect! I use to go here years ago when I lived in Oak Forest and noticed the snarky remarks they had with the clients and myself. I never went back till today. My 86 year old mother wanted a pedicure and since this place is so close to her home I figured I'd take her here regardless of my better judgment. They asked if we can sanitize with the hand sanitizer that they provide md for everyone then pulled out the thermometer to test for Covid and a clip board where she had to sign stating she was responsible if anyone gets Covid just as if we were at a doctors office (of which it is fine I respect that every business is entitled to their own rules and regulations) But what got me is that I was advised that I was unable to assist her to the pedicure seat! Mind you she uses a cane to walk and can hardly sit on her own! I was told I cannot walk her and assist my own mother!! Since I was "not getting services" I would not be able to walk help her and I would have to leave! WTH! When in fact I followed all their rules! And they were so rude about it! I have gone to many nail salons and never been treated with such disrespect! No thanks! Wish I could give this business no stars! Stay away from this place it is so dirty and smells too! Closer drive than my usual place. Cuticles were horrible and were cleaned in 25 seconds. Painful with the nippers on me even though she was quick. Dipped the brush without wiping excess off and used globs of polish layer after layer. Polish was gooey 3 hours later and I had to take it off completely. Painful, rushed, and the job of a 10 year old. My usual place is Diva Nails and they are fantastic. I highly recommend you bypass this salon if you want a good service and end results!!! read more

I don't have any complaints. The place is really clean and tools are removed from a pouch showing that they have been sanitized. They charge less than the places around them that doesn't do half as good of a job. They layer on the no chip, they are not too cheap to do a good job. read more

Now, when she applied a scrub to my feet, she asked if I wanted a hot towel.... its $5 more. WHAT? Then because I have worn colored polish before, my nails are yellow, but with a normal french pedicure or manicure, there is a slightly pinkish base coat, or at least its offered, because my nails are Yellow! Place is absolutely disgusting !! Dead flies everywhere. Very dingy and sad looking inside, outdated to say the least. This is not what I think of when I think "salon". Two small men working were both very rude, making odd comments about previous customers that had just left. (As if I cared). The color options were poor and very plain. I came at 5pm Tuesday and there were 4 people working and one lady waiting besides me . They took her in and 30 min later they did my pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was nice but then 2 other customers came and they put me to get my toes dry and they took the other 2 customers nails first instead of me. it was 630pm and I was still waiting for my full set manicure & 2 of the workers left to what it seem was to go get a break instead of taking care of me . So I had enough with waiting so I decided to leave. They don't seem to have priorities with their customers or care that we are waiting so long . Seem like they didn't want to work so I decided to take my business down the street where they took care of me immediately and greeted me properly. Customer service in this nail salon is not great. I feel bad writing a bad review because everyone here is fairly nice, but jeez they need to get better. I've been here 3 times, and all 3 times there have been children of the employees running around the shop. Dangerous and obnoxious!!! People come here to relax! The lady that does my pedicure continuously stops to tend to a baby running around in a walker. Unprofessional... Additionally, the man that has done my nails is.. well creepy. I guess you can say he likes to hit on you while doing your nails, maybe to get tips or something, i don't know. He's asked me if I'm single, I say no I have a boyfriend, he says "boyfriends don't count." I ask if he has a wife and he says "yea but we been together too long I'm ready for something new *winks*" tells me how cute i am, etc. literally no way to make him stop the weirdness! Unfortunately I'm too nice. I was so uncomfortable during my fill in, again this is very unprofessional. Lastly, the final time I was here, I paid for my services and they "accidentally" charged my card twice. I went back in to let them know, and literally had to argue and show the man my personal bank statements to make them refund me the extra money they charged. Also inconveniently had to wait a few days for the money to be refunded to my account. Final straw for me. They've lost a good, generous customer. This is my usual place, I always recommend everyone go here, and have written an excellent review for TKT before. I am sad to say that I will never be going here again. Today I got a full set, asking for my usual almond shaped nails. The nail tech(who is one of my two usual guys) was either in a rush, or simply did not care. He cut my nails as short as possible. Sloppily shaped them into a coffin shape, and when I tried to protest that this isn't what I wanted,and that they we're far too short,he scoffed at me and said to wait a week and they'd grow out. My nails are super thick, poorly painted, and horrendously shaped. I'm always tipping $8 or more to any nail tech who gives me their time. I'm really disappointed. I've never had such a bad set of nails, nor ever had a nail tech been so rude to me. Time to find a new nail salon. read more

Who doesn't love a nail salon with hundreds of colors to choose from and awesome conversation? I'm a loyal customer because they're consistent, they're always nice to me, their prices are fair, and the selection of services and nail polish colors surpass the nearby competition. If anything happens to your nails they don't try to turn the blame on you and make up stories about how you may've damaged your nails yourself! I enjoy this place because it's a family run business that you can trust, and you don't have to worry about certain people doing your nails and messing them up. Everyone here does a great job and I've sent several of my family and friends to see them. I always expect great results from this place. My only warning is this, if you go during the weekend, expect a long wait. The best days to go are Monday and Tuesday evening. read more

I'm giving it 2 stars bc my toes look really good. Beside that, I couldn't understand anyone that works there. Not very friendly. Half way through the pedicure she asked if I want hot towels. I said yes. I have never had a pedi without hot towels. Once we got the bill it cost $5 more. The lady said yes bc of the hot towels and foot scrub. I didn't even get a good massage. I came here with three of my friends for my birthday in May. We had made an appointment. The nail techs got us in not exactly at the time of our appointment, but shortly after our arrival. They don't have as wide an array of nail polish colors on display as I'd like, but I was very pleased with my nails and with their customer service, as were my friends. The lady doing my pedicure was very polite and patient with me. The guy doing my manicure was funny and friendly. So that's why I was not only pleased with the actual look of my nails, but also with their service. Speaking of the nails though, I came in with a picture of what I wanted that I found on Google or Pinterest, and the nail tech made me so happy with his copy on my own nails. I'm telling you, I was ecstatic! I had gone to a different nail shop before with a picture, and was disappointed, so I had some apprehension about going in to another shop with a picture. But it turned out really well. Finger nails lasted about a week. Pedicure lasted like a month (I just took the polish off today). Thank you TKT! I'll be back some day. read more

I went here for years. The last time I went one of the men nail techs charged me $3 extra to polish my little girls nails. He charged $3 extra because I asked for 3 colors ; pink, purple and blue.
