So I'm down in Florida visiting my family for the holidays and really needed a fill. Since it's the beginning of flip flop weather at home and well into it here I also need to do something about my winter troll feet! I looked up a few places and even went to a different one but everyone was booked. I have a party tonight, I need these gnarly feet fixed!! So my mom says, go to Love's, we go there all the time. Ok! Like with anything, my first stop is Yelp. Yikes! Doesn't look good at all! But mother knows best so I said what the heck and decided to chance it. A gentleman did my nails and I think he did a pretty good job. He was very thorough and checked and double checked his work. His paint work wasn't perfect but he did a nice job. I had some water transfers I wanted out on too and I think he hadn't seen them before so they aren't perfect but still look nice. Let's talk about my feet. I feel sorry for this poor man, those toes are frightening! He tackled those ugly things without any hesitation and put some extra attention in which I desperately needed. I decided to go the full Nelson since it was my first pedi of the season and did the deluxe with paraffin and hot towels. It was very relaxing and felt wonderful. Afterward my feet actually looked human! Looked pretty darn good in fact and I was thoroughly relaxed and refreshed. All in all, I think it was a pretty darn good experience and I would definitely come again. read more

I visited Love Nail a few weeks back for a pedicure because I couldn't get into my normal salon. My sister used to go there and recommended it. They were very nice and did a good job but the lady that was working on me was a little rough with my feet. I think she might have just been in a hurry but it wasn't the most pleasant experience. It wasn't very relaxing because it hurt and I was tense. She did a good job on my polish but unfortunately it started to chip off within about a week. Usually my polish lasts almost a month before I have to have it redone. If I go back to visit hopefully they won't be in such a hurry next time. read more

We made appointments. They were great to accommodate. Two pedicures. Two full sets. One set. Great job. Both pedicures and other full set are the worst. $119.00 for full sets after tip. We have been coming to Love Nails for almost 15 years. The staff is friendly, although on the quieter side and some see that as rude. They do a nice job on their pedicures and manicures. I have not had anything else done, but they do offer other services as well. One thing I'm a little disappointed in is the new "menu" for pedicures. Pedicures used to be OSFA, and you got your calluses taken care of, a little bit of a leg/foot massage, etc. Now everything is a la carte, but I've seen that at every other place I've gone to lately as well. In my mind, just set your price as you want and do a full pedicure and leave it at that! read more

So I was referred to this nail shop by a past nail tech that worked there. She did explain she lefter because it was unprofessional. That same nail tech became sick the day of my appointment from another shop. So bc she had worked here before I thought I'd give them a shot. They have pictures on line showing nail art. When I arrived I told him I wanted a pedi and nail art. He turned me down and said they don't do it there. I proceeded to get my pedi. I arrived at 1:15 my pedi was done at 2:20! this was bc the owner failed to communicate he was waiting on his daughter to arrive to do my nail art so he took his time on my pedi. Now pedi is done, another nail tech talk long hair walks in . Rude does not say hello to anyone in shop not her employees or customers. She has a younger BLACK girl also her "friend" waiting to get her nails done. The owner as me to sit in his chair. As he starts to do my nails to young tech sits with the young lady. Young tech conversation: I fight, I drink, cussing saying she is always in trouble. Mind I know the owner knows English, he is allowing the conversation to continue. Let me say if I was a WHITE women he would have told her to stop talking. Ok he proceeded It's now 3:11 I ask how much longer he says 15 mins then explains the young tech is going to do the design. So I said excuse me how long do you think it will take in while to complete bc I have to be somewhere by 4. With an attitude she said IDK ANOTHER 15-20 mins . I said so I won't make it out by 4 she said no. then started yelling IF YOU WANT US TO RUSH WE CAN DO A RUSH JOB ITS UP TO YOU. Me: Lol you aren't rushing ANYTHING I PAYING FOR. I won't pay for services not completed. The NAIL TECH THEN CALLED 911!!!!!!!!! yes she the same young girl sitting in front of her young BLACK friend, calls the cops bc SHE was in a bad mood and felt unpowered. I remained calm and waiting for the cops as the owner fished my nails. Which I have pictures of cuts on my finger from when his hand was shaking. I then asked where are the cops you called. She claimed they said call back if I actually don't pay. Little flat face dummy. I WOULDNT EVER GO BACK AND I WILL WRITE A REVIEW UNTIL THE NEWS DOES A RACE INVESTIGATION BC THIS IS NORMAL FOR THEM ACCORDING TO GOOGLE REVIEWS. One word: RACIST. My mother and I came here on several occasions over the course of the past several years. Each time we walked in, no one greeted us. Yet each time a white customer walked in, they got a very nice and warm welcome. We pay money and bleed red just like everyone else. My hubby surprised me with a mani/pedi/brow package. I thought sweet.. I will head right over. When I got there the atmosphere was dull, drab and depressing. Not warm and inviting. People were being turned away and asked to come back on another day at 2:30 in the afternoon. The TVs were muted.. Okay job done on my nails and brows. But the somber look on the employees face was a real turn off for me. 2nd try- Not for me.. Harsh atmosphere, every time I walk in there I feel like someone just got told off. They do a great job on pedicures and manicures. I believe I had everyone that works there, I'm not picky and haven't picked a favorite. Staff are very quiet which I don't mind, I'm not there to make new friends. Not speaking at all except to pick a gel polish color and to pay works for me. This place is my favorite for pedicures. They offer several types of pedicures to choose from and I always leave with my feet feeling sooooooooooo soft! They have always been friendly and sometimes offer discounts (last time was $5 off). I highly recommend this salon. read more

I have been going her for some time and the husband always does my pedicure. He does a very good job. However, on my last appt., they were running very late, so they had the daughter Start on me after about 30 minutes. I told her very nicely that I had to be done in 35 minutes so just skip everything but clip and paint. They all spoke Vietnamese to each other and then the wife took over on me. She was very rough and hurt me several times. I could tell she was mad and was definitely taking it out on me!! I won't be going back or recommending it to anyone else! read more

Worst nail salon experience EVER! When I arrived, the owners, husband and wife were the only ones there, no customers at all. With no greeting to speak of, they motioned me to sit with the wife. She began my nails without saying a word to me and continued her conversation in Vietnamese with her husband the whole time she was working on me (that is just rude, in any culture!!) She did not shape my nails the way I asked her to and then got very upset when I asked her to change the shape, telling me I should have told her before she did 5 fingers. She began speaking again only to her husband in loud tones, again in Vietnamese and they were clearly talking about me, while she pinched my fingers very hard and began filing again. I pulled away and her husband asked me to move to his chair to "fix" my nails, but never said a word to me, meanwhile his wife is STILL going off and then got up and stormed into their back room. I was near tears by this point- feeling horrible for speaking up....and then I remembered, I AM THE CUSTOMER. I was not rude or demanding, I asked nicely for what I wanted (using the same vocabulary I've used at other salons for 20+ years with no problem.) I left half way through a full set because I felt so mistreated and upset..and my nails look awful, to boot. Clearly, the owners of this place have gotten spoiled with being in a great location with lots of foot traffic. They've forgotten how to be courteous, flexible and that the number one rule is- the customer is always right! Now...I have to go find another salon to take these horrible nails off and start all over again. Oy. read more
