I took my older dog to a groomer a couple of years ago and they cut his warts really bad. I have been a hesitant to take him to the groomers again. The groomer at Love Pet was awesome. He took his time with both of my senior dogs and they came home without any damage to their warts. My boy dogs cut is so handsome with his teddy bear cut. I will definitely be a regular at Love Pet from now on.

Carol took great care on my long haired miniature dachshund. She explained everything and gave me a valid expectation of how short or long I wanted my dogs's fur to be trimmed. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. She did a great job! My dog looks adorable and I would highly recommend her. Very friendly staff. Also, they are located next to a bomb taqueria so there's a great food option while you're waiting.

As a doodle owner I have to get my dog groomed -- and frankly I'm not patient enough to spend more than 15 minutes brushing or washing my buddy. This shop is wonderfully patient with him, and every time I've been there, the place has at least 1 or 2 other poodles (or mixes) happily in the pen. That should speak to their service. Christian usually takes care of my buddy. He is incredibly polite and he also takes the time to hear my concerns before and after grooming. I feel like he's immensely attentive -- as he takes notes on what I liked or didn't like about the cut; he notices when I'm early, stressed, etc; and he offers help for tackling various issues (matting, dry skin, etc). He is great! My buddy leaves here with a cute bandana or bow tie, and even though my dog hates being groomed, he doesn't seem stressed when we pull up. read more

Theres not enough Great Things I could say about Pablo, he is the best of the best extremely talented I been bringing my Pomeranian to him for over two years now and there's no one that I will trust more than Pablo, he lets his job speak for himself he's wonderful every single time. I could rave and rave about how wonderful this place is to take your fur babies for grooming. Pablo is so caring to the dogs and such a great people person. I can't say enough about Carol, my dog groomer. I moved here recently from the Chicago suburbs, and had the same groomer for 20 years. My dogs are all seniors, 3 of them. Carol actually took the time to call me because my eldest, 15 was having issues. I always worry about him, and found it to be so kind of her!! Thank you Carol! The dogs love him and his staff and they are always happy to return -- and are not too anxious to be picked up either. Pablo and Carol are a great team! I love these two. I have more contact with Pablo. He does a fantastic job each and every time. We love this guy like family. He makes us feel like "family". His fee is such a GREAT VALUE and you get more than you expected. He use to groom show dogs and you know how scrutinized those cuts can be by the owners and judges. SHAME ON THESE TWO GROOMERS. Please, please don't bring your dog here. I'm mortified that I even left my dog in this situation. There is better care at PetSmart. I own a 7 year old Yorkshire/Biewer Terrier that gets groomed professionally every 4-5 weeks. My other groomer wasn't available between travels so I found Love Pet Grooming and given a 12pm appointment slot two days prior. When I arrived, the place was quite unclean, the office to the left had food wrappers strewn about and there were dogs waiting to be groomed on questionable cement floors (didn't see bedding). The dogs looked quite unclean & in need of grooming. I didn't know what to say or do but hoped my dog would be in & out quickly. The owner wasn't there so I explained to the woman that my dog recently underwent cardiac monitoring so his hair was a little uneven (about 8 weeks old) and explained the length of his hair I desired. Nothing new needed to be done to accommodate him because of this. The vets just had to rule out a heart condition and did so. We chatted about the length a bit and no questions were asked about adjustments. Five hours later, I called the place wondering the status. I received a 'text only' reply so I asked his readiness via text. No reply. For 45 minutes. I got a bad feeling. I drove to the place and said I was here to pick him up. Same dogs were still ungroomed laying about. And he said Uh-oh when he heard my voice asking for my dog. They had only bathed him and he was sitting in a dryer 'because of his heart condition'. (I personally find it more likely that it was laziness). The man said 30 more minutes. I explained that I needed to take him now because no one would answer the phone and I already had to drive there to find out what was going on. Plenty of excuses were given about his heart, that Saturday's were busy, why he was too busy to answer the phone, etc. The owner seemed very unphased. Perhaps he should stop socializing with some visitor while grooming if they were so slammed. My dog was handed to me wet and shivering. I didn't stay to discuss this further as I could feel myself feeling guilty and mortified for leaving my dog here. On the drive back, I also realized that they never asked about recent shots --- meaning that the other dogs all just sat there for an entire day without health records. I didn't see dog beds. Or ample water dishes. Was he taken outside during this whole ordeal? If you have a cageless grooming situation then these things have to be considered, much like a doggy daycare. I dried him at home and realized they didn't clean his face and his eyes were still teared up. Laziness. In hindsight, I never should have left my dog there. Quality of care and professionalism is extremely low. If you care about your dog, please just find someone else and save the heartache. read more

I had just gotten my 9 week old Shih Tzu and taken him to the vet to check him out to get the purchase finalized. He passed the Vet exam with no problems. My next step was to get him groomed and looking like a beautiful puppy. So I dropped him off for his first bath and haircut. About 30 minutes latter I received a call that my puppy had a problem with his eye. Pablo had seen a spot on his eye ball that hair growing on it. That was impossible because I just had him checked over by his vet. I rushed over to get my puppy and Pablo showed me a patch of hair growing on the white of his eye. I was panicked and rushed him back to the vet and they said yes this is called Dermoid. The vet had never seen one in person but showed me a picture in the medical book. Another vet came in to also take a look because she also had never seen one in person. To make a long story short after spending over $2,000 it was removed by a specialist. We have a 9 month old Mini Aussie, who our vet has described as a Pandemic Puppy because we couldn't do any socialization for months. This has caused her to be afraid of other dogs and people she doesn't know. We asked her trainer where we should take her to be groomed since she is not comfortable yet in new places. She suggested Love Pet Grooming. I called and spoke with Carol, she was very understanding when I told her about Ky so I made an appointment. We took her in today and we were both really concerned at how this was going to go. It went absolutely GREAT. Carol took wonderful care of her. When we went back to pick her up, she was in their front office with several other puppies and a cat..Ky was just hanging out like the other puppies being very normal and she even liked the cat.
