It was a bit confusing on how to get to the meet up point for me (make sure you have extra time to get to the train station) but I found the mermaid water fountain next to platform 24 and the Chalet Ciro restaurant. The van had air conditioning and the seats were decently comfy, had a great tour guide, and afterwards we drove to a winery for wine tasting, a charcuterie board with meats and cheeses, and some pasta. I learned from a YouTuber that there were great views of the city from the East River Ferry, so I caught it to Dumbo. Purchasing tickets was easy enough from one of the kiosks. During our wait, there were seats available under a covered area. Boarding and exiting the ferry were easy enough - just be careful if your shoes have little traction and it's wet outside. The ride went smoothly. The only bummer was that the upper deck was closed off, so everyone sat inside which made it hard to get great pictures. Not sure why they did that, but I'm assuming it was safety reasons due to light and intermittent showers.

(Oh, and let's also note that 1 star review right next to mine.) First off, I smelled your shit when approaching your vessel upon arrival. I did NOT use your restroom at that time. I used the restroom much later on, and guess what? That smell you claim that should have only been present while on dock...was PRESENT when the lil' vessel was NOT docked. Just saying... AND, as a very proud former Cheesemonger of Cowgirl Creamery (look it up sweetie, it's a REAL gourmet cheese shop), I can tell the difference between real cheese and real supermarket-level cheese. Anyone (and I do mean ANYONE) can slap a Gorgonzola or Brie label on their package, it doesn't make it gourmet, nor does it mean its any good. I am speaking from a Cheesemonger's perspective though... I didn't say your food was poorly displayed. I should have mentioned that the display was not bad at all! FAR from the best I've seen for a corporate event, but not bad. The random sea shells and decorative dead marine life you tossed in is questionable though. How often do you reuse those things? And how do you clean them? Should they be touching our food to begin with? If this sample party was your A Game, you failed miserably. I think this one is the better of the two transportation centers in East Brunswick to get into the…read morecity. It's enclosed and it's a lot easier to tell when the bus is about to arrive. Unfortunately it's a pain when it's rush hour because getting here around that time can be confusing. The location is really good because it's near the Turnpike, Route 18, and (U.S.) Route 1. Buses run roughly every half hour into the city after 4 so that's a plus. Another nice alternative over going to New Brunswick and waiting for the train.
