    Pho Vietnamese Noodle Soup

Have been ordering from here for a few months now & have yet to been disappointed by them! Always get take-out after work, and the portion size is great, not to mention the cheap price for the pho @ ~10 bucks! Lots of parking options as the restaurant is right next to a giant open lot from Harris Teeter. Also very clean environment inside with plenty of seating options. VERY friendly staff & the food is always ready within 10-15 mins! Definitely recommend for those that live in town or passing by.

We order from here about 2-3 times/month. We enjoy the Thai iced tea, pad Thai, pho and fried rice dishes. Tonight was a big let down. We decided to try something new, Siam beef, pictured in the attached photo along with the calamari appetizer. The beef was seasoned nicely and tasted good but the portion size was so small it was more like an appetizer! The calamari and beef dish was approximately $25 worth of food. Not worth it.

Highly predictable for Thai. Guy Fieri won't be stopping at this restaurant. Small portions of very average food. Preparations were fast. Noodles were watered down from too long in water. Sauce average packaged. I'd go again only because there was nothing bad and it saves me from a longer drive to Charlottesville. If they put some pride in their food, it would go a long way. Someone should tell the owner that posting obviously fake 5***** reviews willl lose them customers.

I went in without any expectations and was totally happy with this meal! I didn't really know what to expect, since I heard iffy things about the Thai place that used to be here (Bankok 99). Came for dinner on a Friday night and there were a good amount of people inside but we were still seated and served right away. The layout inside is a little weird. It seems like they have a lot of open space they could utilize better. I got the noodle soup with veggies and it was delicious and full of flavor, and the portion size is huge. My parents got the spicy eggplant & the siam beef and were extremely happy with both. The food and prices were great and we were really pleased so we'll definitely be back!

Excellent Thai food. The Drunken Noodles, Red Curry, Panang Curry and Basil Fried Rice were all awesome. The service was tops. Would definitely go here next time we are in the area.

Average at best. Not spicy enough. Calamari serving wasn't large enough. Not worth the price.

We planned to share everything b/c we were hungry and wanted to try Thai in a different city. We ordered the Chix Satay which came in a decent amount of time after ordering and was presented in planks vs on a stick which Im used to but regardless, cooked SO well and came w carrot & cabbage twirlies and peanut sauce! Delish! Entreés; My bf ordered the Pineapple fried rice and I ordered the Crying Tiger. OMG. The meat was very well seasoned, spice sauce served on the side and more carrot and cabbage twirlies. The Pineapple fried rice was also very DELISH and a decent portion with enough to take home. There was a SOLID chicken to pineapple ration which is so so important when considering mixing chix and pineapple

The only thing that would make it better would be if it was ground chicken. There was a ton of it, so I had lunch covered too. I also tried the Crying Tiger appetizer and it was delicious. It came with some chili sauce so you could spice it up to your taste, and that was appreciated. I would like to have had the option of chopsticks, but since it was close to closing time, and I eat faster with a fork, I didn't ask for any. The service was great, a team effort, and that seemed to fit with the casual yet classy feel of the restaurant. It's a great place to go have a chill evening with spicy Thai food and a couple of cold beers. I would definitely go back.

This restaurant and owner deserves all the recognition and appreciation in the world. I really cannot emphasize enough how much I love this place. No Thai food at all....and thus is my review. Food (3 out of 5): We ordered the Chicken Panang Curry and Pad See Ew beef. The panning curry was my favorite of the two entrees. The chicken itself was tender and good, the broth was far too thin to be a good curry, but the flavor itself wasn't too bad. It was unfortunate that it did not look like the photo, it was missing the red peppers and the basil leaves. The Pad See Ew beef....well, I am a huge fan of this dish and get it every possible moment. This one was definitely not my favorite - the sauce itself was a bit too "fishy" for my taste. The noodles were pretty mushy by the time they arrived and they seemed to be the dry rice noodles (not the fresh ones.). The beef itself, which is a $3 upcharge, was good, though.. So, I would order the curry again and perhaps order a non-noodle dish next time.... but I would order again, with my expectations in check. Also, I would ask for chili paste, soy sauce and chopsticks!
