My friend did the beef drunken noodles with a side of white rice which he gave a 4/5. The restaurant itself is small, so more of a take out place rather than dine in is the vibe I'm getting. First thing given to me was a free soup. It appeared to be some form of vegetable soup. It was very clean, warm, and sweet to the taste. Vegetables weren't completely soggy despite being in the soup; shredded lettuce still had its crunchiness intact. Not bad at all. You could say it prepared the stomach for the main entree. My go-to at new Thai restaurants is always Pad Thai since it can be quite comparable and at times, quite distinguishable from restaurant to restaurant. Pad Thai here was more moist than other restaurants I've tried where the dish can be dry at times. Flavor of the pad thai was subtle but still very present. It was quite interesting to see the height of the entree due to the amount of beansprouts and carrots placed on top. Nothing particularly unique about the Pad Thai here, and so it's tough to say that it's the best in the area. I do not know of many Thai restaurants here in Crozet, VA, but as of right now, Love 2 eat is not a bad pick! Info - They offer dine-ins. Spices are in plastic mini containers which I assume is because of covid protocols. You're given styrofoam cups for water and vegetable soup. Spacious seating inside. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed this Thai restaurant and here's why! Food: A- A lot of their dishes have been spot on, especially the Drunke Noodle and Pad See Yew. The flavor and spicy levels are really great and leaves us wanting more. Portions and sizes are also solid and will definitely leave you full. Price: B- Their prices are about average for the area, but I definitely think you are getting what you pay for, if not more. Parking: A- They share a lot with Harris Teeter and some other shopping in the small plaza, but I have never had to wait for parking or find anything remotely far. I believe they are still only doing take-out at this time though. Staff: A Staff and service have all been very professional and nice. Overall: A- Minus a couple of the appetizers, we thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite of this Thai place. Will absolutely come back for more. read more

Have been ordering from here for a few months now & have yet to been disappointed by them! Always get take-out after work, and the portion size is great, not to mention the cheap price for the pho @ ~10 bucks! Lots of parking options as the restaurant is right next to a giant open lot from Harris Teeter. Also very clean environment inside with plenty of seating options. VERY friendly staff & the food is always ready within 10-15 mins! Definitely recommend for those that live in town or passing by. read more

We order from here about 2-3 times/month. We enjoy the Thai iced tea, pad Thai, pho and fried rice dishes. Tonight was a big let down. We decided to try something new, Siam beef, pictured in the attached photo along with the calamari appetizer. We typically REALLY enjoy the food here AND it is great with great flavors...however...the last time we dined in, our rice was hot but both of our dishes were really cold. . My husband ended up eating half and taking the rest home to heat up in the microwave. The restaurant wasn't very busy and I think the timing was just off. I went in without any expectations and was totally happy with this meal! I didn't really know what to expect, since I heard iffy things about the Thai place that used to be here (Bankok 99). Came for dinner on a Friday night and there were a good amount of people inside but we were still seated and served right away. The layout inside is a little weird. It seems like they have a lot of open space they could utilize better. I got the noodle soup with veggies and it was delicious and full of flavor, and the portion size is huge. I think the rave reviews people have never had real Thai food. This place sucks! We were in the area and tried this place because I didn't feel like having fried chicken or pizza. No atmosphere to speak of: just like the restaurant's name, the space has no imagination. instead, it has a cold, empty feeling due to being cavernous and sparsely furnished (see the pix used to advertise). The food was just really bland. So yes, you can have a meal here, but it's not going to be a culinary experience. What really broke it for me was their pad thai. a) its appearance had no life in it, b) it was off. I should have sent it back, but I felt bad doing that. Didn't want to be "too picky", so I struggled through some of it. I am paying the price in the bathroom now. read more

I ordered a chicken green curry for take-out this past weekend, and it was the third spiciest thing I ever put in my mouth in my entire life, and I didn't even order the spiciest option! I use drunken noodles as a Thai benchmark. It isn't a complicated dish but a good restaurant will demonstrate good technique to enhance the flavors. This place had the worst I've ever had. The noodles were clumped, so some didn't cook all the way or at all. The vegetables were sparse and undercooked. There was no Thai basil, a staple of the dish. The meat was rubbery. Also ordered the chicken satay. I think it was previously frozen and microwaved. It was not grilled. Thai tea was bland, like it hadn't steeped long enough. On top of that, this place charges for its meals what I would pay for a top shelf place in DC or NYC. The last owners weren't great but the food on some occasions was decent. I don't think we'll give this one another shot. read more

Still dissatisfied with the quality of food received from Luv2Eat. We ordered fairly typical Asian fare - fried rice, egg rolls, and won ton soup - and none were up to a good standard. I had gotten the Bangkok combo, Arkahnay noodles and the appetizer sampler. First off, the appetizer sampler was perfectly fried and came with a variety of apps. When paired with the dipping sauces, the flavors were amazing. The Bangkok combo was just your average run of a brown sauce stir fried dish. Veggies were not overcooked, however the chicken may have spent too much time in the heat. Lastly my favorite out of all the dishes I got was the arkahnay noodles. I got medium spicy and it was the perfect spice level. The noodles had just enough bite to them and was not over cooked. The proteins in the dish were cooked perfectly. Overall the flavor of the dish had me wanting more. 10/10 would recommend trying this place if you're local or visiting Crozet! read more

Love2Eat does a brisk take out business but my wife and I decided to eat in. The decor of the dining room is very spartan. It is all tables, no booths. They were very busy when we went, every table except one was full. I would say the dinning room is not real inviting for a romantic dinner, but if you are just there to eat good Thai food it is comfortable enough. We had the Panang Curry and Pad Peanut Sauce both with chicken.There was virtually no wait for our food it came very quickly. The waitress brought us two medium plates pilled high with Jasmine rice and the two entrees in separate dishes. We weren't sure we could eat all that rice, but we did. Both dishes were excellent. We especially enjoyed the flavor of the curry. The lime leaf in the curry was especially pleasing. The Pad Peanut sauce was very mild and came with steamed broccoli that was just right, not overcooked.We both enjoyed Thai iced tea along with our meal. Normally I would have ordered an appetizer but the appetizers were pricey and in some cases, like the egg rolls, just too much food for two people. They bring 4. I would recommend Love2Eat. The only way to eat here is with takeout I'm guessing because the service was nonexistent.. We waited 15 minutes to get menus 30 minutes to get food and part of our order was never even delivered. They are grossly understaffed in the main kitchen. My wife's food was really tasty however but my pad peanut chicken seemed watered down and really bland. I'd love to support local small businesses as best I can so maybe I would consider takeout orders in the future. But that's it. read more
