Super cute with a great selection of romance novels and super kind staff. They answered questions with a smile and even gave us recommendations of other places to check out. Love seeing smalls businesses support others.

I am OBSESSED with Lovebound Library! I try to go in as often as I can because they have really cute reading supplies, totes, stickers, bookmarks and of course a huge selection of romance books! I love that they put a little pride flag in the books that have characters that are +LGBTQ+, they sort their books nicely so that I can easily find the books I love! The staff is so friendly and helpful! I truly enjoy every moment of my time while I am here!

The absolute cutest little indie bookstore ever! So jealous that Nevada doesn't have one. They have so much book wise to little book souvenirs! The service was incredible. They were so sweet and friendly made you feel so welcomed.

Such a cool bookstore! I've never been to a romance centered bookstore before and it's my favorite genre so it was a match made in heaven to visit here! My first trip to the store was also the day that they had the fantastic author duo, Christina Lauren, signing books! They have such a huge variety of romance books that you can wander through the store and touch and read! In addition to books they also offer reading supplies and goodies such as stickers, totes, bookmarks, merch, and more! The employees are also very knowledgeable and helpful too! The day that I went they had a deal where based off of how much you spent they provided you with additional gifts such as a free ARC copy and a tote bag too! I'm definitely going to return to my new bookstore of choice and support this fantastic, small local business!

    Cute sign

I've been to author events through love blind but I went into the store for the first time today and loved it! The staff were super friendly and it was a very inviting and clean space. If I lived closer I would be there all the time!

This is a cute romance bookstore that was located near my airbnb when i visited Utah. I LOVED all the cute decor and items you can buy that are bookish. They support a lot of local businesses and artists bookmarks, kindle sleeves, clothing and so much more. They have so many books from different genres and it looks like they decorate by seasons. Service was great! They also have a small room in the back of the store with more clothes, a couple chairs to sit in and other cute bookish items to buy.

Such a cute girrrrrrly girl type of book store. Tiny store, but such heartfelt vibes and packs a punch in the romance realm. If you need a gift for your book loving peeps, this is a great place. I absolutely love how their lovebound library t-shirt has the brick store on it. I hope that's the logo cause it's simply so cute and would purchase more merchandise with it. They have bookmarks, key chains, mugs, totes, candles, fragrance, stickers, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and of course... romance BOOKS! I can't get enough of their stamped store bags. All in all, great location within the Maven district on 900 south. Literal definition of a book lovers souvenir gift shop. I promise if you purchase something there it will give you that simple bliss feeling.

I'd never before heard of a bookstore that only carries on genre-such a unique idea! Lovebound Library only carries romance books-along with some fun accessories (bookmarks, candles, etc) to go along with the theme. It makes me wonder, are there other bookstores out there that specialize in just horror, mystery, fantasy? What a cool concept. This shop is pocket-sized...really, it's tiny. I love all things miniature, so it speaks to me. But it also attracts lots of people, so it gets a bit crowded inside. I popped in, shuffled around with other shoppers for a few minutes, and then made my way for the door pretty quickly on Independent Bookstore Day. Duh. Of course it will be packed on that day. I'll come back on a Wednesday at 2:00. Maybe it will be a little less busy then. I'm so glad to see this shop is getting some love. They seem to be a great place and I'm excited to return.

Visiting Salt Lake City on a work trip and stumbled upon this gem on Instagram. I could not wait to go so I grabbed the girls and away we went. It was a unique book shop with adorable bookish trinkets, a great selection of all things romance, apparel and more. Walked out with two books from my TBR list (that my local Barnes & Noble never stocks), the cutest kindle charm, a book pouch, a shelf sign and my favorite item - a bookmark holder! I can't wait to add these lovely touches to my home library. The staff was lovely and we were sure to join the loyalty program. Will be returning on my next trip in November!

What's not to love about this unique and carefully crafted shop?! It's apparent that the items in this store are hand selected and the design of the shop is so thoughtful. Very friendly employees and though it's a small shop, everyone in the store was happily browsing items and even helped with recommendations. Love supporting small businesses!

Cute little romance-only bookstore that recently opened in SLC. This is a very small bookstore and the sections aren't very large. I was disappointed by how small the fantasy section was, considering romantasy is extremely popular these days. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed! I'm happy for the owner, who was there working, but it took away from the experience for me; I wasn't able to peruse the shelves like I wanted to. I felt pushed along by other impatient customers. Maybe it's less busy during the week? I did purchase a sticker and two books that I'm excited to read! The prices are typical of any new bookstore - those three items cost me $42.

Utah finally has a romance only bookstore!! This shop is woman owned & operated with a decent selection of books, but excellent selection of bookish accessories (candles, bookmarks, mugs, etc) made by local artists. Courtney is so wonderful to talk to! The only downside is the size. It's much smaller on the inside & it gets crowded fast.

Cutest little bookstore there is! I had no idea something from the 1960's would have been preserved…read moreso well with everything still intact (that I could see!) This bookstore had such a good variety of books for all ages and it was very well- organized. The staff here are so welcoming and helpful with any questions we had and customer service was definitely 10/10. They also have this great program where they will buy our books in trade for points that can be used towards your next book purchase. This also helps with why they have such a vast variety of books to choose from. Highly recommended for any of your bookworm needs!

I feel like I've been left out of a huge secret (that I now believe shouldn't be a secret at all)…read morebetween when I got to Salt Lake some twenty years ago and 2025 when I finally stepped foot into Central Book Exchange... but I will just say I'm glad I found them when I did. Calvin and the whole crew are super friendly, caring, and--this is clutch for bookstore folks--great at helping readers find books they'll love. The curated collection in the main room is truly well-maintained and sourced, and they've got a ton of catalogued backroom-stock, too, so if you don't see something, be sure to ask for it! They've got a convenient ordering system and text me when my books are in. They buy used books for credit in the store in the form of a point system that is easy to understand. They have local authors and publishers (present company included!) in the store on a regular basis and especially on Sugarhouse Art Walk nights. The music is chill (instrumental math rock was on last time I was in the store, yay!), and the vibe is comfortable. Most importantly, I felt welcomed and like I could find a book for me in CBE. Check them out!

Most of…read morethe independent bookstores in the valley are further north, so it was nice to have something in the south side representing. This one is located in Union Square, a rather geriatric shopping district that appears pretty run down, but is home to several local shops. Pretty it isn't, but it must be doing something right, because there are always folks in the parking lot. And during my visit, several of them were in this store too. Anyway, back to the bookstore. It's modest in size, but had a good amount of books. It strikes me as of a more of a place where you call and talk to the owner to help track down a very specific book than a store that you might just want to browse for fun. The layout and design of the store is slightly lacking in appeal and creativity. That said, not everyone wants to browse through shelves of books or attractive displays. Sometimes you know just what you want and need someone like the folks at The Printed Garden who can locate it for you. And I'll bet they would be happy to do that.

Been here several times to purchase books and gifts. Found a really cute weekly calendar today that…read moredoubles as a mousepad and has space to write daily agenda plus weekly checklist and notes. Such a fun and practical gift! Each time we've been here it seems they're either understaffed or not enough stockers are cashier trained because it'll be just one cashier until an antsy line queues and then someone notices and comes up to help ring down the line. Good selection of books and games. The front by the cashier also has a fun collection of gift items that change seasonally. There's a cafe in the back but it's usually pretty full so we haven't gone there yet. The store is well organized but maintenance needs to come in to clean the escalator and repaint since it is pretty dirty in some spots which is normal over time but looks like whoever is in charge of regional upkeep maybe hasn't noticed on their visits that this store needs so deep cleaning in some high foot traffic areas. Overall a good albeit pricey place to find your next good read as well as a great place to find gifts for everyone. Cashiers are friendly. Keep up the good work!

I came in looking for a book but after sometime I couldn't find it, and when I asked for help they didn't want to really help but instead kept ignoring me, seemed bothered I even asked, later came to find out that was the manager-disgraceful behavior. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked a different employee but she wasn't very helpful, told me to go look myself despite already telling her I have and I asked her if she would get in trouble if she walked over and helped me (btw the store wasn't very busy) she said she wouldn't get in trouble..but she proceeded to basically say she doesn't want to but I guess fine, and told me she was going to help another customer first despite me being there first but I said okay, and waited for her to come to the section I told her I would be in (where the book I was looking for should be) and when she wasn't there within a reasonable time I looked over and saw she was continuing to "help" every other customer around and stand there, when I talked to her again, she looked like she was caught and it was more of the same apathetic and lazy response, while two other employees (two managers-one was the first one I talked to) were just standing talking and laughing away near by doing nothing. Tried to talk to them about what happened and they didn't seem to genuinely care AT ALL. It made me feel unprioritized and like I didn't matter. Way to make a person walk straight out of the store. Walked out feeling worse than when I came in. Amazon and other sellers are cheaper but people come to Barnes for the service/experience not just books. Overall, consistently disgraceful employees and an unpleasant experience at this location.
