Exactly the type of location you'd picture it at - a perfect fit. There are upwards of 30 vendors in the space with everything from pottery, clothing, jewelry, coasters, plants, and general household knick-knacks that you're SURE to find something for yourself or something for a friend's birthday or for a "just because" gift. I'm obsessed. It's extra cool because you're shopping local and supporting local businesses and artists. Tip: don't miss the trucks stopped outside that are also part of the event (esp Hunt & Gather!). So freaking cool that there are pop-up shops INSIDE trucks as part of the pop-up shop! As most know, shopping local oftentimes comes at a cost... and some things are a bit pricey. Which is why I'm knocking it down a star. It's not the market's fault, but it still makes it tough for us sort-of-frugal-buyers to find affordable items. I did, however, get an amazing coaster with the Brooklyn Bridge on it, painted by a local, and there were some plates/bowls and rings I had my eye on as well. Tons of options, and recommend EVERYONE stop by, no matter what price range you're looking in. I'll be back.

There are some eclectic items from Hello Kitty noodle cups to Hello Kitty rice cookers, and even some one of a kind custom t-shirts. The main draw is the cute designs and appeal of this international brand; the draw-back is the insane price tag; a printed t-shirt has a MSRP of $60. I don't even want to know the price of that rice cooker. Come early as crowd line gets longer mid-afternoon. Was able to get a few complimentary photo-booth photos, but missed the chance to meet Hello Kitty in person.

We got some really dope beautiful shots and I'm guessing maybe the time we went help because we chose a Saturday Night after 8/9pm, so there was a fair amount of people but we were able to get great shots without worrying about other people. The people who work here were also really sweet and nice when we went, even when we stayed longer than we should have after they were closing up. I had a fun time here and wish I went earlier so I couldve had more time to enjoy it!

The hot pot lab is a food themed experience, each ticket sold is one dollar donated to food banks in nyc. It was refreshing to see the staff who by the way were extremely dope wearing masks and the rooms supplied with sanitizer wipes etc. this day it was empty so we had the entire exhibit to ourselves, each exhibit is themed after ingredients found in hot pot, my fav was the noodle wall and the fish balls. This was definitely a much needed day of fun . Check out the gift shop as well.
