For Mother's Day, I wanted to get nice bouquets for the women in my life. I needed a local florist for same-day delivery, and thankfully found Mamaroneck Flowers. It's not posted on Yelp (yet), but their website is mamaroneckflowers.net. I spoke with a lovely woman on the phone who walked me through available arrangements and prices, and directed me to some beautiful, pre-selected arrangements online. I decided to go with my own creation, and was guaranteed delivery on the days and times I needed them. Mary Anne, who creates the arrangements, did a wonderful job of creating gorgeous bouquets within my price range, and helped me decide on everything from the type of flower to the vase. (You can also get bouquets without vases, but Mary Anne suggests sticking with the vase!) They were stunning, professionally done, and the lucky ladies who got the flowers were super impressed. Mamaroneck Flowers went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me get a special delivery to my niece and nephew for her baby shower over the weekend. I accidentally gave them the wrong / old address. As a result, the flowers had not arrived on Saturday. I called on Sunday, and got the owner - even though the shop was closed. On Modnay morning, he picked up the flower ad delivered them to the new address. I got a text from niece and she was so happy - the flowers were beautiful! Very very disappointed. Visited 3 times before my wedding to discuss specifically my bridal bouquet and boutenniers for all the groomsmen. I specified that I wanted peonies for my bridal bouquet and was told ok. I even sent sample photos of both of these. On my wedding day, it was the one vendor that did not come through! I received a bouquet of roses and these huge pink roses for all the men. Not small spray roses and wax flowers. Maryanne said she went back to her office to check the contract and there was nothing there about peonies!! I visited and sent photos and none of that was listened to. On my second visit I paid extra because suddenly the new table arrangements costs more. I was willing to pay her extra but never imagined what a disaster my own bridal bouquet would be and never thought the guys would have to wear these giant roses (that were very difficult to pin) on their lapel. Horrible. My husband went without wearing the boutennier. The centerpieces were ok and the sweetheart arrangements were nice, but talk about a major screwup. I would never recommend!!!! read more

The worst flower arrangement I've ever seen just horrible... I told my husband the last time don't go there anymore but he did once again. I wish I could upload a photo of this disaster of an arrangement. Apparently if they are doing a funeral they can't handle making a simple arrangement nicely in the same day.. Very disappointed. I received the most gorgeous purple/lavender roses, unfortunately by the next day they were starting to wilt. They were pretty much all wilted by the day after that. I called and spoke to Marianne and she really showed true customer service and provided 100% customer satisfaction. I will definitely refer any business to them going forward. read more
