They were nice but my nails didn't come out the way I wanted. I got acrylic French tips and the pink was dark. I wanted it more natural and light. She put on too many layers of the dip and she made me bleed from cutting my cuticles too much. read more

Update: so I decided to give this place another go. My nails are cute and shaped right. But as I was getting my nails drilled to get the old SNS she kept burning my nails beds to the point I almost cussed her out. Not gonna lie. And tell me how you can slice someone's skin with a nail file like a knife. Like I said my nails are cute but that was the most painful nail job I've gotten. I will be going somewhere else I've never had this happen to me before in the many years I've been getting my nails done. I got them done 3 days ago. Although the nail tech did an awesome job with the design I wanted and the nail shape, she was super rough. I'd gotten acrylics some 5 times before this and never has another nail tech made two of my fingers bleed. She didn't even soak the gel polish I had on top, she just got another tip and popped it off my nails! Not only did that further damage my natural nails but they hurt!! Maybe she wanted to get me in and out quickly (which she did working this all out in under 1.30) but if you want a returning customer, I'd suggest to focus solely on the nails and not on every other person in the salon. read more

My first two times here were good. First I had a SNS ombré glitter that was perfect. Second I had a gel pedicure, very good too. My third time was awful... will not come back. The lady kept cutting/burning my cuticles with the drill, working in a hurry. I wanted a simple SNS manicure, with glitter on the ring finger only. The color came out "marbled". I told the lady and she said "oh, it happens". She did not offer any solutions, even when I told her that I am not satisfied with how my nails look. This place is excellent!! This was my second time getting my nails done since I moved to Palm Coast and the second time getting SNS done and I wasn't thrilled with it from the last place. The owners were super friendly and very helpful and convinced me to try SNS again and I am in love with my nails! Nom (could be spelling this wrong) did a fantastic job and the man who did my pedi was very gentle but great massage. For a nail place - I think Lovely nails gets great all around. Not too extravgant- but it covers all the bases great. We got the manicure and spa pedicure -- the middle package go $40 and it was WORTH IT. The pedicure felt like I was getting a separate massage. Another nice perk s that they have two kid chairs. My niece loved it - and when she had to wait for her mani (post pedi ) they had a DVD for her to watch. I am not a regular, but my mom is - and she is a fan. First time there. Got the most expensive pedicure with gel on my toes and a gel manicure. The pedicure was really good. Nails also. Overall I'd give it a 3.5 but rounded up because it's better than a 3. My gel polish looks like it may chip sooner than normal because he got polish on my cuticles. I had to go home and clean them up and file the edges to try to keep them from chipping. The polish also looked old but I'm going to go back to see if they do a bit better the next time. The pedicure definitely is the reason I bumped it to a 4! read more

I absolutely love this place. I have been coming here since I moved to Flagler in August of 2017. They have never once messed any of my nails up. They are extremely professional and friendly. Making every customer feel like a VIP. They know me and all their customers by name and make you feel like you're at home. Hmm, too many hands in the appointment. Older lady did pedicure, never cut cuticles, never buffed toe nails. It was hit or miss with my toes. A lot of massaging, but little else. The owner is really good, she would work on me in between the older lady and another girl. Never quite experienced a mani/pedi like this. Did not feel it was complete on the pedicure. Yesterday I took 14 year old twin girls to Lovely Nails in Palm Coast, FL. to get acrylics using regular polish. I asked before what the charge was and the girl at the desk which I later was told was Nom's wife, said $20 each. 2 different women were doing the nails and as I checked on each I told the women that the nails needed to be shorter and they did not do what I asked. The girls had extremely long nails for 14 year olds. The women doing those nails should have used their common sense about the length for their age. I was shocked with the price of $53 when it should have been $40. I was never informed of any changes to the original price during the visit and I have no idea why they added any other charges. The young girls didn't understand the women doing their nails because of the women's poor English so if they did something more than what I wanted it should have been relayed to me. I had considered coming here with my wedding party but not after such a bad experience on the first visit here. I complained at the desk but nothing was done about it. Julie runs such a clean, professional shop. I choose her gel paint and it lasts about 2+ weeks with me and my active lifestyle. Her nail jewels stay on for the duration too. But what really is her niche is her and her hubby's artwork. They do amazing designs custom-suited for the customer.
