I came here since it's close to home. First time I walked in and they were busy so they told me to wait 20 mins. They weren't being to friendly. I came back the next day since I need a pedicure badly. It was done quickly. The tech was rushing through the the whole thing. She didn't file it well or cut my cuticles well. My nails were crooked with a lot of cuticle left. So frustrated ! I had to told her twice to paint the top of my nails. If you are picky the you definitely need to go somewhere else. If you are easy going and don't care much then I think This is a place to get in and out quickly. $16 for a pedicure or $31 for a gel pedicure read more

Not happy with my nails at all. Got a fill and gel polish paid about $7 more then the other salons in the area. I could have done a better job painting them my self. She cut me and one of my nails is extremely crooked. I have never had my nails look this bad that were done by a "professional". read more

Ugh. This is the nail salon right up the street from my house and I WANT it to be good, but it's just not. I gave it yet another try today after years of driving farther and sadly, I'll continue to make the drive elsewhere. They never do massage with a pedicure, and that's like half the point. Today was my first pedicure since delivering my son in February and I NEEDED massage. When the lady "finished" my pedicure she walked away so abruptly I couldn't even say anything. So disappointed, I won't be giving Lovely Nails any more tries. read more

I only came here because my regular nail shop is closed on Mondays and I leave for Vacation tomorrow so I was desperate. The wait was only about 20 minutes but the job was kind of careless. The lady who did my nails cut me with the power tool then told me she didn't and held up my hand to show me there was no blood. I could feel the cut then I especially felt it when it came in to contact with whatever chemical she used before the polish. My nails were supposed to be a pale pale pink with only tiny tiny sparkles but she insisted it was the right color I picked out from the display nails. I'm still not convinced. My cousin came in looking to get a design done. The lady that did her nails said she could replicate it. She tried I guess but it all came out sloppy and a lot of her nails are misshaped. She could have tried to make the lines straight. My mom asked for a gel manicure and pedicure and the same lady that did my nails didn't give her gel on her toes. All in all, my nails look good enough for our vaca but my mom and cousin are very disappointed. The experience at this salon could have gone a lot better. read more

Simply put, this place blows. Acrylics were ridiculously thick, and the nail tips somehow ended up wider than my nail base (how she pulled that off, I still don't understand). I asked for a glitter ombre and she literally just lapped glitter on the top half and dropped two lanky strips down to "blend". This manicure was so bad i had to strategically hide these monstrosities in pictures during my trip to vegas. Just went to a liquor store and bought a nail file so I could work them down to a human like form. Needless to say, I will not be coming back. read more

I drive well over 15 miles just to get my nails done here. They have a variety of gel polishes and so many glitter choices---my favorite! This salon has the best prices I've found in my two years of living in Southern California. The staff are all extremely friendly and they do such an amazing job. The best nail salon out there! My girlfriend comes here all the time. They're always efficient, friendly, and do a great job every time. When she gets a pedicure, they massage her, scrub her feet, as well as make sure the end result looks clean and stylish. The nail salon itself is always clean and spacious, unlike other ones we have been to. They always greet you with a smile and "hello" when you come in. They're super accommodating if you come in last minute. My gf also gets her eye brows waxed here and they come out very clean and even. I absolutely recommend this place! I give this place 2 stars because the lady at station #1, whom I think is the owner, is not nice. After getting a pedicure, she left me there and said to wait a few minutes for the polish to dry. So I did. I waited and waited and waited while she went to the back room and talked to another manicurist. She never came back out. I had to ask another lady if it was ok to leave. The owner is not friendly, does the least amount of work possible, and then gets up and leaves after her job is done. I try to not get her if at all possible. There are a couple of ladies that seem very helpful and kind. One of these is Lilly. She's very attentive and nice. I have gotten a gel manicure several times and unfortunately, the polish, which is supposed to last about 2 weeks, starts chipping after the 3rd day. I'm not sure if the quality of the polish is cheap, but for $25, I'd like it to last longer than 3 days. If I wanted it to last 3 days, I'd do it myself. read more

The ladies at this location are friendly--- a little pushy with the extra services, but understandably so. I am not a picky person at all, I'm okay with things not being 100% perfect. BUT, I must say I am truly disappointed with the work done at this place. I've given this place (4) tries. Each time, I thought that maybe It was just an off day. But after going here (4) times and having different nail techs each time, I have to advise people to seek another nail salon. The gel chips and raises instantly. The work is sloppy. I left with polish all over the edges of my finger beds. There are bubbles in the polish on my nails. My nails are not fully painted on the edges. I've been going to this salon for 20+ years, my husband was also going. My husband quit as Nancy continually became more careless & my husband had rough nails, she also would be late 95% of the time. My husband stopped going abruptly after several times, tending to other clients in the middle of his service, finally after this habitual behavior, he quit. I continued to go, however with my last appointment I was intentionally 10 minutes late (as Lilly is very rarely on time if its not the 1st appointment of the day) the owner Cindy said she'll be 10 minutes something came up, I said I don't have extra time, I have another appointment, she went to Lilly & came back again uttering 10 minutes something came up. Nothing came up, Lilly took an appointment & was at the beginning of a manicure, with total disregard for my appointment time. The only thing that came up was the complete disrespect of my time, to a long time committed customer who always tipped 30-40% read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I went in for a simple eye brow wax, the lady took about 5 minutes to do them and didn't really seem to care what she was doing. They were horrendous! Looked like they were done by a 5 year old. Had NO SHAPE WHATSOEVER and mind you I grew them out for a few months before getting them done and made the mistake of not getting them threaded by an actual professional who does a half decent job. My eye brows are completely trash. One is even noticeably thinner than the other. I shouldn't have payed an I even tipped the lady because I was just in so much shock I needed to leave the salon. This place is horrible. I went there for a pedicure and gel on my nails... During the pedicure I ask for callus remover and the girl put regular lotion on my feet then used the buffer ( the black sandpaper looking one) scraping/ scratching my feet. I had to ask her to stop because the sides of my feet started to burn( which later turned to visible scrapes) the French pedicure was awful my 5 year old could have done better. The gel was done bad too it was also French the white parts had visible ridges on them they were different in thickness some where thin and others thick. After leaving they began to peel and chip. I went back the next day made an appt with Susie ( a different person)to fix them at 1230 had to wait 40 minutes she did fix them they look better but never will I go there again no matter how close it is to my house and they are not that much cheaper than other places. read more

Tried them out for the first time. The staff is not very friendly. There's a lady that does a hula who could've easily helped with the services we requested (two pedicures and a gel manicure). However, we ended up being there for over two hours and my mother's pedicure had to get redone because the French tip was uneven on almost all her toes. My gel manicure was lifting two days after. Came here for the first time, trusting those positive reviews that I read on here. Service is ok. But their job sucks. The painting job is ridiculous. I was literally about to ask the lady nicely if I could just paint them myself.. I got acrylic nails. I told her short a little rounded to look more natural and thin. My nails look like cubes on my fingers. I'm not the kind to complain to people but I was very disappointed with how my nails turned out. Some are rounded, some are square and some are shorter than others!! The paint job was horrible as I mentioned with clumps and air holes. I've been going to Lovely Nails for years. I'm a fan! Consistantly good and very reasonably priced. I get a pedicure that lasts longer than any other shop, and I'm in and out in no time. I always get my waxing done here because other places always seem to tear my sensitive skin. Looks great, well shaped! This is a place you can go every month for maintenance and not go broke. Not a fancy spa or chatty ladies but I save that for when someone gives me a gift certificate to places I can't afford! read more
