Overall great place. I do think Hannah needs to be fired. She consistently makes my acrylic nails bumpy, crooked, and not painted completely. I have asked for other people, but end up getting her sometimes. She has cut my cuticles where they start bleeding, so it makes me not want to go anymore. Pedicures was fine. My dip manicure is awful. The red color is all over me, the shape is uneven (and I wasn't asked what shape I even wanted), the tops are uneven, I felt rushed, and the color stained my skin and she tried using cuticle trimmers and a file to get it off my finger tip!? I had to yank my hand away because she cut me. This place was recommended by a friend, but I would not recommend it. I also dislike soaking my fingers in a bowl of acetone bc the smell is awful. Been coming here for a year. Saw the start of a fungus- advised the tech. Stated there is a fungus - he stated it will grow out - did not remove the nail. next time came in fungus had grown - stated do not glue the nail is pressed again the acrylic - The final week that I went - he was slammed with clients - stated the next time we will put new acrylic. I have never had a tech nit remove a nail at the sight of water fungus and put something on it, to clear it, Well the nail popped and this is what it looks like. I am not going back. I've been here about 4-5 times now as a walk-in each time and am always helped promptly. I typically get gel nails and regular polish for a pedicure. The techs I've seen have been gentle and listened to my requests; I don't ever pick anything crazy. Usually I just go with 1 or 2 colors. I do wish the gel nails were a little thicker coated, though. Pedicures are relaxing and never feel rushed. I like that I'm given samples of lotion with my pedicure, to take home. I'll keep going! read more

I've been here 3 times and have been happy each time. Hannah has shaped my nails each time and she does THE BEST job. I went in this weekend with a request that they had never had before and the owner did it for me while the other techs learned. I loved that they were willing to try something new. My water was cold the entire time. The response was the water is hotter in main area. I had to ask the lady 3 times to scrape My feet for dead skin. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! The service and treatment my girlfriends and I received here today was so bad We will never return again. We are all military wives that plan our mani and pedi day there atleast once a month and often times twice a month. We have had previous issues with the service we received and very politely have X for them to fix it and they did. Today however was a different story. I went in for a fill-in and a pedicure the lady that did my pedicure flew through the service as if she was just trying to get me out of the chair or hurry up and be done with my feet. As a cosmetologist I do know the correct steps to a proper pedicure and I can tell you she didn't do at least two. She did not take the time to even scrub the bottom of my feet and that was my major complaint because I could still see the layers of dead skin on the bottom of my feet, ankles and toes. At the end of my pedicure I told her that there were some things that I did not like and she told me looks fine I told her no I need you to fix the polish that was on my toe and look at the bottom of my feet. She proceeded to ignore me and told me someone else was going to do my nails. At this point I'm really upset but I am still trying to not make a big fuss while there are tons of customers in there. So I waited for about 15 minutes before someone came to get me and he did an amazing job on my nails. When I went to check out I asked for manager very quietly not making a scene and whoever this lady was that was supposedly in charge she literally was so rude and disrespectful that she told me 1. THEY ARE NOT A SPA AND THEY DONT TAKE THEIR TIME TO COMPLETE SERVICES. clearly their name is lovely nails and spa ‍ 2. she also said I was just trying not to pay for the service. We spend atleast $100 per person in there Because we have no problem with paying for what we want. 3. She said It's nothing wrong with your feet and we cannot do it over and we cannot take anything off of your bill. These were the two things that I asked for and neither of them were granted for the sloppy rush job that was done on my feet. " You be the judge" She was so busy trying to make it seem as though I didn't want to pay my bill that she didn't even listen to what I was explaining to her because she thought I said my polish was messed up and it wasn't even the polish it was my feet in general. However I paid the bill and that will be my last time ever patronizing their business. I explain to her I can do a pedicure myself at home but I come to them for relaxation and a good experience with good customer service. I didn't receive any of that today. If I'm going to pay I expect to receive quality service and it's very apparent that they are just warning to get the people in and out of the door. I do hope that the young man Alan Got his tip for doing an amazing job on my nails and not rushing me but taking his time to complete it. read more

Went to this salon last week for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The female technician seemed to be in a rush. She cut and filed my fingernails. All were a different shape and length. She also cut my cuticle which bled for awhile. She took me to the pedicure chair and started to fill with warm water and the nozzle left her hand and sprayed my jeans with water! I was soaked the whole time I was there! She also left me with a bleeding red cuticle on my foot. The gel on my fingernails is coming off already!! Will not be returning here again! read more

I've been pretty disappointed the last two times I've gone. I typically get the #3 on their menu, which gives you a sugar tub, mask and a nice long massage with lotion . Last time I didn't get the mask, and the lady was in a hurry to finish me up because she got a walk-in. I had an appointment. I was still charged the full $48 even after bringing it to their attention. Today I tried a different lady and was shorted the lotion massage. I'm not going back. If you make an appointment they may not honor it as they take so many walk ins. And if you specify what you need they will tell you they can take you at a certain time and then tell you to come back another time because they don't have the right person to complete what you need. The service was great, super friendly and i was able to walk in and immediately be sat down. However, my nails are hurting. They were very rough filing them and the acrylic is super thick (as you can see from the side view) and there's also a dent in my thumb nail. When I told them that my ring finger wasn't even they explained that it was just my fingers not being the same size. I paid $40. They charged me extra for gel which is fine, but i was also charged extra for "long" nails even though i asked for a medium-small size. Overall, they're clean and friendly and fast, but I feel like i could get my money's worth elsewhere and have more quality looking acrylics. read more

This is my first and last time visiting lovely nails. Upon arrival evetything seemed to be going good. I started getting my eyebrows done and the lady doing my toes was arguing with her coworker the whole time she's doing my eyebrows and then passes me off to not one but 2 people to do my hands. They wouldn't give me the color that I asked and told me it was my "last" option or she wouldn't do my nails because she wouldn't bring the right color and wouldn't allow me to show her the exact color behind the counter. My 2 best friends wanted the same exact nails and got 2 completely different colors. Needless to say after a 3rd attempt of getting the right dip color I ended up just saying please give me acrylic and just paint them the color of my toes. She is in such a rush to finish that they are sloppy and she even filed my actual finger rather than my nail drawing blood. No compensation, no discount nothing. DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have been going here to see Ken for over a year. By all means this bad review has nothing to do with Ken because he is AMAZING! However the owners are HORRIBLE! I was in about a month ago to get my acrylic nails taken off. To do this they soak my nails in acetone. The lady was rushing which is rude and accidentally got acetone on my Coach purse that my mom gave me so it's a sentimental item and it's a $200 bag. They actually had the audacity to make me pay for the service that day and didn't offer me any gift certificate or anything to reimburse me for damaging my very nice bag that I have had for 4 years! I was in tears. I went back today to talk to the owner and she just said, "What do you want?" I told her I wanted her to make it right and what did she think was right. She said she didn't know because that had never happened before. I offered her to give me a free service or money and she just stared into the distance then started talking to all her employees in Vietnamese! SO RUDE! So I told her she has lost my business and I will write bad reviews about this place. Also, they charge way to much. I have been coming here for over a year I always make an appointment and expect to be seen at that time or within 5-10 min. They DO NOT operate this way!!! I have had to wait 30 mins when I've had an appointment with a specific tec. I go every 2 weeks for a fill n every 2-4 fir a pedicure. A loyal customer does not matter to them. They will bump u if u r 1 minute late n they have someone without an appointment waiting. They never take your number or name when making an appointment. Basically if you r a busy person n have limited time DO NOT go there most all the male techs r grumpy n impolite with customers. Of the 3 in m household that went there...we will NO MORE! So, I have been a couple of times to get a dip manicure and must say, they are super fast. Like 30 minute fast the last time. However my nails look bad within 10 days. They are starting to crack on all of my thumbs and getting the cracking look on others as well. I normally use Nail Envy (been going for 17 years) yes they take about 2 hours to complete, BUT my nails look and feel beautiful for 3-4 weeks depending on color. Lovely Nails not so much. I would need to return within 10 days max. So, sorry but not worth the money in my opinion. read more

I am very disappointed in this salon for not fixing a rough nail following a dip powder appointment with Ana! She tried to cover the rough surface with a topcoat once and it did not work! My nail was rough and dull. When I called on Sunday to have someone redo it the second time, I was told that "Ana was not working today and that she is the only one that can fix my nail!" My first time getting a manicure here, and I will not be returning. My service was rushed (which I can look past if they do a great job). However, the gel manicure was pretty sloppy - paint on my skin and cuticles. The worst part though is that my nails started chipping less than a week after the manicure. I got the gel because it is supposed to last 2 weeks. Every other manicure I have gotten at other places has lasted that long and some have lasted 3-4 weeks even. Looking for a new place to get a pedicure and this was a close choice to where my best friend and I were. You would think with the neighborhood it's around it would have stellar service and reviews. Unfortunately it did not. We walked in and were taken back immediately which was good. However, my best friends chair wasn't working because the remote was dropped in the water and the chair had water all over it which they didn't seem to care about. Both of our pedicures were so rushed and we got the luxury (most expensive) one. My girl left and didn't tell me where she was going after painting my toes (the pedicure seemed unfinished). Turns out she started working on someone else. Needless to say the customer service wasn't that great and the pedicure I didn't think was worth the price I paid. I have been using Lovely Nails since shortly after relocating to the Greenville area about 18 months ago. Tamny is my nail tech and she does a really super job on my hands and toes. All of the staff have been very kind to me, and are most helpful as I navigate the space with my walker. This is something that I do for myself and I enjoy relaxing while Tamny pampers me. Can't wait for them to get into their new and larger space on the corner of the shopping center. Treat yourself to a mani and pedi andcyiu will be glad you did. I staked out my options near my parents' house, and this place won the close-to-home-but-also-good battle. Located in the Publix shopping center off The Parkway, they have ample parking and a convenient location for anyone living off Batesville or Pelham road. The salon is large enough to handle a gaggle of ladies looking for an afternoon of relaxation, and the massage chairs are heavenly. Not so busy that you won't be able to get in without an appointment, but you might want to make one just in case. Good selection of polishes to choose from, and friendly staff. Prices aren't so cheap that I could go every week or two, but just fine for a monthly splurge. read more

They put me in a pedi chair and had me put my feet in the water. 20 minutes later I told them I had to leave and dried my feet and left.
