After two visits, I am a new loyal customer to Lovely Nails. My first visit I was greeted by the owner Lien who graciously invited me in as a walk-in. She did my nails as requested and we engaged in great conversation throughout the service. She was attentive to detail in shape and gentle throughout the dip manicure process. I was pleased with my results and service. I returned again and was greeted by Lien in the same respectful manner. A different woman did my nails this time and she was also attentive to detail and my requests. Some things that make them stand out from other salons: They consistently referred to you by first name giving a personal touch. Lien follows up with an email asking for feedback including offering her cell number. They ask your preference in salon communication. The process was totally different compared to every other time I had it done. I had asked for a clear dip top layer, she ignored the request and said this is the way it's done. The manicure was way thicker than usual. I had to go back 2 days later to fix it. Even then it only lasted a couple of days. Went here for the first time yesterday and wish I hadn't. I got a pedi and a gel manicure. It was very frustrating as I wasn't able to communicate with the technician regarding the shape of my nails or any questions I may have had unless the receptionist was in hearing distance and could translate. They have no dryers to dry your toe nails. They told me I was dry and I could go. When I got home I noticed that there were so many coats of polish on my big toes that they were all clumpy when I got home as they told me it was ok to put shoes on. Today I sit here debating if it's less painful to just pay and go somewhere else and get a polish change rather than go back to this place. Dropped $90 and couldn't be less satisfied. Think twice before visiting this place unless you have a regular there. There were many happy customers, I just wasn't one of them. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. First they had me sit in the chair to get my nails done only took the polish off then had me sit to get a pedicure. The pedicure was terrible I have paint all over my skin and she didn't massage my legs and ladies we know that's the best part???? Then the lady came back to do my nails while I was sitting getting the pedicure, but she only cut them and then stopped to talk on the phone. Once my pedicure was done I finally got my nails finished but they are bumpy because she put too any coats on and also didn't paint the sides of nails. One of the best pedicures I've ever had! It's too bad they are so far away from my house, but I'll try to make the trek every so often. I walked in asking for a gel pedicure, only cost me $35, which I think is pretty good as a lot of other places have quoted me $45 for the gel pedi. They spent about an hour total on the pedicure and were extremely meticulous - it was as if they were prepping my feet for a TV commercial or to meet the queen of England! They cleared away my cuticles and cut down some of my ingrown toe nails! They also recommended I see a podiatrist to get the filed down further/reduce the pain. She barely smudged a toe nail - I've seen many manicurists let this go, but she was so meticulous to make it perfect. They were very kind and treated me like family - we even talked politics for a while! In all it was a great experience and I already booked my next appointment to go back! In general why come here: These are hard working, meticulous, manicurists that seem to enjoy what to do and want to make their customers happy. They are very nice to talk with and rather inexpensive. My first time there. Wish I didn't go there. The staff is nice, the place is clean, lots of colors to choose from, but the pedi leaves much to be desired. My feet were not buffed at all. Were left rough. When complained about it, they said it was just a regular pedi and for buffing it was another service. In my lifetime I had many pedicures was never left with rough feet and never never requested anything else but a pedicure and I walked out with baby soft feet. Did pedicures change now? Came in here for the first time because my cousin had a gift card so decided to try. I really like it in here. They are super friendly. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The wait was not too long even though it was a Saturday afternoon. Obviously I would expect more of a wait in the summer. I will also go out of my way to go to a place that has parking so that's a bonus. The pedicure chairs and equipment were standard but they had a lot of nail colors. I love this place! It's the only salon I go to for my nails. They are so sweet and helpful. The salon has been remodeled and is gorgeous! Lynn is amazing. It's a family owned business, and they treat their customers like family, they always fit me in, so sweet to my little one, always great with answering the phone and getting back to you. They also have an online booking system which has never failed me. Just 10/10 I'm always happy when I go and leave. They also do eyelash extensions which came out amazing, I remember it was the night before thanksgiving and the owner did my fill and stayed until 9pm to finish, more nails need to be like lovely nails! This was the worst manicure I've ever had. I tried out this place with my friend last week, and the woman doing my nails cut my finger and didn't even apply antiseptic. I had to ask her to clean it and she just poured alcohol on it. I had to go to a different technician to ask for antiseptic, and had to go to the receptionist area to get a bandaid. The cut was all red and I had to go home and put triple antibiotic on it, because I was so scared of it getting infection. The manicurist also rubbed a paper towel with rubbing alcohol on it to the back of my hand, which hurt so bad! I got my gel manicure done FOUR DAYS AGO, and I can already see it peeling from the side. This was an awful, painful experience, and I feel like I completely wasted my money. I will never be back here. read more
