I stopped going to this business 1 year ago after at least 3+ years of going every 2-3 weeks. The best nail technicians left due to the owner mismanagement and not investing in the business. The pedicure massage chair pads were ruined/outdated or didn't work, not all the foot basins on the pedicure seats drained or had hot water. There were often flies or bugs around. The heat was set so low I debated bringing in my own space heater. They didn't buy or have any new nail polish to the extent I started buying and bringing my own. I had been looking for a good nail salon that is conveniently located for a long time, and I finally found it! Linda is absolutely amazing! So fun, patient, and meticulous in her craft. I do not understand the 1-star review. I've been here at least five times and left 100% satisfied each time. The gel color selection is incredible. The people working here seem to have so much fun! They laugh and talk -- yes, in their language -- but it does not bother me one bit because I can tell they're enjoying themselves, and that makes my experience even more pleasant. Plus, their fun does not interfere with the consistent A+ service I've received here. Ana works too fast. Wants to get you in and out. Made my nails bleed twice..not going back for a third. Also got lotion all over my rolled up cashmere sweater even though I tell her repeatedly not to go up to the elbows with the greasy lotion. She also needs to hire a babysitter as her young son is always there. This time, my nails bled a lot, so she squirted alcohol on them which hurt like hell..then had the nerve to charge me full price!!! I told her my nails were a mess and I would only pay half for the other hand which was fine. Fair, right?? I should have walked out. Her response was she would charge me half next time....as IF!!! I have 2 good things but one BAD thing they are very nice and talk to you a lot and did my nail job beautifully and I loved it they help you go over to the dryers but after a dried my nail I stopped and a man came over and look at my nails and he took my pinkie and rubbed it and it was all bumpy so he told me to dry them still did nothing to fix my nail and when I went home I had to FIX IT MYSELF and I never went back there. The only reason I went there was because I had to go somewhere in an hour and my nails need to be done. I am never going back there ever again!!!! read more

When I moved to the area I was referred here by a coworker and I am thankful that I was. I've been coming here for a couple years now and have not been disappointed. I am not picky and have had my nails done but almost every nail tech and have had good experiences. I usually call the day of to make an appointment and they're always able to accommodate me. I get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure ($50 total) every few weeks and they have a good selection of colors. The staff is always friendly and helpful and when I have friends or family in town I always take them here. They have a reward card and after 10 visits you get a free spa pedicure so for someone who goes regularly like I do it's a great deal. read more

The worst my nails have EVER looked. I got a full set and asked for almond shape. I was left with the most uneven, horribly shaped nails. As I'm typing this I'm at a different nail place getting them fixed. I can't even process how bad they are, and neither can the person fixing them. Avoid at all costs. read more

Would definitely recommend this place! I got a shellac manicure done on 2/3 (almost a month ago) and they're still perfectly intact. My nails have grown so much with no signs of breakage or cracking! Went here for the first time was NOT impressed at all, found the employees very rude!!! The woman who did my pedicure and fill, kept calling me mama when I signed in I used my name and I did not write MAMA. She didn't listen to me about my pedicure and what I wanted. Then when she did my nails she cut EVERY finger with the file and at the very end when she put me under to dry my nails said so sorry for cutting you. Now you say it, I complained DURING the service. Not at the end of the service and she should of put a antiseptic on ALL the cuts. A place I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO and I am an every two week client. read more

So owner had had to be called owner to come in and that took over 30 minutes, once she arrives she goes over to the rack and finds it immediately! Total time spent was 1 hour for a broken nail. If I could give zero stars, I would. I had the first morning appointment and arrived on time (9:30 Saturday morning). A technician who was helping another client yelled to me to sign in. I explained I had an appointment; she just smiled. I signed in and looked around - for a fairly new place, the limited bottles were half full, and the furniture was re-purposed - it was not up-to-date or very inviting. I proceeded to select a color and wait. After 15 minutes, said tech got up and walked in back - she told me that someone would help me after they finished a brow wax and was "just going to be 5 more minutes". After waiting 25 minutes, I called another salon and got an immediate appointment. Glad I found the other place - it was clean and offered the latest products - my new tech greeted me upon my arrival and provided excellent service ... my nails look fabulous. So happy that I walked out of Saugus Nails! read more
