I went to this place back in October, and I was pretty stressed to go to a place like this. I was greeted by a very nice salesperson, Vincent. He was very nice and open, and it made it a lot easier to be in there.He showed me a variety of things, and I was able to pick something out.I'm friends with this person now, and that says a lot to me. I'll share something rather embarrassing. Unfortunately, for some reason, the cleaning solution that I bought had an issue.That would only happen to me, and I had to go back to the store to return it. Another employee helped me, and he was really nice. I asked him if it had ever happened before, and he said no it was the first time. But he did tell me that it was very important to have a good cleaner, and he gave me a full exchange. Personally, I think this is an awesome store.I wouldn't hesitate to send somebody in there. It's a good place. And I am talking about the one on 82ndin Portland. I'm not saying the other ones aren't good, but I haven't been to them. read more

My husband and I visited this Lover's location last night and it did not disappoint! Upon entry everything is clean, organized, and welcoming. The vibe is not sleezy or creepy and the staff are A+! The moment we entered the store we were promptly greeted by an awesome salesperson (whose name unfortunately escapes me but they had dark wavy hair and a little beard popping out beneath their mask) who asked if we needed any help and explained a bit about the store and made us feel comfortable but then left us to peruse at our leisure and was there to answer questions we had. We picked up quite a few goodies and the salesperson gave us helpful info presented in a polite and educational way. We left feeling positive we will come back. I went here just to see what they had while visiting Portland. It was well lit and very organized. I was so surprised to find two toys that I've only seen online in the store and they were less money too. I was going to only get one of them but because of the price I got both. I kept looking and found more items. I asked the saleperson, Ocean,about one item and they opened it for me then showed me more items. I left spending way more money than expected but I think I'll love it all. And Ocean was an amazing salesperson. Why yes, I am reviewing an adult store...no shame though, everybody can use it! The very first thing I noticed about this was how CLEAN it is. It's so opposite of Taboo video, where you feel like the dudes in the video booths are undressing you with their eyes and god only knows what they just did in there. They don't have any of that crap at Lovers. It's strictly an adult store. Lovers is pretty decent sized - they have fun novelty stuff, and a huge selection of lingerie...or as I like to call it, stripper clothes. I did come in here for bridal shower gifts and ended up with some stuff for myself. The sales woman was really helpful and informative...she knew where everything was and was mostly pretty knowledgeable about the products. I joined the Lovers club and I get pretty good coupons/discounts, even though I never actually use them since I haven't been back in a while. I would definitely recommend going here if you're a little shy to the adult-store world...it's light and bright in the store and definitely doesn't have the slum of a 24-hour video shop. It is a little more spendy than the other places, but the other places are ALSO pretty spendy, sooo you just gotta pick your battles, I suppose. read more

This place is horrible. To start off the creepy male staff member zapped me with a cow prod like item and my hand is now swelling and discoloring. Then to top it off he wouldn't stop following me and my wife around the store. The prices are almost as bad as the creepy guy. The condoms a 12 pack costs the same as a big box at walmart / targert across the street, Then the clothing section is a huge joke(They have nice clothing but so does Fantasy, *Cathy's* and most downtown Portland shops for better prices). Two great experiences two days in a row having met the assistant manager myself and another girl who helped me find outfits & a toy as huge as my partner ( lol ) no easy task. . And then next day put a beautiful outfit on hold for me so it wouldn't disappear and then treating me and my guy with such energy - it was high class ! We've been in before and have had great experiences but after our more recent visit my husband and I have decided to shop elsewhere. The sales lady was really pushy about us buying a $200 item when we wanted something less expensive. Once we let her know it wasn't for us she was less helpful. If we had a question about a product she would try to sell us again on the higher priced item. It's such a fun, intimate thing for us to go and buy a new something or other for sexy time and we left feeling less than excited. :/ read more

Great new store that just opened up near Clackamas Town Center. Basically on 82nd a few blocks before you actually get to Clackamas Town Center. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the store was. Love the layout of the store. Lots and lots to choose from there. Great visual displays.
