This is a copy & paste of my Google review. Thought I'd spread the love…read more Just left Castle Megastore approx 5:45 pm January 22nd 2022. We went in to buy our usual items. A rather portly gentleman that worked there followed my wife & myself around for awhile & didn't interact with us. After he lurked around he tapped another female employee & had her approach us & asked us to hold our stuff at the counter. I told to her that I did notice the "big guy" over there has been eyeballing us & I think he thinks we're thieves. She commented that they have had some problems & he is on edge. Plenty of other folks were walking around with potential purchases, but I guess we just looked like criminals. We gave it to them as we perused the marital aid department. As we talked about how bad that made us feel we decided not to but those items or the $100+ dxollar personal massager & chose to go down the street to Castles competition. The wife did call the manager at 5:52 pm & it was an unpleasant experience. He didn't offer an apology or anything so if you like to feel like a criminal go ahead & shop there. Personally I'll take my cash elsewhere from now on. We were long, long, long time customers; I'd say twenty to thirty years. I no longer need to give them my money. Update (Sun January 23rd 12:02 AM): Just got home from Lovers (13917 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99216) it's just a handful of blocks to the east. We spent a little over three bills. They just let us walk around with our purchases & were just ever so helpful. Not quite the selection, but they didn't make us feel like we were criminals.

This Victoria's Secret is terrible! I shopped there yesterday because I needed new bras and VS bras…read moreusually fit me well. None of the store associates acknowledged me and they all looked SO MISERABLE to be there! No smiles, no greetings, just heads in drawers. When it was time for me to try on my bras, there was no attendant in the fitting rooms and all the doors were locked. I had to hunt someone down to get a door open. The changing rooms had holes in the walls and were dirty. It felt like the backstage of a circus. Just such a weird vibe in the whole store! When I arrived at the cashier, the girl told me to wait because she was still in a transaction but her tone was very sharp and annoyed. She never smiled at me and looked super stressed that there was a line behind me. It felt like all the associates had been fighting with each other all day. After today, I will not be giving this store any more of my business. Why is customer service and a pleasant shopping experience so hard??

So our only free time on Saturday before the play we came to town for started was slated for this place. I'm not sure we were even greeted when we walked in and I did alot of pushing of daughter to areas. At one point I approached the clerk and asked about where to look for the sizes (plus) and how the vintage racks are set up. Daughter is not looking happy and depressed. Avoid the vintage racks if you are on the plus side, there is nothing there. A couple of dresses were pointed out in the window. It seemed like more effort/time was aimed at friends that came in. Once everyone else left the clerk did start to help dd look for items in her size. And she finally tried on a few pieces. The gargoyle we secretly purchased was a hit by the way. All and all it was an spendy trip. But if she is happy with what I bought her than great, you only turn 21 once. I should give less stars for the lack of interest in our business but finding someplace with goth-y clothes in a Plus size bumps you up.
