This is a bigggg Love's. Gas prices are actually normal here, and it's so nice to be in the greater Phoenix area again. Nothing too special about this location though, and the bathrooms aren't very clean. Coco and Linda or also great, friendly employees, they were so nice, I had to walk in the back to tell their manager, Omar, how amazing my experience was. This place is a one stop shop for Subway, chicken, hotdogs, pizza, and tacos. Plus if you need a shower or anything for your phone it's here you can even grab a beer. Real COKE, good ice. The facility is clean, and they keep up their battle against oil, gasoline, and diesel fuel spills at the pumps. Bathroom was clean and well-ma8ntained. What shocked me is the quality of some of the food they offer. Perhaps I should first explain that I am not a participant in or very positive about cannibalism. I bought an expensive sandwich there, thinking that it might be adequate after a long drive that had time constraints: in other words, due to deadlines, I couldn't afford to stop at a restaurant and I foolishly thought that an expensive sandwich might satiate my hunger. I had to stop for fuel, so why not get a bite to eat? It's my own fault for not being more cautious, but the so-called breakfast sandwich seemed like a good bet. Not so. It was wrapped in paper with Love's logo, so I thought it would at least be edible. Before I consumed it, I thought I'd put some sauce on it to spice it up a tad: when I opened it up, I was shocked by what I saw... a grey piece of meat, about 2-2 1/2 inches in size -- and nothing else. No cheese, no egg... just a piece of grey meat. It wasn't sausage, bacon or ham. What was puzzling was that it wasn't readily identifiable as turkey, chicken, pork, or human. No indication of what types of sandwiches in signage other than "breakfast sandwiches." Pass. Lesson learned. read more

I think this is one of the cleanest Love's I've been too. Clean bathrooms! The floors are clean, the sinks clean.. yes! The store area is bright and has just about whatever you might desire. Snacks, cold drinks, sandwiches, salad as, coffee and of course souvenirs. There's a kind of food court with hot food, pizza and chicken, and a Subway inside. I really like that the employees are friendly and helpful and this place is really well kept. Yes, there's the truckers' entrance and showers are available here. But the souvenir area has loads of trinkets. Gas prices are reasonable also and it's really freeway close. read more

I normally don't stop at Loves because I have had some bad experiences with them but this one is actually very clean and well taken care of. Prices on gas aren't that much different from other gas stations and they do have some good food options. I travel for work so it's nice to know that I have more options when needed a gas or something to eat. read more

A couple of gatorades, some beef jerkey and of course some candy to get a sugar rush before we push home. Loves truck stops normally have a lot of room for large RVs to get in and out but not this one. We need diesel and had to wait for a small vehicle to finish their shopping inside so we could get to the pump and then the pumps were very slow dispersing fuel. read more

Made a quick stop for gas and the restroom, and I have purchased items at this LOVES previously. The bathrooms are old and need some TLC but they were CLEAN. Lady cleaning was very pleasant and friendly. I have purchased last minute gifts for friends at this LOVES their selection for gifts and trinkets are actually pretty nice. A full Subway and other food as well! Full length window squeegees so you can reach both side of windows! read more

The truckers sit at the fuel pumps for an hour, going inside to do whatever. 30 min breaks showers. Then small amount of showers and people been in there an hour. You can hear them having there thing. Disgusting. No courtesy to other drivers needing showers. And of course you can't rush them. Worst fueling and showering experience I've had at a loves. Typical Love's truck stop. Wide variety of snacks and clothing to show how proud I am to be an American. While the restrooms were clean enough, I've definitely had a more pleasurable experience at other Love's. That being said, the Subway within was excellent. Bread was soft and all the ingredients fresh, the tomatoes were even red! Definitely worth a stop if you've been on the road and need a place to stretch your legs and get a roller hotdog. Was camping in a nearby area and needed a shower. If you're on the road/camping, showers here are a good option.

Entire store dirty. Men's restroom sinks, counters and floors filthy. Each men's bathroom stall had feces floating in the toilets and toilets dirty including all door handles. Truck fuel stall levers did not work properly and all the windshield wiper blades for wiping the truck windows had broken rubber blades so unable to wipe off the truck windows. All staff needs to be retrained or new staff with maybe new management to provide respectable facility. Truck drivers deserve better. read more

We have a deep love for fried chicken (and heart attacks) so were eager to give Chesters a try. When we sat down to begin eating we were first struck by the smell, it didn't have that delicious artery clogging fried smell we look forward too, instead it was very burnt. I think either the oil was burnt, or old, or old and burnt, or old and burnt and not really oil. Either way, i feel this place owes chickens everywhere an apology. These chickens died for NOTHING. We took a couple bites and tossed the chicken. The potato wedges were so thick, unseasoned and clearly fried in the same old, burnt, not really oil, oil as the chicken. This Loves is very clean and the staff is very polite. I've been to this location a few times and Maria the cashier is always very helpful during the day. Decided to give Chesters a try since I drive by the place everyday to and from work. So I go ahead and ordered a 6 piece tender dinner thinking it was going to be delicious...it wasn't. Granted I came in the door close to 10pm, however, when it came to trying the potato wedge(s); it was stale and flavorless. As for the chicken tenders, I had better and it had very little seasoning on them. I might try to come in when it's fresh to see of there's a big enough difference but for now, I won't be returning any time soon. read more

What an unprofessional and dirty place. The cashier, Suli, was cursing at someone in Spanish over the loudspeaker outside. She had a very ugly and self-centered attitude. She was only speaking in Spanish to the Spanish-speaking customers. When I was paying, she didn't even greet or thank me but was constantly talking in Spanish to other customers. It is really sad that I have to write this negative review over two lousy pieces of chicken! Tonight, my husband ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner from Chester's inside of this Love's. When he got home, he opened the bag and there was only 2 pieces of chicken in the bag, so he called to speak with a manager (Jason) and told him about the issue. Jason asked for the ticket number on the receipt and said he would call back in a few minutes. He called back a few minutes later and said he reviewed the security tapes and the clerk did put 4 pieces of chicken in the bag so they would not be making good on our shorted order. Really? First of all, there were only 2 pieces of chicken in the bag when we got home, not 4. There is no way he looked at a security tape and saw 4 pieces placed in the bag because there were only 2 when we got home and the chicken thief fairy was no where near our vehicle on the way home. I am blown away that this place will risk losing a customer over 2 pieces of chicken! We visit this Love's at least 3 times a week and spend at least $100 a week on gas, food, and sundries. This means we spend at least $5600 a year at this Love's. We are not some young, indigent punks trying to score a free meal, we are a financially established, middle-aged couple who would not waste our time or effort trying to score 2 free pieces of chicken when it takes us 15 minutes to drive back to retrieve it, hence spending more money on gas than the cost of the missing chicken! The fact that the manager could not figure this out is beyond me. We will NEVER go back there again for anything. I refuse to patronize an establishment that does not stand by their customer's and essentially calls my husband a liar by saying he will not amend our shorted order because he watched the clerk place 4 pieces of chicken in a bag when he clearly DID NOT, because there were only 2 pieces in the bag. I really hope it was worth it for them! It is really not about the chicken, it is the principle behind the whole ordeal. read more

New to the buckeye area, I've had chesters chicken before and this experience was nothing like before. I was very disappointed with the service the younger guy offered also the quality of the food. A family meal was purchase & everything was very old and dry. Some of the menu items were not available like the fried dessert pies and the fried corn on the Cobb. I spent $30 dollars on food that me & my family couldn't eat. Very disappointed because I took my mom there for the first time & she was disappointed also along with the 7 other people I was trying to feed. read more
