When we pulled up to the pump, an employee was outside washing the stalls and cleaning trash cans/tidying up. Great first impression! When we walked inside to grab pizza from Godfather's and use the facilities, we were greeted promptly by the cashier! He also bid is a happy day as we left. Side note, Godfather's pizza is delicious! This is the second time we have ordered from there (I neglected to write a review last time). Also the restroom was clean, soap was full as were the paper towels. Stopped here twice within a week period. This place was super busy both times. First on the way home from Clayton Lake on Sunday, May 15. Then again on the way back from Clayton Shooting range on Thursday, May 19. Both times I had a mini personal pan pizza from the Godfather's inside. I remember Godfather's pizza in Albuquerque always being great, but alas, they are all gone. The pan crust, with the buttery goodness always sent my taste buds to heaven. Each time I visited here I had a specialty pie. The first time I ordered the Hot Stuff, with pepperoni, beef, Italian sausage, onions, jalapeno peppers and mozzarella cheese. Second time, Humble Pie, which included: pepperoni, Italian sausage, onions, green peppers, and mozzarella cheese. Of the two, I preferred the Hot Stuff more, and this pizza, although small, was as good as I remembered. You'll pay $6.79 for any of their 9 specialty mini pies, which have 4 slices. This is the way to go as a single topping with cheese costs $5.59 and a two topping $6.19. My hot tips: 1. Ask them to make you a fresh pizza, you never know how long they've been under the hot lights. It only takes about 8 minutes for a fresh one. 2. Ask for parmesan cheese, it's behind the counter but they'll get it for you. 3. Get the Hot Stuff or Classic Combo. My wife had the Classic Combo when I visited the first time and she said it was one of the best pizzas she's had in a long time. Classic combo comes with pepperoni, beef, sausage, onions, black olives, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese. This review is for the Godfather's Pizza inside the Love's, not for the Love's itself. Had to stop by to get gas, but bought food from a couple places in this location. Atmosphere - 3/5 - Located in New Mexico, this was a very busy location. Staff - 4/5 - Friendly and helpful. I could not find napkins for the life of me. Food - 3.5/5 - This location had 3 food restaurants inside (Godfather's Pizza, Chesters, and Boss Sub) I ordered the following: Godfather's Pizza Hot Stuff - 4/5 - This was the spicy pizza from Godfather's. I got the mini, and I was really impressed with this pizza. I could actually see myself buying the normal one. Chester's Tenders - 4/5 - little chewy, but a nice crunch and cooked really well. I was very surprised. Fried okra - 3/5 - Tasted like any other okra. Wedges - 1/5 - Don't do it. They are huge, but sitting under the lamp, and become so dry. I should have realized when no local ordered this. Overall, I grew up in Oklahoma so Love's was considered a 'bigger' gas station. This was a smaller location, but didn't mind stopping by. Lots of choices. There's something for everyone here. And that chicken is awesome. The worker Mika he really knows his way around a fryer. He's quick with friendly banter, and a smile. The pizza is awesome. Make sure to say hi to Jordan and Keri at Godfathers Pizza, and Big Boss Subs. U won't regret a sub with those marinated tomatoes for sure. On my way back home from my honeymoo, I stopped in to get a headlight for my car. I was explicitly told to make sure to grab my receipt in the case that i grabbed the wrong one, I could return it. after realising I had grabbed the wrong one, I went inside to return it and was told that I could not without a manager. I waited 6 hours in my car for the manager to get there for their shift that started at 6 am. I'm writing this at 6:10. This is hard to rate because we have high expectations for any LOVES as we've always been impressed with their cleanliness. We were disappointed here and I would have given fewer stars but I felt I should give more credit to the circumstances.... This is a very small and pretty run down store overall. Bathrooms were more like other typical gas station bathrooms. They were stocked and not disgusting, but nothing here warranted more than 3 stars, though the employee we came in contact with was friendly and professional. So it's a typical gas station, but most Love's locations always seem to have really clean facilities. That extra star goes a long way, and here's why. That is really important to a guy that has little kids trying to learn to reach the toilets and inevitably having to sit them down on the seats for some reason or another. Nothing is grosser and more nerve racking to a parent than having to race down the road, pull up to a station, unbuckle, perform a track star sprint with a kid in your arms from the truck to the bathroom only to have to pause and clean up a stall for a toddler screaming about "Hurry Hurry!
