The floors were sticky, and every open table was covered in trash. We should've turned around immediately, but the kids really wanted Frosties. Big mistake. We ordered two specialty Frosties, and instead received a half-melted chocolate-vanilla swirl -- one of which was supposed to be birthday cake or something similar. When we politely asked the cashier about the mix-up, she just shrugged and mumbled something unintelligible. No apology. No correction. To be fair, they got our food order correct -- but that's about the only thing they did right. Unfortunately, the food tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Which is strange, because they were actually busy -- three groups ahead of us, about 10 people total -- and yet it took nearly 10 minutes per group just to place an order. Not exaggerating. The wait was absolutely maddening. Worst of all? Not a single employee acknowledged the poor service or slow pace, let alone offered an apology. Bottom line: NEVER AGAIN. Dirty, disorganized, slow, and unapologetic. Skip this stop -- no matter how much your kids want a Frosty. You'll thank yourself later.

We had some time so we left the Guyon OK and headed toward New Mexico. So we are always looking for a place to eat lol! We ended up going through the town of Boise, then on to Clayton NM. I found Mary's Back Porch on Yelp and it was the only place open in town that we could find. It is totally eclectic! Flowers. bric a brac- even a cockatoo when you walk in.
