Bathrooms are clean most of the time. Gas is cheap. There's always things laying on the floors in the store, totes just sitting in aisles. Not many drink choices, had to make room for the booze, I guess. Deli foods are just ok. Nothing really special about the place. Other than, this place has some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered in any retail establishment. And, I have worked for more than a handful of gas stations and truck stops. I usually swear by Loves, but not this one. Employees get on the intercom and rudely call out truck drivers. To the point where my jaw has dropped listening to it. Cashiers snippy and condescending. Just disgusting behaviors. There's more than a handful that I would've fired by now for lack of customer service skills. This location needs to do better!!!!! read more

We visited Love's for gasoline and a shower during our travels. Gas was cheapest in the area and although the shower was $16 each, it was a great experience as it was a nice, big, private bathroom and shower, and a towel, washcloth, and soap were provided! Super clean too and staff was all friendly and accommodating! read more

I commend the staff of Love's in Williams Arizona. I left my fanny pack on the chair in the dining place by Subways and realized it only after we have left and was 12 miles away. I called Love's and spoke to a gentleman who immediately went to check and in less than 5 minutes came back to the call and let me know my fanny pack has been returned and that I can claim it from them. I was so glad that I offered a $20 dollar tip but the gentleman (looks like the manager) and the other staff said that it was not necessary and that they were just doing their job. So proud of them. This Love's has good diesel sold for a reasonable price. The diesel is good, we were able to get 54 mpg with the Love's fuel. We were disappointed because of the four big coffee makers, they were ALL out of coffee at around 8:00 in the morning. An inconvenient oversight. read more

Do not buy large coffees from this Loves. The kids do not stay on the cups. Went in for a refund from the clerk I just bought it from and she directed me to the truck side. They have diesel. They have a bathroom. Other than that, the place is a huge disappointment. I use loves to have some room to turn, park for a few minutes with a trailer and walk the dogs. I get my antifreeze there etc. Not this one. No room to park and almost no room to turn around. Cramped store with one type of antifreeze. Can't walk the dogs because you can't park! There are acres of open land around, yet no room. Don't call it a travel center it's a simple gas station and a darn small one at that. read more

As a local in Williams I was certainly glad to see Love's finally open for business. It's presence will likely force other merchants in the area to offer fuel to consumers at reasonable prices. For some time now unwary motorist have fallen victim to the service stations nearby that have been selling their gasoline & diesel at inflated prices simply because consumers are often unaware that fuel can be purchased much cheaper at the Pilot station less than 20 miles further east on I-40 in Belmont. This New Love's Travel Store shares space with a Subway and a Carl's Jr drive-thru, so beside providing long overdue accommodations to truckers passing through the Williams area, this new establishment offers both visitors and locals alike, a safe place to pull off the highway and find fuel and decent fast food at reasonable prices. read more

This place was great!!!! Besides all the products they offer as a truck stop, there was also fast food option, as I believe there are for all Loves. Bathrooms were super clean and smelled great. We had to stay overnight and felt very safe as this is a normal thing for many people so you're not alone. There are also showers there for a small price of $15.00 but we didn't need to use it but it's nice to know you can. Because I have a van with a full size mattress in the back I will never need to stay at a hotel, I will always look for a Loves! Oh plus they offer a good selection of cookware that is car adaptable, such as coffee pots and small crockpot! Love LOVES! read more

Got gas here it was very clean employees were nice bathrooms were clean gas prices were decent not hiked up cuz they were right off the freeway. They have a Carl's Jr. and a subway. If you have bad tire and you need to get your load on time park on the road and call road service because they prioritize road calls. I got there at 6:30pm and they said 4 were in front of us and it would be about 4hrs to get to us. Nope shop closed leaving only the road call guy so they didn't get to us till 5:30am. read more

Stopped for a snack and restroom. When getting in line to checkout, there was young German man explaining to the manager he wanted to return - exchange the three snack items he purchased. The manager kept yelling at him they don't give refunds. The young man attempted to tell him and show him the items had expired. The manager, short dark hair and balding, kept yelling at him he was the manager and there were no refunds. The young man asked to exchange them for the same product that had not expired. Manager still refused and kept yelling I am the manager, no refunds". An exchange of the product is not a refund Mr Rude Manager!!! I left ny items in the shelf closest to me and went to Maverick, across the street. Very friendly and courteous people working there. Rude Manager, that is no way to treat a customer, or someone visiting from another country. Would really like to know if he was the manager or not. If he was my employee he would be demoted or fired for his actions. Hope they have cameras so REAL management can watch the video and listen to him. Love's is a great safe place to stop for people on long road trips. The fiance and I were on a multi-state road trip across the western states and stopped at multiple Love's along the way. The Love's at Williams, AZ was our first stop. First impression was that it was very well lit and extremely clean. After a full day of driving we were both very happy for the bright/safe environment to rest for the evening. There were also a few other travelers in cars and a couple RV's in the lot. After a restful nights sleep I had to clean up and decided to pay the $11 for the shower. I have to say, this was the selling point for me with regard to a long road trip. I am glad to say the showers were just as clean as the restrooms. So here's the process, first you have to walk past the first register and through the shop towards the double doors in the back. There will be a second register with tons of car/truck stuff (i.e. mirrors, wipers, fluids etc...) in this room, which was traditionally and continues to be a place for truckers. Second go to the register and ask for a shower. The clerk will charge you the $11 and give you a room key. Third walk down the hall and the room key indicates your shower room number, which is down a small hall towards the back. Lastly use the shower and toilet to your hearts desire because there are no time limits. There are also three towels already (two body, one face cloth) in the room along with soap dispensers in the showers. Additionally there is a medium sized fan mounted by the lights for those that overheat easily. I only brought my shower caddy with soaps, shampoo, and toothbrush my first time. I will suggest for those that need more to get ready ( makeup, hair) do that here. You've already paid for the room and the lighting and a/c is going to be much easier in a room with a mirror and sink than whatever vehicle you're traveling in...unless you're in a large RV. Safe travels. On Sunday August 2nd @ 4:00pm after spending close to $100 on gas I asked the (older Female) cashier where the Air machine was. My friend and I drove to the machine and noticed it cost $1.50 in Quarters only. We dug through our wallets and could only come up with $1.25. I walked across the parking lot (in over 100 degree heat) back to the cashier and explained we only had $1.25 and could she turn on the machine. She rudely said "no". I then asked her (while holding up a $1 bill) if I could get some quarters for the machine. She opened both register drawers, rifled through the change and told me she didn't have any quarters. I was quite exasperated and worried that we would be stranded with a flat tire. Everybody in the store looked at me with empathy. One lady told me she had change in her car and would give some to me. We walked outside and as she opened her car door she looked at the change she got back from the cashier. She realized the cashier had given her $1, a quarter and a nickel. We looked at each other in disbelief that the cashier told me she didn't have any quarters, yet she gave the lady behind me a quarter and change. read more

If I could give them a nine out of ten, I would. This Love's has one of the best views looking out over the city of Williams as well as over Interstate-40, the mountains, and the surrounding forest. They have quite a lot of parking, and they were fine with us getting some sleep along with all the other travelers. The employees, especially the evening shift, were all very cool. On one of our stops there, we used their showers, and they were super clean and loved the hot water and great pressure. It's a great stop for the weary traveler. read more

the store was fine but i was soon disturbed to see them promoting diet culture. in the womens bathroom there is a scale and you get the lottery numbers if you weigh yourself. i bet that they dont have one in the mens bathroom. they are just trying to push diet culture and make women feel small. read more

Love's has done it again! Generally speaking, Love's Gas Stations are totally clean and have everything you need on a long trip. My husband and I were on a long camping trip at a campground with no showers. We decided to give Love's public showers a try and were surprisingly blown away! It's an affordable $11 for 1 private bathroom with no time limits!!! There's a private toilet, large hot shower, and lots of space to get dressed, do your make up, etc. I'd suggest this place to anyone on a long trip. :) read more

Carl's Jr. Is the worst I have encountered. I ordered a chicken salad which was ok but while waiting for my order the Night Manager, the older man with tatoos was on a tirade with his employees and being a jerk. He was packaging orders but as he waited for more food with his back to guests he kept sliding his hands between his pants and butt. When my order appeared I calldd him to the side and asked him if it was customary for a server to put their hands in their pants while serving food. To my surprise he snappped back at me and said he sanitizes his hands regularly and his shirt tail is 15 inches long, so not a problem. Wow, is this guy crazy? His name is Cody Sleckensrein. I definatly, no matter how clean your hands are, even if you bathed in clorox to sanitize you butt, I do not want you handling my food after you put your hands down your pants.
