Never in my life have I heard you have to pay an office visit fee even if your copay is 0. I went for my yearly routine cleaning which is covered under my insurance. The orthodontist literally needs to go back to school and learn how to properly examining a patient's mouth. I was hit with a bill for 448 for a deep cleaning which I know my insurance covered because I get deep cleaning twice a year, but they wanted to use a laser treatment with cost more. This place is the worst dental office with very unprofessional service. After my Dental Health service verified that this Dentist excepts my dental plan I was told to call and make an appointment. I called and made the appointment they took my information and everything. A few days before the appointment I got two text messages asking me to confirm my appointment which I did. When I arrived for my appointment no one was at the desk but I figured out that there was a sheet to sign in so I did and took a seat. Other patients where there going in and coming out. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time before I was call to the desk. The desk clerk (actually Desk Jerk), said to me "I'm sorry but the Doctor said he cannot see you because we don't except your plan anymore because Medicaid don't pay their bills." I then, asked her "why did I have to come all the way here which is so far from where I live for them to tell me that now!!! You could have called me way ahead of time." I walked out and took a picture of their sign stating they do except Medicaid. read more

Let's start my saying this: the only reason they have been allotted a single star is due to the fact that I couldn't leave zero. First, this office is disgusting. The seats are old and worn. The floors looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. The equipment was not sanitized properly in between uses. The hand washing sink was ironically extremely dirty. However, the restroom was surprisingly very clean!! Service wise: The dentist told me my daughter's cavities were beyond filling, needed caps on 4 teeth, and gave me no options. As a parent I was very uncomfortable with having no options for my child and told that I had to do this because that's what the doctor said was best. I was pressured to sign a consent for anesthesia before I left the office. And the last thing I want to do is have my child be put to sleep if not absolutely necessary. At this point I went for a second opinion and was told that her cavities were so small, they didn't require a filling at this time. Only one tooth. The doctor gave me options, and a honest opinion. I would not recommend this Lovett location to any person wanting transparency and a honest opinion. read more

my husbands insurance company gave me a list of dentists who would accept his insurance, this place was one of them. I called to schedual his appointment she gave me a time and date. I confirm with her that they do accept his insurance. 4 days later we drove 20 min to the pearland location. We go in and get no acknowledgemen. We sit and wait at least 10 min, she finally sees us. she says she needs his insurance card because she wasn't able to verify his insurance, looks at the card and says they don't accept Humana. I've set enough appointments to know she should have called us at least a day in advance to get everything situated, so we wouldn't make a blank trip. We had to leave and find another dentist and I'm glad we did. The people here need better training. there wasn't a good vibe from any of the employees here. read more

I set up an appointment with Lovett at 12. I went to Lovett due to a long overdue cleaning and my tooth hurt a lot. I got there around 11:30. I finished my paperwork and finally got admitted. The lady took around 30 minutes to take x-rays and then sat me down. Then another nurse came in and was making me feel so shitty about my teeth, like she had such a bad tone with me. Then the actual doctor comes in and she asked me questions about my tooth, then just assumed I broke my tooth without even checking it... she told me to COME BACK LATER to do a cleaning for my teeth... didn't check if I had any cavities or anything (mind you it was already 12:45). Then send me to the front. The lady then told me it'll be 1,000 to get a cleaning, mind you they haven't even check my other teeth to see if I needed a filling... The dentist and the staff members were nice (except the accountant/finance person) The prices are extremely overinflated. For instance, they give a quote $420 for dental cleaning WITH INSURANCE. Without insurance they charge over $1000 for something that you can get for around $50 on Groupon. They also charged for something called sterilization even if I didn't ask for it, just another sign that how much they want to rip you off. I went to this location back in March because I had a bridge fell off. Everyone was very nice, didn't have an issue with any of the staff. I was told that my bridge was going to have to be completely redone. Unfortunately, the bridge had only been on a few months, so insurance wouldn't cover another one. I chose to just get 2 crowns and leave a gap in the middle because I couldn't afford another bridge, and insurance would cover the crowns. I had all of this done in mid-March. They told me it would take 2 weeks for the new crowns to come in. Due to the Covid shutdown, I was expecting a delay...even though no one bothered to inform me of this. Fast forward to May, I still hadn't heard anything and still didn't have my crowns. I called the office several times. Only one time did someone actually answer, I was told that someone would call me back. No one ever did. The other times I called the phone just rang and rang, no one ever answered. After never hearing from anyone about my crowns, I finally went to another dentist to get the crowns done at the end of June. However, I still had paid over $1000 to get the crowns from Lovett. Since I never received them and have already gone elsewhere to get the crowns, I'd like the money back that I spent at Lovett. We're getting into July and I still can't get anyone to return my phone call. read more

The office front desk staff is so ghetto and unprofessional. It took me 1 hour to get called to the back. The back staff is so respectable, the doctor and the assistant apologized to me about my wait and help me calm down. Than I needed some treatment done. It took the office manage almost 1 hour and 45 minutes just to give me a price or to see what percentage I had to pay. I will not be going back to that office. I wanted same day treatment, but to have to wait that long it is not acceptable. I was once a dental assistant and no office I worked at ever had this problem. They criticize the back, saying negative things about the back employees. The front desk really need some teaching about manners and respect. Dr Adams and her entire team were amazing! They fit me in late in the day because I urgently needed a root canal, and they were really friendly and patient with me. I still can't believe that I had a root canal and didn't feel a thing! Everyone I met was super professional and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is the most unprofessional ignorant place I have ever dealt with In my life not only are most of the receptionist rude and very disrespectful neither office knows what the other is doing I went to fry road location (which is by far the nicest ppl out of these hell holes) as an emergency visitor Bc my wisdom teeth were causing me excruciating pain so then I got referred to the Kirby clinic for 1:30 come to find out I get an email at 1:51 IN THE MORNING!!! that it's been changed to 10:30 so I rush there with my 2yo son (who was gonna go to a baby sitter but couldn't on such short time change) only to get there and wait for 45 min for them to tell me they forgot to pre authorize my insurance so then I call and think I have it sorted out to then take another two days off this time learning my lesson I call the day before and are told by two people we are good to go. I was relieved until the morning came the baby sitter came to get my son and I get a call that it is no longer gonna work and the only way it'd happen today is I'd have to pay cash in full to do it which with how much pain I'm in I wasn't against being of how severe my pain was so we where about to head out and then I get a call stating after saying they would take us with us paying cash they have now given my apt time to someone else and can't see me until October I am beyond upset and was constantly put on hold when they didn't want to listen to my desperate pleas to get this figured out today as I couldn't take off again they where rude and would cut me off I absolutely do not recommend any of these locations they are liars who can't get there head out of their ass long enough to take care of patients if I could give a zero I would read more

I appreciate them getting me in last minute and getting me the emergency help I needed on the Friday before a holiday weekend. The front desk attendant and the person who took my X-rays and blood pressure were both friendly and helpful. The building itself is a bit run down but for me the location, convenience and friendly staff made up for it with a quick pain/wisdom teeth consultation. They also helped me get set up with an oral surgeon for the next week - no long wait! read more

Dr. Adams and her staff is great! The office visit was efficient and fast, I filled my health history, the assistant , Gabby or Abby took my X-rays without making my aching tooth worse, and Dr. Adams diagnosed it quickly as an extraction, and then I signed my treatment plan, consents and I was getting numb, and out of pain all in like 20 minutes. It took me awhile to get totally numb, but Dr Adams was very patient with me, and when I was totally numb, she took it out in like 2 secs! I even saw it and it was all out! Thank God for offices that care about me, my time, and my pain level. Afterwards, my extraction socket woke up about 4 hours later, and I had NO PAIN! My daughter is a year and a half, today was her first time at a dentist office and the last at this location. The dental assistants are rude and inconsiderate. Being her first time, with two other children screaming their lungs out in a small room getting their teeth cleaned, of course she was going to be scared. But the assistants said ''she's just crying because she wants attention'' instead of trying to calm her down and setting some rapport with her they just told me to lay her down and hold her hands.
